They administer my health savings account. Using it is beneficial for me tax wise but I didn't sign up this year because they are so impossible to deal with. I do not know whether it is incompetence or they simply make it so difficult to get your money so people give up and leave money in the account at the end of the year, which Benefit Strategies confiscates. I have spent hours on the phone with them, either waiting for someone to answer or trying to work out claims that were wrongly denied. It is not clear at all how to do things on their website. A horrible, unethical, incompetent company that I'm sure literally steals people's money by making it difficult and time consuming to file claims. They truly deserve the term "Kafkaesque" as a description of trying to get anywhere with them.

Absolutely a scam. Went to use my insurance finally that I ve been paying oh for 12 months only to find out it s inactive. They ve surely been collecting my payments though. Customer service is ZERO help and lies. Was assured the number on my card wouldn t be inaccurate. After I was assured my account was fine, called my doctor back. Still not active and they had a second entirely different number that I was assured wouldn t exist. The second number wasn t active either!!! You ve collected 12 months of payments for a policy thay is inactive. That s called a scam. There needs to be a class action against this company.

STAY AWAY IF YOU MAY ACTUALLY NEED YOUR INSURANCE OR DONT ENJOY BEING ROBBED

Oh and if you post a negative comment on their Facebook they ll call and ask you to remove it despite not even fixing your original issue, nice try.

Worst customer service I have experienced. Waited on the phone for 25 minutes to talk with a customer service, when finally able to connect he told me that they were not answering questions over the telephone and I needed to use the online assistance help. I tried but it didn't work! HORRIBLE!

At this point, the only thing I can assume is that they purposely are difficult to try and keep unused money. There's no other explanation for how hard they make things. Spent hours trying to reach anyone today, only to be told there was nothing they could do to get receipts cleared, they needed to be reconciled. For the amount of time you spend actually trying to claw your money back you may as well just not participate in the program.

I had to deal with them as the administrator of COBRA when I left my job. They took my money, but never notified BCBS, so they cancelled me. I called Benefit Strategies 3 times last week and was assured that they show my payment received and everything should be fine. Well it's definitely NOT fine and BCBS better pay for todays doctors visit! Their customer service is the worst, once you finally get through. I had no choice as to who would administer my COBRA, but if you can stay away form them, do it!

I don't typically give reviews but unfortunately I have had the same experience as many others. The reimbursment is challenging to get, the process has changed three times in the past year and the time I have spent either on the phone or getting the paperwork correctly submitted is more valuable to me than the money I have saved through my tax benefit. I have not signed up for the benefits this year. I do hope that these reviews are considered seriously so that there could be some improvements made for more user friendly experience.

I requested a replacement card for my FSA account and three weeks later I had not yet received it in the mail. I called to find out the status and the person on the other end of the phone said "It should have gotten there by two weeks." I asked her to check to see if one had been mailed and she stated that she was unable to do that. What the heck?

I've had 1-2 telephone experiences with customer service where they were actually helpful. Currently, I have been chasing payment on a claim I submitted a month ago. I've called and live chatted )multiple times each) and cannot get an answer as to the delay in reimbursement. The name of the payee is Sequoia DENTAL Associates, it's not like I'm trying to get reimbursed for my dry cleaning or something.
