Children's series is a favorite day with my granddaughter! Productions lively enough to hold the attention of a 4 year old. Meeting the actors is a fun bonus at the end.

#BuddyBB tonight was Buddy, The Buddy Holly Story. It was powerful and a great time!
The production was great! The food really wasn't. Except for the prime rib! Before I came here the food was really praised which is why I'm so disappointed that none of it was good.
Food okay.... Service & Entertainment A+++++. Will most definitely return to see another show!
The shows are always great. What isn t great is the food. The vegetables are usually flavorless and mushy. The chicken breading was equally as mushy and practically falling off. It all tastes like it s been sitting under a warmer all day. A small glass of coke no bigger than what they would put orange juice in at a diner was $4. What was equally as frustrating was being told don t forget to tip your servers. They rely heavily on your generosity. Why is it the patron s responsibility to employee your wait staff? If you cannot afford to properly pay your employees, than you shouldn t be in business.
Like I said, the shows are always fantastic. Everything else leaves much to be desired.
Christmas show is always fun, seating was comfortable for being sold out. Food is just mediocre. Still worth doing once a year.
Have had season tickets for over 20 years. It's amazing what they can do with the size of their stage! Actors come from all over the US to work here. Variety of shows each season with a focus on musicals.
Buffet dinner is usually themed to the show although there is always beef - handcut for your preference.
Always a top notch show. Food is good but the show is the star!
We were there with family, 16 people in all, to celebrate a milestone birthday. The show Elf: the Musical, was very good. I was impressed by most of the acting, ALL of the singing, and some of the dancing. There were some really talented vocalist in the group.
The food was meh. The roast beef looked good and had good flavor but was very tough. The telapia was barely warm. The asparagus was tender and not over cooked but the streamed broccoli was mush. Over all I would give the food a C+.
The wait staff was adequate and worked efficiently but in the five or so hours we were there, I only saw one person who regularly smiled and acted like she enjoyed her job. They all seemed defeated or discouraged or something so not at all warm or friendly but still professional.
3stars seems a little generous but 2 is unquestionably low. If the food were much improved I would lean heavily toward 4stars but still mostly due to the performance.
Fancy and nice and quick And the quickest performers and I love the food too and good for kids
Extremely well served & entertained- enjoyed every moment
The service was excellent, the show was excellent, the dinner was excellent
Wonderful time - the show was great and I cant wait to go back!
Mamma Mia is the most recent show I saw here. Production was AMAZING. Beef and Boards is in a weird location that I always forget it s still in business, but seeing the production I know why! Very talented actors. Reason for 3 stars is the food. Not great quality or options. Amazing staff, though!! Service was great!
The roast beef was outstanding and the musical was very well staged and lots of fun. A very enjoyable evening.
After the tenth cup of coffee, the waitress ever so kindly decided to "ACCIDENTALY" spill schorching hot coffee on me
Excellent production and the service staff are the best.
Great venue. Food is fair. Some shows are great and some are good. Great seats no matter where you are located.
Very nice venue the food was good the show was excellent in the quality of the production was outstanding.
We saw Grease there last night. We were running late because of weather and we live over a hour away. The staff was so friendly. They offered to make us a plate so we wouldn't miss dinner. Gave us the option to move dates (seats wouldn't have been as good) but they offered. When we got there, the server was so friendly. Told us she made us a plate but we still had time to make our own. She got our drinks right away. Thank you for such friendly staff and the show was amazing! Such talented cast! We smiled the whole time we were there!
It's always good. The ghost Musical presentation was really enjoyable and well put-together.
Love this place. Entertainment is top notch, food and service excellent.
Exceptional cast and great service. A good value for your money.
Awesome time with the family! Can't wait to go back!!
The shows are always great and the dinner is yummy! We have a membership and love going throughout the year.
Fun dinner theater, difficult for those with wheelchairs, canes, but the staff is very willing to accommodate and assist! Good shows and an average buffet, coffee tea included, other drinks extra
A must see! Dinner and a live play! We go as a group of 4 and enjoy the plays. The buffet is served before the show and its stocked with great food and choices! Not a place for small children but they do offer special plays for them on certain dates!
Fun experience to see a live show, but im pretty sure they just serve variations of the same dinner every time. Ive been here three times and it was pretty much the same buffet options.
Adorable! Parking a great compared other theaters in Indianapolis. Venue is small so everyone has a great view of the stage
First time we have been here. A very nice venue. The food was good. The play was excellent. Our seats were good.
