Horrible customer service, they find any excuse to charge you extra. Gi to another location.
Don't take any computer equipment to them they do not know how to package correctly have two claims that were settled.
I had shipped an expensive car (>$800) part on 7/26/19 that was suppose to arrive in Alaska by 8/1/2019. I paid over $180 for shipping which included insurance! I had just checked the tracking number on the UPS tracking and it didn't show that the label was even created even though the receipt shows the tracking number.
Update 8/3/2019: I ve updated the ratings from 1 star to 4 stars after Marcus and Naresh was able to help quickly resolve this issue over the weekend. It turns out the wrong tracking number was given on my credit card charge receipt and they had tracked down the correct number. I plan to provide further updates after picking up the package in Alaska.
Update 8/5/2019: I ve updated the ratings from 4 stars to 5 stars. The package was in good shape when it arrived in Alaska. It sounds like it was an honest mistake that they provided me with the wrong tracking number. The package did arrive on time.
Great store, staff are Wonderfull definitely recommend to go there. Definitely 5 star
New staff are great! Happy, welcoming and attitude free! If you were scared off before, come back
We go everyday to pick up mail. Staff is always outgoing, welcoming, knowledgeable and very helpful. Manager Brian is outstanding! Recommend!!!
NOTE: This UPS Store also delivers via USPS for a slight increased fee. I find this extremely convenient since the next closest USPS office is not very close.
Outside of that, it's a pretty standard UPS store. The staff was pretty nice as well.
Marcus was very friendly, helpful, and patient. I'll be shipping more packages from this location
Even if you visit the store within office hours, person says he has already closed his system and refused to ship the package. It was very bad experience. Will never visit again
I want to receive packages in your office. you charge for this service or it's free? Please tell me the your email. I can't call you.
Very rude associates! Experienced twice the same pattern.
Store Manager, Brian, was a great help and very friendly!
Every time I have stopped into this UPS store, I've had a great experience! I'm in and out quick, the location is very convenient, the staff is very helpful and friendly! Thanks for making the mailing process so easy!
Used to come this place for Amazon & Costco returns mostly , good place with some stationery collectios , but the customer service is terribly bad , usually I used to take print out & come but this time I couldn't I was trying to take print out of the computer over there , but kinda struck.customer representative didn't care to help me without taking print out my card was charged then again I have to go to someother UPS store to return my package this store is good for location but known for bad customer service .
Was able to quickly and easily drop off my packages, buy stamps, and have documents copied.
Paid to have a flat screen tv packed and shipped. It arrived in many many pieces, totally destroyed.
Amazing customer service! The employees who work here are always so kind, friendly and helpful. I appreciate this store being so close to where we live and easy to do business with. Thank you!
Bad/lying customer service. Often claims the machine is broken for printing an Amazon label. Guy Brian tells you if you had a bar code they could help, 5 minutes later go back and show the barcode from an email and then he changes his tune "oh yeah the machine is not working to be able to scan right now". Seems like a private social club at this place with bad attitude.
Really friendly staff, which is about all I care about since after that it is just a UPS store that takes packages and ships them off.
Called they said it would be delivered next day, get there they said Monday, still not there by Tuesday. Wasted money, I see the person I was mailing products to TODAY, I could have saved that money and handed them off today!!!
Spent $8.30 on a computer there to print a document I needed notarized on site...offers notary services but no option to print a document on legal sized paper. Discovered this after swiping my card. No refund available.
Really good costumer service and speed; very helpful and didn't make me feel like a chump with my silly questions. Professional all the way.
Absolutely terrible. I live out of state and needed someone to pick something up and ship it to me. This location said they provided this service for a fee. Problem is they never picked up my item. When I called to see what was going on they said they would no longer do it. They never even called me.
Horrible experience with Marta. Very rude person who does even know how to find the zip code on a document. She was unable to help me with a simple return. Also she gave me the phone number of her manager (Jon) which was for a phone that was right next to her. This is a fraud.
This store has one of the best sales associates I ever encountered. Bianca went above and beyond to make sure I was well taken care of. As I waited for my turn in line, I observed and she treated everyone with great respect and professionalism. I was happy that I stopped into this store. One of my favorites now!
Do not go there anymore if you work in Seattle or Bellevue area. Try Kiwiship. They picked up my package from my office, and shipped it out on the same day. Same cost, no extras. Recommend here.
Poor experience. The manager was rude and condescending. He charged me a dollar to tape a label on a return box: Reason? "I don't make money when people drop off return packages"
I told him to learn a lesson or two from his neighbors i.e. Nordstrom & Starbucks.
UPS should take note and have some oversight on the level of customer service being delivered through its stores.
