Belmont House Hotel Review

Food was lovely. Service was very quick thou tht worried me slightly. Staff were very helpful and pleasant.

Just recently renovated small hotel. Although it's right in the town, it's allocated in a private, quiet area. Peaceful atmosphere, nice breakfast, and lovely bar downstairs. Definitely will be on my regular places for breakfast or cocktails after work.

Was there for a meeting. Great scones and tasty sandwiches for lunch. Lot of renovation work going on outside.

Had Sunday lunch here, dinner was very good, service was excellent and reasonably priced.

Great staff. However the food standard has slipped 10 fold.. got food a few times recent and wasn't impressed.

Lovely surroundings with large car park,meals were excellent,good portions and quality food.Table service was first class,prompt service and very friendly staff.Highly recommend this hotel.

Recently renovated and nicer than before, the restaurant wasn't ready so can't comment on anything but the room.

Food wasn't great... felt like our food had been kept warm ready to go until they were ready to go. It felt like they prioritized a quick service over quality as orders had been placed in advance due to being a private function. Very disappointed will not be back. Staff we dealt with however were very good #rehyrateddinner #embarrassedchef #wasteofmoney

Called into hotel this morning and we had a lovely cooked breakfast. Food excellent, service quick and lovely friendly staff (especially Felicity!)

Just OK. Old fashioned and not able to deal with hot rooms during the heatwave.

Great food and lovely room. Blinds dont keep the light when asleep so bring an eye mask.

Party of 2 we got 2 main courses and the food was to a very high standard. Service was first class! Reasonably priced! Lovely atmosphere!

Terrible food. This place has really gone downhill. Can't fault the staff though they did thier best to searve us hence the 2 stars, but the festive chicken was as if it was in the oven for an hour and the bacon was burnt and hard as the road. The tomatoe soup which was supposed to be vegetable was awful. On a plus note the kids liked thier food although you can't really go wrong with sausages and chips! I'll not be back, which is a pity as it is a lovely place with nice facilities.

Warm and welcoming staff from the moment you enter the Reception. The ladies who checked me in/out were polite and informative. Great rooms, good size, comfortable, modern bathrooms. Enjoyed a few evening meals and would only maybe suggest slightly more choice maybe, otherwise no complaints

Food was absolutely beautiful! Great flavour and it was so hot! Fast service! Lovely manners from staff! Staff were very attentive and asked if we need drinks etc. We had a private rooom and it was beautifully decorated! Our family loves the restaurant and go here for family meals!

What a lovely hotel lovely old Georgian house has all mod cons from u drive up till 2 reception your made more than welcome spotless clean staff could not do enough for us food is freshly cooked delicious very relaxing will come back it is as good as u get

My parents' former home. Restored to its former glory. Beautiful. Excellent food, decor and atmosphere. A credit to the owner.

Went for my daughter's 21st as this is where she chose. Not much of a selection of starters and mains. Food was ok but not great. Service was good but all in all for the price and quality not overly impressed.

Small hotel set in beautiful grounds. Nice bar/bistro downstairs and more formal dinning upstairs. The menu has a good range of dishes and the food is excellent.

Nice place, had a resent referbishment, good size rooms unless you get the box room then it's not the best. Had the steak pita which was a good size meal.

The hotel has the lovely ambience and decor of a historic building plus friendly staff, good food and drink but bedrooms have some limitations.

Place was clean the food was good the only down point was the menu wasn't enough of a choice but the 4of us got enough to do and service was quick and reasonably priced.

Food exceptional ambience & service excellent enjoyed

I went for a viewing this week before running a private event at this venue in Banbridge. It s newly refurbished and my photo shows the main room set up for an event. It has also been upgraded recently from a 3 star to a 4 star hotel.

There is currently the potential of 2 separate entrances into this private function room.

My three sisters all had this venue as their wedding reception venue and I have attended multiple private parties and events in this local hotel and dined here on many occasions.

There is plenty of free parking and the private grounds offer lots of garden space and photo opportunities.

As well as the private party rooms there are hotel bedrooms and a restaurant and bar.

Food excellent rooms excellent hygiene excellent gardens excellent however the best thing is the customer experience. Staff genuinely welcome you to the hotel and go the extra mile.

Attended a 40 year Marriage Vow Reaffirmation Ceremony here. Really enjoyable venue. Friendly staff and good food. Relaxed atmosphere.

Lovely for breakfast and evening meals. Definitely worth a visit.

Oh wow this little gem is such a lovely place to get away from the hussle and bussle of our every day lives. The staff were incredible, courteous, attentive, helpful. Room was lovely. Spotless. The breakfast was enjoyable and filling. We'll worth the visit. Definitely will go back again.