Loved Shrek!! The food was great, the servers were gracious, it was fun!
The buffet was great, the musical we saw was fantastic and the place was beautiful!!!
Cindy's best-kept entertainment secret. Come see a show.
Fun evening, good food and service and very entertaining musical.
Food is GREAT. Love the shows and hospitality. Thank you
We are VIP members and enjoy the productions and the dinner theater experience. Plenty of parking and easy to access.
Great acting Great service from servers Seating couldn't have been better Nice atmosphere for being with friends Loved the whole experience EXCEPT Food was horrible!
The Christmas show was fantastic! I highly recommend!
Annie was amazing, had a wonderful time with my kiddo.
Same food as we ate yrs ago, service was good entertainment was great.
we saw MAMA MIA the other afternoon and thought it was one of the finest productions of the show yet. Well worth seeing and the cast was super. You could understand their singing and hear it easily. The orchestra was also super. Don't miss this show.
We are VIP members and enjoy coming with our friends to spend a fun evening. However, the staff seems to dominate our time with constantly coming back to our table wanting to remove a plate, silverware, cup .. etc we barely started eating!!
By the end of our meal I m sooo annoyed I won t even hardly respond because I ve been interrupted so much.
The tables are way too close together when you have people that come in different sizes and don t want to give up any space.
Not sure we will be renewing after many years of coming!!
Great value. I have always enjoyed going to Beef & Boards. Last night my wife and saw West Side Story. The roast beef is always excellent; the rest of the meal was good. The show was great. Great value. An awesome Indianapolis institution.
I really enjoy this venue. The show today was Buddy Holly and it was great! Beef N Boards never disappoints. The talent they bring to their shows is top notch. I highly recommend this place for a fun day/evening out!
I absolutely loved the show! The cast was amazing! The meat was wonderful. The rest of the food seemed bland to me. When I go back I will make sure to get better seats though! We were at table for 8 & in the very back, which meant we had to look over 3 people to see the stage.
The entertainment is great but the food is not worthy of the price
Dinner and a show at its finest in this area. First the food was buffet style, with that being said it was actually pretty good considering. The show is what really makes this place shine. I saw Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat. Every performance was top notch, even by the extras. The scenes were well made and immersive and in no way looked low budget. This is an excellent place for a date, anniversary dinner, or even a special outing for the holiday season.
great first impression! very friendly staff. delicious food. very clean. show was amazing!
I love beef and boards and was really looking foeward to seeing Saturday Night Fever. However I was not impressed with the show.
Always a good time here! Love doing girls night out or celebrating birthdays.
"42nd Street" at Beef and Boards Dinner Theater tonight was excellent! Well done -- amazing dancing and singing -- how can they do both and not be breathless!
Good show; good food; felt safe with their sanitization practices.
Nice place for dinner and live show. Down side cramped seating
So much fun! A great way to just chill and hang out with friends and family. Amazing entertainment, food, and a nice reason to dress up and have a million songs stuck in your head.
Plays are Great! Well done, good sound. Good is OK at best. Servers work hard but too few. Would definitely go again.
I've been to Beef & Boards dinner theater a handful of times in the last 25 years. The shows are pretty good. Definitely better than most high school level shows I've seen (I've seen some really great ones) but also definitely not Broadway level...pretty much what one would expect. Some have been better than others but I love theater so even not so great shows are still entertaining but at the prices B&B charge I expect them to be good. For the most part, they have been.
The buffet dinner has stayed pretty much the same over the 25 years. Salad bar, bread, sides, a couple of meat options & the roast beef carving station. Pretty standard. Alchohol and desserts are extra.
A table for two also costs extra. I'm not sue why, as the table is half the size. Since we were just 2, we had table mates. I'm an introvert, so, that's not my favorite.
Very good entertainment and food, but really lacks in legroom space.
My wife and I have been going to Beef and Boards for eight years enjoying the Beef and Boards Christmas show. Always fun and the food was always good. Can anyone tell me why they have decided to cancel the Beef and Boards Christmas show?
Overall good experience. The food was fair and typical of dinner theater. The performance was very good. I liked the small venue, had great seats.
Show was colorful and entertaining. Food was good but the roast beef was raw not rare.
It was a fun experience for the whole 7th and 8th grade band classes
Now showing Mama Mia, one of the best performances we've seen. Always enjoy the shows and dinner. Such a great night out. Eight different shows each year.
The acting and the show was excellent. Food was good. For the price of the show drinks and dessert should be included in the price of the ticket.
Third time here sum of the food subpar overall good and service is excellent .