It s 2018 - need to have online renewal. Calling is a pain - takes too long, have to repeat everything, get told to call back later, etc. And the rate increases are frequent and steep. They raise prices almost EVERY RENEWAL!
"This store has hopeless customer service". I have been regular visitor of this store and have often found the customers associates quite disengaging and not helpful at all. Particularly, the associate named CHRIS has been very rude, for instance, I had visited the store for sending pre-paid return envelope and had clearly written down the the recipient address, but he missed the receiver's name once, the company's name second time, etc. He himself was very stressful and was queuing the line due to his own negligence, but insead started blaming me and said that I could go somewhere else.
In short, I never expected such hopeless customer service and callous attitude from UPS, which ranks No. 1 in Logistics brands.
I WOULD REQUEST TO TAKE SERIOUS ACTIONS AGAINST THE PERSON NAMED ABOVE
Update - August 22, 2019
Thanks for the response. However, I do want to mention that had CHRIS been interested in doing the job, then he won't have shouted on me in front of so many other customers. Especially, he should be extra cautious when he is in training period. This clearly indicates that he is not in need of this job or would be extremely lethargic if made permanent
Since they are a franchise, they refuse UPS shipping account numbers for billing. They instead tell you to visit main UPS somewhere on Airport Way in South Seattle.
Fast and friendly. I've been coming here for years and always get top notch service from every member of the crew. Plus, there's coffee next door. Beat that, creepy 3rd Avenue Main USPS!
The staff is nice, and gives useful advice for packaging
The girl, Cree, tried to trick me into buying a more expensive service (3 days shipping) by saying the Ground shipping did not pop up in her system, after I specially asked for it. At first, she just casually told me the cost is $19. However, I did my research and know that the best service for me is Ground (costed $10). I was sending a package from Seattle to Portland, and the deadline is in 1 month. She used the Covid card and scared me that the Ground service is the most interrupted service, and my package - if sent by Ground - can't even get there by next month. LOL! Guess what, I did not believe her and visited my usual Capitol Hill store and have my package sent with $10 and expected delivery date is 2 days from now. Expectedly, they said what she told me "did not make any sense"! Glad I did not fall into her scam. Shame on her.
My sweet colleague visited this store to make some prints and the person who attended her was so rude that she returned in tears.
Like the store for a quick drop off why are they complaining about this store loosing stuff? its not the store its the corporation not following directions or how to deliver drop off s once notified on how to do it! what s so hard about using the intercom system? it takes more time writing a tag than putting it on the window then using the intercom system to buzz them in? Only had stuff Stolen not lost, I just wish there was a UPS store closer to my house, I mean my apartment! They seemed pretty courteous to me! except following directions on deliveries!!!
I had great service from Cree this week. She was a one woman show and handled it like a boss. Thank you!
Literally have been standing in line for 50 minutes and there is one person here at 5:30-7p, during the busiest time of the day in the middle of downtown Seattle how in the world is this an acceptable customer experience?
Can the people here be any more rude? I've had already pretty bad experiences, but yesterday was the second time that I visit this UPS location and get rebuked. Will make sure to avoid it next time thank God there is a FedEx nearby. I have no idea what their problems are but there is no need to treat your customers as carelessly and as rudely as they did twice to me already.
Chris at this store is awesome! Super efficient & helpful!
Nice place to get things faster. Staff is efficient and polite. Very good recent experience with printing from my email.
Really bad customer service. Didn t help with what i needed and started talking to the next person in line .
I returned a package to Amazon here after work one day. I spent less than a minute in the store, there was no wait and the man who helped me was super quick.
The location is good and the staffs are friendly. I returned an item there and it was really fast.
Came to return some items I bought through amazon It was actually a decent experience the staff was nice and helpful. I was in and out quickly it was scanned right away because i received the notice on my phone fast.
Always super efficient, especially with online print. I've been in several times and the lines move smoothly.
Friendly and helpful staff but being a little more informative to the client about service charges will really help!
I brought a laptop unboxed, and they said they can professionally box it and send it. I was glad not to go over the hassle myself and found out after I paid overall, the boxing service was $20 on top of shipping. I still would've took the service but having known the fee would prevent the client feeling a little bit 'caught' after. Great and fast service otherwise!
Isaac was extremely professional and so good at multitasking and making sure everyone was taken care of right at closing time! It's such a pleasure to find courteous and helpful people! Thanks, Isaac.
RUDE STAFF! Called up to ask if they would be open on Christmas Eve and this guy Chris answered. His voice was breaking the first time so I called back again and he replies with a tsk saying I just said yes, dude! Thanks but a polite yes would have sufficed. Happy Holidays.
