I love this church. People are are caring and nonjudgmental. This is a church whose members show up both in jeans and a t shirt or a suit. Either is fine as the focus is not works and appearance but grace. The new tablet/phone app integration to follow the sermon is outstanding!!

Being a servant and serving is a huge part of who I am (from local community service to mission trips outside of the country). Having a church that gives me an opportunity to share my gift to love people with Christ's love (both within and outside the church community) has been a great blessing.
I have lived in the United States for 5 years and have had multiple church experiences, but BDCC is home. There is something for everyone from the young to old. They have made some tremendous efforts to make investments to upgrade their building, programs and outreach in the community.
I highly recommend giving it a try and experience it for yourself.
For some who have attended one church their entire lives, it may be hard to understand the difficulty in finding a new church to call home. We endured a number of visits to other local churches on the west side of Indianapolis in the mid-2000's before settling here at Ben Davis Christian Church because the people made a genuine effort to show the love of Jesus to those who enter their doors.
I've been helping out with the student ministry for most of my time at BDCC, and it has been an experience in personal growth seeing, at various times, the struggles of teenagers and their ultimate triumphs as they give their lives to Jesus. God is at work in peoples' lives on the west side, and we have a burden for people of all ages, of whatever cultural, racial, ethnic, or social background, to know Jesus and to make Jesus known.
Ben Davis Christian Church serves the spiritual needs of families with programs for men, women, kids, teenagers: those with only a few miles on the odometer and those with quite a few more. If you're looking for a place to call your church home, even if you've risked it before with less than stellar results, stop by Sunday mornings at 8:30 or 11:00. We have a place for you.
If you are in high school, join us Wednesday evenings from 6:30 until 8:00 PM in the Underground (basement of Building B) for snacks, games, worship and a relevant study in God's Word. We're typically done by 8:00, but some teens like hanging out there so much they won't leave until 8:30 or later. Sunday mornings at 9:30, high school students meet in the Gathering Room (come in the main church entrance and turn left) for Teen Disciples Group, a time of Bible study. We'll be looking for YOU.
My first encounter with Christ was awesome the very first day I entered this church. This is a family that believes and preach the words of God, never discriminate, shows love, grounded in teaching the bible, highly sophisticated programs for the children and a very conducive environment. I highly recommend this church to anyone willing to grow spiritually and that want to know God more and more.
My family of 5 has had a great experience at Ben Davis since we started there over a year ago. There are great Sunday School classes for each of our ages and opportunities to get involved with other small groups, volunteering in the community and serving at church. We're very happy to be there.

I really enjoy BDCC. There's something for everyone, we have three kids, teens and elementary school aged. They all love their Sunday School experiences. My husband and I attend an adult Sunday School class and are part of a connection group. The staff and members are extremely welcoming and enthusiastic. I am very proud to be part of their "Take the city" mission to be a positive force on the west side of Indianapolis.
I really love the mission at Ben Davis Christian Church "Know Jesus, Make Jesus Known". This is what all Christians are called to do. Sunday morning service has such a comfortably family atmosphere to it and the sermon message is informative, scripture packed, and makes you want to come back for more.
