Excellent store. Didn't exist years ago when I first came to Akihabara. Cramped, but cozy and clean with polite staff. Less foot traffic here since it is off the main strip so it works. Lots of old PCs, retro systems, vintage art, and games. Also worth mentioning is the nostalgic smell. Like going up in your attic.

This is a relatively lesser-known retro game store and it is off the main Akihabara strip, and is located downstairs so no street level store front. Do check it out though because it is very unique selection of rare consoles and games. Prices are really good too, and we picked up some great bargains on Gameboy titles. Highly recommend this place!

A friend of mine had something to do with this shop, so when I was waiting for about 5 minutes near the ground entrance, the building manager told me that it was owned and I was kicked out onto the road.

The caretaker got in by bicycle, so when I went to the back (outside the entrance of the building), I was asked if there was anything to do in this building, and when I told myself that I was waiting for a friend, I had no use. I felt uncomfortable and was told to leave because it was my property.
For only 5 minutes, I was very uncomfortable waiting on the property that was stepped from the road.
Even when I moved to the road, I was being monitored.

I really love this shop I got my msx2 here and famicom they have high expertise and clearly know what they are doing so you can buy in comfort And know the hardware will work well unless stated otherwise. Great prices and very friendly staff only downside is their software and game selection for Nintendo and Sega is a little lacking but they really make up for it in hardware easily the best shop for msx and other retro Japanese computer/PC in Akihabara