Staff here needs training. They were not even able to print an Amazon label for our package.
I dropped off a package for return shipping to Amazon at 8 AM on a weekday. I was in and out in minutes.
The guy was great, he came out to get me. I was at the 1700 building, they are not in that building, you have to go towards the Starbucks next to the building at the corner and turn right and they are there. I didn't understand that when he tried to tell me over the phone so he came right out and got me. It was just an Amazon return that needed to go through UPS so it was simple, scan the code and a label was printed.
Brian deserves all the praise in the world. I had a mishap where I chose to make the receiver of my package sign for it and then when I went to change it, the corporate UPS wouldn't let me and forced my package back to me to have to resend. What would have been a week turn around and a whole bunch of my frustration was solved easily by Brian. Brian made the process efficient and was so helpful to me. I cannot thank him enough for how much he saved the day! If every UPS location had a Brian the world would run a lot smoother. THANK YOU BRIAN!!!! You are amazing and I will tell everyone I know to visit you at your location because you truly provided the best customer service I've ever experienced!
Horrible service - Beware of notary person - Marta - worst person I met. Kept me waiting for 30 min because she was too dumb to know how to print a document. When I complained she refused to service the notary. UPS really hates their customers. AVOID UPS AT ALL COST!!!!
I went there on Wednesday with huge project that needed to get out. The person who was working there went completely above and beyond to help me even though she happened to be the only person there that day. I watched her juggle my job and continue to help the other customers that came in. It was pretty masterful. I had to go back the next day to pick some stuff up, and I met the owner, who was completely wonderful as well. It's easy to see why her employee is such a pro - great training and customer obsession!
This was the worst customer experience I've had in several years. John, the manager (if he indeed is the manager of the store as he claims) refused to notarize my document since he could not understand the content (foreign language). Me and my wife (who's also a notary public) had a different understanding of the notarization rules but he would not listen to me trying to explain the situation. When I tried to give him the phone to talk to my wife to try to clarify the situation, he said he won't talk to her because it's not his job, and he won't change his mind anyway. When I finally convinced him to, he engaged in shouting at my wife and then basically hang up on her. I ended up leaving the store empty handed and amazed at the rudeness of the manager.
I find it incredible that this level of customer service exists and what's more, judging from other reviews, is tolerated by UPS.
Regularly ship parcels from this store purely out of necessity. Counter attendant, Marta, is rude and catty and I'm worried about the service I'll receive every time I have to visit this store. Has refused to send packages on more than one occasion because "she don't have to".. ridiculous. I can't believe she's offended so many people and they keep her around. How hard is it to train someone new?
I have been using this store for more than a year and everything is going well with me.
I purchased an envelope at this UPS store, put a pair of AirPods in in, sealed the envelope, UPS employees weighed the envelope and a shipping label was printed. The package arrived and the AirPods were not in the package. I have a photo of the shipping label on top of packing tape that repaired the torn envelope proving that the envelope was tampered with before the label was added. When I went back to the Store and showed them the photo, they said they would file a claim with corporate. The owner called and asked to meet. I went back and showed him the photo and his response was that I shouldn t come back to his UPS store if I wasn t satisfied.
I ve filed a police report. I ve made a claim. I ll file with the BBB tomorrow. This UPS store has an issue with theft. Ship here at your own risk.
If they lose your stuff, which they often do, you're in for a ride with their very rude and absolutely incompetent staff. I would avoid this store at any cost.
I dread coming to this UPS store. This location is only good for dropping off packages you ve already boxed up at home. The employees are very unhelpful every time I come here.
Very helpful staff! They patiently helped me out with notarizing and sending my documents when I was disorganized and stressed out. Special thanks to Maria and Santosh for being helpful and cordial.
Always a great staff and open on Saturdays which is a big plus
You have to print your own mailing labels on a computer they charge by the minute, including time it takes for their slow printer to work. Automatic $20 hold and $2 minimum, high compared to competitors.
Don't waste your time here. They'll charge you extra for any shipment
Went here to notarise a document. The person placed the stamp in the wrong place despite the document having a specific spot clearly saying "notary seal". Asked him to place another stamp in the right place. He said he would charge me another $10 for the second stamp. This was after I had already paid $50 to notarise 5 documents. Horrible customer service and rude staff. Stay away from thus place.
Checked online to verify that the location was open until 7pm. I arrived at 6:49pm, package in hand, only to discover the place dark and locked up. Even the sign in the window listed the closing time as 7pm but they were gone. What a waste of time.
The store (and Cree the manager in particular) is awesome and takes great care of me. She just gave me some great advice today on how to save money on shipments in the future!
