Love this church. Great people. Inspired minister. Great sermons. Fantastic music. Worship service includes a cool mix of traditional and contemporary Christian music with both a choir and a band. Fabulous children and family ministry. Relaxed and casual "come as you are" style and vibe.

I have visited First Pres Santa Monica several times with my family, and was filled with hope and happiness every time. Pastor Bill Wood is modern, compassionate and optimistic, and the dedicated members of First Pres feel like a family. Having attended a more traditional church as a child, attending First Pres Santa Monica was a breath of fresh air. Although traditional values hold true, this congregation is not afraid to look the future in the eye and practice the teachings of the Bible with an open mind more suited to today s environment: passion, preservation, love, family, and acceptance.
