Bengstons has became a yearly family tradition on my daughters birthday (Oct 2nd). This year she had the choice to go to the dells or six flags..and she STILL chose Bengstons! Not that were complaining The price is amazing for size of the farm and parking is always free. Lots to do!
I love this pumpkin patch. I take my kids every year. We even had my nieces bday party there last year. My kids and nieces absolutely love it...FAMILY FUNDAY
Its always a great time creating memeories at the farm. The petting zoo and corn maze are our favorites. Its worth the trip and price. We could spend all day here having fun and taking hey rides. A spooky family friendly time.
You have to go on an off day. Way to crowded and lines were too long. Dont buy a big pumpkin bc it's a long walk out carrying it.
To be honest i believe it was not worth $27.. Esp when you have to deal with traffic leaving out was horrible. There was no direction
Great place to take my son. First time there it was amazing the popcorn is the best and me and my 6 year old spent all day there. Lots of things to do, pig races, good quality food, hay rides and more. Can't wait to go back!

No one is social distancing!! And masks are preferred not recommended!!! Horrible when I asked for a refund they wouldn t give it to me. This place was a zoo! Packed with people all crammed together! They don t even wipe down the rides after. I will be contacting the CDC.

It was so overwhelming and crowded. No social distancing, no masks, smoking. It was absolute chaos. They just let people come in and no counts. The petting zoo was at least a block length line. I came in and paid $40 and walked out. I didn t even want to wait in the line for a pumpkin. The realization that the shut down was mandatory for our safety because people lack common sense and businesses can not enforce policies for general safety. I will not return. I swear I hope I don t get sick.
We first visited when my son was a year old after a colleague recommended it and now it is a family tradition. The people are all nice and kids and adults both have a great time. And you will sleep well afterwards!! My son's favorite is the corn pit and the doughnuts!

I love Sonny Acres, but this place is amazing. A little expensive to get in, but all rides and activities are included. Great food options as well.
My family and I had a lot of fun. A little crowded and not everyone was wearing masks, but the farm was clean, we had fun and the food was awesome. Apple Cider donuts and the rollercoaster were standouts!
I have been going to bengtsons since I was a little girl. It's a family tradition! I'm now married with a son and we cannot wait for him to have his first bengtson experience this fall! The season wouldn't be complete without a trip to our favorite pumpkin farm.
It is a huge carnival style attraction. The pumpkin patch itself is a little smaller than expected, but big enough. I feel like the petting zoo could use some TLC.
Absolutely LOVE this Farm! I have 5 children ranging in ages from 3-16. There is something to do for ALL of us! And the prices can't be beat! See you Monday!

This has been our favorite pumpkin patch for years. My kids absolutely love it. This is a pumpkin patch all will love. We love the mining and train ride and fun shop. We have always had such a great time. It s the one pumpkin patch my kids and I make sure we go to every year.
I live in Plainfield near other pumpkin patches but Bengston's is the only one we visit each year! So much for the kids to do and so many photo ops! Love it!

Cute pumpkin farm for all ages only about an hour from the city. The apple cider donuts are a must have when coming. They have a pretty big petting zoo, which was my personal favorite. Definitely worth the drive out!

This place has been around for years. Every year since I was younger I make sure to make a date to go. They have really added on to it through the years. Pumpkins are everywhere, the gift shops are full of fun, the employees I see are always so nice, Very kid friendly, the hay rides are something the little ones will enjoy. The haunted barn walk through has had that crypt keeper for years and I love seeing it up every year. If you are looking for some family fun, here is where you want to go.

Lots to do there! Very friendly staff. We had fun. Only bummer is the lines. Unlimited rides but its like being at Great America. So be prepared for that.

I absolutely love this place, I take my granddaughters for the past 2 years and they really look forward to it. The people who work there are really nice. The animals and the rides and especially the corn play area are the girls favorite. I think I have more fun than they do. Expensive, parking was absolutely terrible! And every food stand and ride was over an hour wait. Siegel's cotton wood farm was 100% better!!
Our families go to Bengston's every year. Adult and kids always have a good time. Always get cotton candy and their famous caramel apples to bring home. The pig Races are loved by us all. The kids love the mining company, slide, all the different props that their pictures can be taken with and especially the corn pit. I hear they have expanded. We all can't wait to make this fall visit again this year.
This is the BEST place for fall fun in the South Suburbs by far!!! The staff is super friendly, the food options are abundant, and it is so well decorated and laid out to prevent congestion on busy days. There is something for everyone of all ages to do. We especially love that if you arrive in the morning and have to leave because of naps/getting kids off the bus, they let you back in for no charge if you return the same day. You can really tell that the Bengston family really put a lot of love and thought into making this a fun, family place
Awesome, I went here with my family and we had a blast, although it was packed on a Saturday the lines went quick and the food was good. Our favorite part was the corn pool, we hanged out there and had fun. The price is 21 dollars and children under 2 or 3 go for free don t know the rest of the information but it was fun and if your planning to go make sure you have plenty of time

