Belmond Hotel Caruso Review

Restaurant had good food with an amazing view. The customer service was also excellent! However the 166 bill was very questionable. It was good but not mind blowing.

Tip: unless you want to splash the cash or make it rain, save your money on a similarly priced restaurant in Rome or Florence.

If you must go, enjoy and treat yourself.

One word!!! Amazingggggggg I have left a review on Facebook but again can t say enough great things about this place!!!!

Perfect, flawless service! I enjoyed the seafood salad very much, while I found it a bit dry frying. All made special with a splendid sea view, I recommend it!

I had the good fortune of attending a wedding here. The property, views and sheer beauty of the place almost upstaged the bride. The food was excellent and the service first rate. The entire staff bent over backwards to please. Unfortunately I couldn't stay at the hotel itself - nothing available - but I would book it for myself on my next Amalfi Coast teip.

My stay at this hotel was absolutely monumental. My wife and I spent a night here on our honeymoon. When we checked in, our suite was upgraded and were greeted with a bottle of champagne. Staff was very friendly and accommodating, they definitely went above and beyond. The hotel itself it incredible beautiful campus and views are just phenomenal. We ordered room service and we liked the pasta dish- might be bold of me to say I enjoyed that dish more than the restaurant. Definitely looking to visit again!

We had a reservation Of two rooms in Belmond Portofino. A day before our Travel we Made a test check for Covid-19. Unfortunately two out Of four persons got positive results. We r aware of the fact how important it is to be responsible nowadays to protect the society and people around us, therefore we made a health check before the travel even though none of us has symptoms. After getting the results, we contacted the hotel for changing the dates of our stay or getting a refund. Unfortunately, the respond was negative . Now the question is: the politics of the hotel is based on inviting guests no matter what and having insecure environment for others?

Top notch ... our experience has been unforgettable ... personnel very competent, professional and kind ... we got married there and guests were delighted with the whole experience! This place is a must when exploring Italy ...

This hotel is, by far, THE BEST five star hotel I have personally visited in my many years of travel. The service is outstanding, far exceeding the prestigious hotels all over the USA and London. I definitely will be returning. OUTSTANDING.

We had an exceptional experience at the Belmond Caruso. The hotel is wonderfully designed and really fits into the environment. It's perfectly located at the top of Ravello right next to a cute little church on a cobble stone road - it's almost hard to tell which is hotel and which is just the old town of Ravello.



The hotel restaurants are all phenomenal - definitely make sure to have dinner at the hotel restaurant at least one of your nights. The pool and garden area are wonderfully designed and very inviting to spend a lot of time.

The Caruso Belvedere is a homepage on time, it was when I was attending me forty years ago hotel is, it is now home to a clientele with considerable economic capacity providing extreme services with respect, prefer to remember, however, as it once was, however exclusive but not like today, with its rooms ancient time provided with semicircular balconies overlooking the Mediterranean, its collection of 800 paintings, the dining room bathed in soft lighting, quiet and discreet, the production of wines for guests, courtesy of the friendly and intimate management that always made him look at the center of the universe; I went through intense periods within those walls feeling master of the world.

Went to dinner here and had an amazing meal. The definition of luxury. The staff kept bringing us complimentary dishes and were extremely kind. It was truly an experience.

This property is terrific, great service. Stayed there for 3 nights, felt safe enough not to use the safe to put a way small amount of cash. Half of cash was gone by check out. Be sure to fully utilize the in room safe. We were not rob in Naples, but at a room in this property.

I didn't stay here. What I did was have a GREAT family meal, poolside, on a summer evening.

It cost a fortune. It was worth every penny. Great food, SPECTACULAR service, and ... FUN.

I recently photographed a wedding at Belmond Hotel Caruso, and I loved it. Everything from the service from the food was impeccable, and the rooms are bright and spacious. I can totally recommend it to any couple looking to have a destination wedding in Ravello, and it's the perfect wedding venue! But also a beautiful honeymoon resort for you and your beau!

The first time in the far 2007 that I been to Hotel Caruso for a Japanese Wedding I m been impressed about all it.

