Beijing Marriott Hotel City Wall Review

Good hotel if you are doing business. Nothing fancy.

The movement of the hotel is quite poor, like a maze.
The front desk staff had a bad attitude and was impatient.
The room is normal, the pillow has a smell, and the door is often stuck and needs to be knocked open.
Breakfast dishes are the same and are not worth the extra money to buy.

It has good facilities but details such as that the elevators are so far from the reception, that there are no armchairs or seats in the lobby and that the metro stations are not really close, negatively affect my recommendation

Excellent hotel, located between 2 subway stations which is very convenient in a big city like Beijing. The room is the bathroom has great size, plus we were lucky enough to receive an upgrade so we were put in a suite which was nothing but 2 rooms turned into one. The only minus is that few people at the front desk speak English. Hi

A a budget friendly 5 stars hotel . This hotel which used to be managed by Marriott. Everything is still decent enough at this price (rmb800 per night)

The rooms in this hotel are very dirty. We had 2 rooms and both were equally dirty. There were clumps of dust on the carpet. A knot of hair on a towel, the sheets had some sort of paper washed in with it, dust everywhere and certain fixture were crooked.

Not worth the star rating.
Breakfast very economical, for example there is no fresh coffee. In the lobby is not the opportunity to sit down. But there was a long black hair on one of the white pillows. We will take another hotel at the next visit.

Friendly staffs, strategic location and nice amenities.

The hotel is closed to metro station and station. It is convenient to take metro by walk in 8 mins. The hotel is a bit old but still feel comfortable.

Except for the shower head of the shower, which has been dripping cold water, there is nothing to be picky about. The restaurant on the second floor is not open. The counter service is very welcoming.

Look for cheap to go to the airport, leave the hotel parking left to the direction of Beijing Railway Station, approaching the square, there is a bus to the airport 50RMB. Every half hour. Early departure will start early.

I believe that at this moment the hotel is not experiencing its best period. We booked the stay with Agoda and asked for a quiet room ... we were given the room on the 20th floor but with a view of the train station going up and down, noisily, all day and all night! In addition to the fact that we had difficulty speaking in English, but this seems to be a common thing in China, we discovered on the spot that there were works on the structure, so in addition to the discomfort of dust and noise, the breakfast room was moved directly in the gym rooms with all the cleanliness and hygiene that comes with it !!! The breakfast was abundant for the Chinese, obviously little, for tourists. We have understood that throughout China they do NOT want tourists, they are closed and they want to stay. In the corridors there was a bad smell, the rooms, in addition to renovating the furniture, should be cleaned better, as soon as they arrived on the windows there were still oats of the previous ones, or even earlier, customers. The hotel is difficult to reach by taxi, better to take the meter which is about 10/15 minutes away. Small plus, perhaps unique, there are several restaurants in the ground floor where you can eat.

* poorly equipped weight area at the GYM (No bars, no free weights except light dumbbells, no pull ups bar, no dips machine)
* executive lounge serves poor variety of stale old food and poor choices of drinks.
* low occupation rate, the hotel feels deserted and depressing.

Reasonable international hotel with expected amenities.