Great place! First year we came here and it is not like any pumpkin patch we've been to! There are some carnival rides for kids, haunted house, tons of pumpkins, hay rides, lots of food like corn on the cob, apple cider, kettle corn, barbecue and pig racing! Totally worth the $10 per person entrance fee. All rides are unlimited! We'll be back again!!
Visit bengstons pumpkin festival for the first time since moving to Chicago and I wish I would've visit sooner! Took my son for his first time in the pumpkin patch and he loved petting the goats, loved the pig races arena so did we adults the workers are super friendly and overall is such a beautiful fun place to visit. It will be our every year MUST visit. Oh also, please make sure you try their doughnuts and kernel corn popcorn!! Thank me later LOL #bengstson'ssquad

This place has no regard for the safety of its patrons during a pandemic. No social distancing, barely any masks being worn, and hard to find hand sanitizer. I ve been here before so I know it s overpriced but the fact that basically the only thing they did for covid is not put the swimming pools of corn is such a disappointment. I hope the owners realize that there is a pandemic going on before they get into trouble. Definitely will be reporting them

We Love Bengstons Pumpkin Farm!!!!! Totally recommend it!!!! It has alot to keep the entire family entertained. We've been going there every yr for the past five yrs. My kids already ask when are we going to the pumpkins as soon as the leaves start to fall!!!They have alot to look at and enjoy. They have rides as well. This place is huge and great for kids. Great place to take nice pictures and have fun. They have a lot of attractions there. They have petting zoo which is pretty cool. Good selection of food and food is very delicious especially wood oven pizza. Barn full of corn daze is great fun for kids and adults. The staff is very friendly. This place is really nice and clean.

and a lot of people cutting line,you see people behind you next thing you know they are on the ride..I went home too much people to be around...they just care about the money cuz there not doing nothing so people can be safe.

If you want to pay exorbitant entry prices, pumpkins priced on the gold standard, and deal with bees and people - yeah, it's ok. It's a pretty standard farm. Cut outs for pictures of our kids we'll never look at again, the barfing ghoul scene, and pig races. It's definitely not worth the price of admission, unless you really like trying to keep up with the Joneses and their antics.
So much fun! Clean, one process for activites (entrance fee) great donuts, just missed the corn on the cob and apple cider but had a blast taking our son.

Cannot believe this place is allowed to stay open right now. Wish I had read the reviews beforehand, I didn't even bother going in after seeing half the guests not even wearing masks. There must have been thousands of people there, and clearly there was zero effort put forth to follow even the most basic CDC guidelines. I was honestly ashamed to see this kind of disregard for public safety. I guess they made their money though, so whatever. Disgraceful.

My family and I went yesterday to have a good time and pick pumpkins. After a wonderful time, and spending a great amount of money the night came to a very uncomfortable, and disappointing end. There were five adults and eight children in my party and we all had pumpkins. We stood in the checkout line for about ten minutes waiting to purchase our pumpkins less than two minutes after I just paid for my pumpkins and my sister paid for hers, security stopped us saying I want to make sure every pumpkin was paid for. Now this was very usual seeing as though he and his coworkers just witnessed my entire family pay for our pumpkins. After letting him check the receipt, that was just freshly printed after our purchase, we then see the rest of our party, including the children with us, stopped with the security guard and an armed cop checking ONLY our receipts. The cop screamed at my sister saying I THOUGHT YOU STOLE THEM when she asked him Why are you only checking our receipts? I believe we were treated unfairly because we were racially profiled. Not one Caucasian family was stopped, not even the large families, but they chased after my family with false accusations. This type of behavior is unacceptable when. We were there to have a good time and a display of racism and unprofessionalism was what we received in front of eight children who was terrified that their moms, aunts, and cousins would be shot or taken to jail over pumpkins they paid their hard owned money for.

Most adorable place. Yes I said adorable. It's friendly and welcoming. My visit was with my daughters kindergarten class during October.
Nothing frightening. Maybe because it was during the day. Instead it was focus in the fall theme. With tons of pumpkins, hay stacks, scarecrows, live farm, maze, a small hunted house and hay rides (rides without the hay) apparently incase some people are allergic to hay. So it's just used as decor onsight but not near public. Thoughtful. Oh yes! And pig races. That was funny.
Also a couple picnic areas. So bring your light lunch. But no public restrooms just porta potty. Thank goodness they were clean.
My family loves going to Bengston s Pumpkin farm! We sadly moved from Illinois but travel back every fall to visit family and of course Bengston s! It s a great family tradition that will be forever in our hearts!