The Hotel Caruso is famous for the century-old gardens , it has 50 between rooms and suites, dining restaurant on terrace a stunning infinity pool , Wellness Centre and and a cute luxury boutique.
Hotel Caruso is an old convent, it has an old chapel inside, is structured on more level and as of last and unique as an amazing Pool called Infinity pool where sky and water came across there, the could with the mountain create a game of color unique in itself.

We just love Hotel Caruso in Ravello! Definitely a 5 star experience, with breathtaking views & luxurious surroundings. My husband and I were married here a few years ago, and currently Hotel Caruso is also the most loved venue on our Wedding Directory. We can't recommend them more!

Wonderful experience, a branch of our family had chosen this Hotel for their daughter's wedding and about 35 of us attended from the States. Location, service, food were all exceptional, couldn't ask for more or a better day. Would highly recommend this location for anyone planning a wedding in Italy.

Top of the line. Super service and great view from the mountains. Only one restaurant, but they have shuttles to Amalfi to go to dinner. Also to positano, but not convenient for dinner, mostly for lunch.

The restaurant is definitely a place you go to for an experience more than the food itself which I thought was great but not spectacular. I would just go back there to drink the wine personally and have dinner elsewhere :) The wine was and service were excellent. Also a nice place to have champagne in their little bubbly garden before dinner. A glass will cost you around 30, which in some cases is the price of the bottle itself, but yea it's the experience and atmosphere you're paying for.

What can I say ... I am particularly attached to the Belmond Hotel Caruso, because right here, last April 27th, I celebrated my wedding.

The location is truly breathtaking, starting from the main garden with its fragrant wisteria to the infinity pool that offers a marvelous view of the Amalfi coast.
Not to mention the food, all our guests have appreciated every single course, thanks to Chef Mimmo Di Raffaele, who has satisfied all our requests!
The Belmond Hotel Caruso is one of those places where you can easily feel at home, and where we will definitely return on the occasion of an upcoming anniversary, with the hope of being able to meet all the staff again.

Went here for a wedding and it was amazing - the Olive Garden was beautiful, particularly the stunning view, and the infinity pool made a great place to finish up the night. The best wedding venue I've been to for sure.

What to say and only that it is not for everyone's pocket

I'm surprised he doesn't have five full stars. It is a wonderful hotel set in a breathtaking setting, where everything is taken care of in the smallest details.

I would say the food was AWESOME! The service.... not so much... Took 20 minutes to get our check and we never had our waters refilled. There was maybe 6 tables total for lunch and three waiters and a runner no lack of staff. I would just suggest to management to make sure you serve all your patrons at the same level. Lunch $175 euros... deserves better service. Food was great!

Honestly I don t have much to say about this wonderful place, if I could, I d give them 10 stars. The staff is impeccable, the facility is simply outstanding. At the check-in we received an upgrade for a room that was just breathtaking, and so was the view from every corner of the hotel. The rates are very high but I guess you pay for a 360 degrees experience. It s not just a hotel, is definitely more. I ll stay here again and again.

Came to charge my Tesla. Nice staff. Get the charge for free. Drank a soda. The view from the terraza is stunning, the swimming pool at the edge of the cliff is just breathtaking. All the alleys in the garden are shaded and well decorated and maintained. Very good experience of EV charging. They have to Tesla destination chargers, usually occupied by fossil cars, so call ahead before showing up.

Such a beautiful place with an amazing view and helpful kind staff... I didn't stay as I was a photographer for a couple who got engaged there so I can't comment on the room quality but I can't imagine it being bad...

Exclusive hotel, the location is simply heavenly, breathtaking view, dream pool ... the most beautiful I've ever seen. Perfect for services, kitchen and staff competence. Refined and welcoming rooms, nothing is left to chance, great care even in the smallest details. The only drawback ... extremely demanding from an economic point of view. It would be commendable to be able to allow an unforgettable experience to many by diversifying the offer!

Magnificent hotel with a splendid view, hyper-professional staff ... the charm of luxury hotels.

Ate lunch at the pool bar on a day trip - it was quite tasty, though not a cheap meal for what we had. The views however cannot be beat!
