I looked into the NYE show which was sold out. I sent and email & was told there was a wait list but usually people don't cancel & it could last min. I took a chance & it paid off! I got a call a little over a week before NYE. Customer service was phenomenal. I wasn't overly excited about the dinner buffet but a buffet is a buffet is a buffet. There was plenty to choose from. The show was fantastic! Then there was some fun little dancing after, followed by a balloon drop & champagne toast. The event concluded with a breakfast buffet which I enjoyed more than the dinner buffet. All in all it was a wonderful experience & the price was amazing!!

Had a great time. After 47 years they have this routine down. Seat you quick. Open the buffet. Then clear and start the show. Staff are very friendly and attentive. Food is really good. Large salad bar and many options for main course and sides. Dessert is extra but still really good. The show is the main event and they have some very talented actors. Hard to find a better time in Indy.

The show, 42nd Street, was high energy and very entertaining. I'm a huge fan of tap dancing!!
The food was above average this time. My hubby and I give the salmon a double high five. The raspberry and lemon torte was a refreshing addition to the dessert tray.

The food and the program were excellent. He had a bit of a problem with the seating and the manager was very rude we ask for a manager he said he was the manager but he did not handle that situation well

The show is always phenomenal. The food not so much. Wait staff is always on par, attentive and personable. If I was rating them on food alone, it would definitely be a 1. Suggestions would be to stop overcooking the beef, add some seasonings to the potatoes and veggies. The desserts are usually okay but you could change them once in awhile for some more variety. Overall I go for the show, definitely not for the food.

Im so happy that my daughter Barbs first real play (not college produced, not mini theatre) experience was this one. Lil Shop Of Horrors is hand down an amazing play. The actors and crew did an amazing job bringing this as alive as you can ever expect and more. Audrey sounds exactly like the real Audrey its amazing. Audrey2 plant is absolutely astonishing. Thank you for the amazing hospitality your food was amazing and this chocolate raspberry filled cake was scrumptious. Perfect measures of everything. Clean bathrooms, actually beautiful interior and nice bowl sinks with cool barn like faucets. Everything is superb. Better then some NewYork theatres. I most definitely suggest you to go see it. Staff gave their
Looking forward to seeing Christmas Story (you'll shoot your eye out) here this season

We had a great time at your facility. The entertainment was amazing for our entire family and the buffet was really good. This was the first time that we had ever been there and we plan on going back in the future.

Quite an Innovative approach in telling Johnny Cash's life. The musical talent of each and everyone of the cast was striking. A little polishing from the opening night performance will give it five stars.

We have a VIP membership and we intend to buy another membership for next year. The entertainment is excellent. The actors they bring for the plays are very talented and play their parts wonderfully. The food on the buffet ranges from excellent to adequate. It is a really nice evening and a lot of fun. I would highly recommend this place. Overall it's worth the money. And they are very accommodating if you have to change your reservation, or if something comes up unplanned you need to add or subtract people from your reservation. My wife and I enjoy it, and there productions for children are nothing short of fantastic. It is well worth the money.

Great entertainment for all ages and wonderful for in-laws or out of town guest. The surrounding area does not do it justice. However inside it is like stepping into a little piece of Broadway.

I've been here several times. The performances can be spotty, and tonight's "Saturday Night Fever" was no exception. Parts were meh and others were absolutely electric. Most are very well done, but this was not entirely. One part seemed terribly contrived (and can't remember which, but was in the early first act). Overall, it was good.
The service is always top notch and the meal was very good. I was impressed with the beef stroganoff and the baked chicken. The breaded shrimp was what you could get from the Gorton's fisherman but I happen to like it, so it was fine. I'm looking forward to seeing American In Paris, Newsies and Phantom Of The Opera.

There should be a way to rate just the theatre (five glowing stars) separately from the food (one star). Great acting, great music, fun scripts, great choreography performed well - we have been delighted with the shows.

I don t understand the negative reviews. My family and I have been going here for years and feel that it has only gotten better with age. Yeah, it s a little pricey, but it s a dinner theater. If you go to any dinner theater in any big city it s going to be just as expensive if not more so. I ll admit that the food can be hit and miss, but I ve never had a meal that I thought was bad. The acting has always been above average and every show we have seen here has been enjoyable. Of course it s not going to be on the same level as a venue in NYC or Chicago, but it s still a good place to go for dinner and a show.

Pretty good options for dinner theater in the Indianapolis area. Prices are fairly reasonable. Food is typically above average and better than average when compared to your average banquet hall.

Acting for the plays has always been above average.

The musical ("Elf") was wonderfully enjoyable, and this assessment from someone who typically avoids such things! The pre-show buffet was kind of "up and down"; mostly very good food choices, with the notable exception of the roast beef... which was quite over cooked and dry (the flavor was right there though). Very good experience!

I will always have a place in my heart for this place. In full disclosure, I worked at Beef & Boards briefly in 1986 in reservations. I don't think I was there even a year and until 2017, I have not been there in over a decade.

Now that I've got that of off the way... here goes.

Indiana may not be New York, but the Beef & Boards is a great place to get your Broadway itch scratched. Their musicals are fantastic and when my kids were real young my parents took my sister and I plus my hubby and my kids to the show. It was a magical night and the singing was wonderful. If you weren't in the holiday spirit before the show, you definitely were by the time you left. My dad had season tickets in 2017 and 2018 and he took me to a few shows. Like I said, that was the first time I had gone in years... probably closer to 20 years!

Now the biggest complaint I had with B&B was the food, but WOW they've really turned that around. I thought the food was great in 2017/2018. There were many good options, very flavorful with tender meats and my favorite was the salad stuff. So if you went years ago, don't let the food deter you; give it another chance.

If you've never been, you are really missing out. It's a great night for date... especially since you get dinner and a show. I'm not sure there's really a bad place to sit and they offer matinee performances on the weekends. You do want to be sure you get there on time if you want to eat. Once they put the food away, you are out of luck. I think they offer water, coffee and tea for free. You can also buy sodas and alcoholic beverages.

So if you're a little tired of the classic movie at a large theater with multiple screens, give some real theater a try. If you like watching live performances, you'll love Beef & Boards

This was my 1st time at Beef & Boards and we saw The Little Mermaid. It was AMAZING! The vocal & dance/acrobatic talent were mind-blowing! The costumes were clever and beautiful. I even enjoyed the new songs & small story changes. I'm definitely purchasing a VIP pass for next year!!!

Wonderful show, super friendly staff, good food. I had low expectations for a buffet dinner, but they had some unique options and it was all good. The staff was very efficient and friendly. The waitress even checked in on us during intermission to see how our seats/view was because the box office had been concerned about us. (we had gotten our tickets at the last minute and had gotten the last seats with a partially obstructed view, but we were still able to see 99% of the show.)

The service staff are attentive and totally unobtrusive during the production. Our meal was simple but delicious. And the production! Wow! We came to see Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. This is our favorite and have seen many versions in various places. The talent on stage was certainly commendable but the Narrator, performed by Andrea Fleming, was flawless, awesome, gifted, fun to watch... We could go on. I can promise that I would happily travel and pay to see any production Andrea was featured in. A star.
