Unbeatable customer service! Goal from start to finish was to assure that I was getting the type of window, finish and design that I was looking for. I am extremely satisfied with the quality of the window. It has a solid clean appearance and very easy to operate. I would highly recommend these windows. A special thank you to Sean who went above and beyond assisting me at all times!

Great product: wood interior looks way better than any vinyl option I saw, and the fiberglass exterior should hold up to Chicago weather. Good installation experience with their recommended contractors as well.

Just had these installed on my mother's house. I will be buying for my own house in the next few months.

Couldn t perform better through a Minnesota winter! These replaced the windows originally installed in our home and we couldn't be happier. From installation by the guys at Craftsman s Choice to their ease of use and insulation value not to mention the cost saving over other brands makes for a great value that we couldn t beat.

Unfortunately I cannot give this product more than 1 star. After 4 windows were professionally installed I waited the proscribed time to allow the windows to settle and all install materials to harden, but immediately had trouble opening and especially closing them, which continues to this day. The installer insisted that after the windows had time to "break-in" the problem would fix itself, but it never has. I also get condensation on each of the 4 windows throughout the year depending on the weather. The only positive is that I didn't have my entire house done in these, but instead waited to see what the result would be. I have since had all other windows replaced with another brand and can simply say, spend the money on a mainstream, higher quality window - otherwise you are waiting your time and money.

We replaced all the original windows in our home, which was built in 1935, so it was needed. After looking at 5 suppliers, we chose Beechworth, for the quality of the product and the detail-orientation of the installer / contractor. We could not be more pleased! They seal tight when closed, work smoothly, and look great.

Dated- 04-May-2016

I got the windows done through Performance Fiberglass in Michigan ( metro Detroit) for about 19 windows and 1 sliding patio door.

No doubt they look very beautiful and quality work with nice craftsmanship.

It costed me about $21,000 even for everything.

But why I am writing 4 stars is because it didn't meet my expectation for noise reduction in my master bedroom which I was told by salesman that it will work even though I stay in very quiet neighborhood ( Suburb).

So everytime a car goes by my house I hear that bump it gets from the joints between the concert in front of my house hence for this reason I would give the windows 4 stars.

I will update my review once they survive the winter next year.

We replaced all 61 windows in our 23-year old home...

We replaced all 61 windows in our 23-year old home in April 2017. We have now gone through all four seasons of the year, and report that our new fiberglass Beechworth windows are fantastic.

The original windows were custom sized to fit architect's plans, mostly rectangular, with some semi-round and odd shaped. We had rotting problems with the exterior wood. We cared for the windows properly, but the original paint did not adequately protect from Chicago area climate.

We investigated replacements, visited many showrooms, and narrowing down selection to all-fiberglass exterior with real wood interior, able to be sanded and stained to match current interior woodwork. Most our windows are tall casement, and we desired a multi-point locking and sealing system with single lever action. Although sensitive to price, cost was not as important as: quality, high thermal performance, durability, long-term life expectancy and warranty, and ability to retrofit our present window configuration.

Some companies we investigated had excellent reputations and quality windows, but were unable to offer fiberglass/wood windows of non-rectangular design. Beechworth, on the other hand, has developed fiberglass manufacturing techniques which allowed them to exactly match original window shapes. This was important, because we wanted to keep all existing window treatments and match interiors. Furthermore, the Beechworth windows came loaded with the upscale type of features we were seeking: all-fiberglass exterior, all-wood interior, excellent insulated frame and sash designs, all-stainless steel hardware for locking mechanisms, choice of interior hardware styles and colors, upscale screen options (for better summer visibility), and high thermal performance (meeting latest Energy Star ratings) without sacrificing clarity or light transmission.

We visited at least a dozen showrooms around the greater Chicago area, attended many home-improvement shows, and spoke directly with representatives from each window manufacturer we considered. We purchased our Beechworth windows through the Warrenville showroom of Olson Windows, a distributor and installer for the majority of window manufacturers we considered, including Beechworth.

As part of due-diligence, we also visited the James Hardie / Beechworth R&D center in Naperville, where we spoke with the research engineers, observed the windows development and testing process, and became convinced that Beechworth was a leading-edge innovator in fiberglass windows for commercial and residential use.

Kevin Diebol, of Olson Windows, was an exemplary salesman, source of information, and project manager for our window replacement. He worked with Beechworth to design 43 window packages to replace our 61 windows. (e.g. one package contained two casement windows, a picture window, and a transom). Replacement of packages results in better seals and long-term durability of adjacent windows, as well as reducing cost of replacing windows individually.

The entire process of removing old windows, installing new, sanding, staining, and cleanup was completed in three weeks by a team of six installers, led by George and Tammy, and periodically inspected by Kevin. Window treatments (shades and blinds) were removed from our old window trims and reinstalled on new window trims.

Installation was superb, with clean-up every day, so that our home was livable and water-tight by the time crews left daily. Thank goodness, because a few days it rained.

Beechworth staff from the R&D center came to inspect the job after completion, made some minor adjustments, responded to queries, and took photos (with permission).

The last phase of this project was to have our EIFS exterior repaired and properly flashed. That contractor was included and coordinated in this project from the start.

Our windows have performed flawlessly and have kept us comfortable in all seasons. They are wonderful upscale windows, befitting our home, and the best we could have imagined at any price.

And I'm able to set my a/c 5 degrees higher on super hot day and maintain the same level of cooling in my house. Highly recommend these windows. the windows are advertised as premium windows but don't be fooled by this assertion. i bought the package of hardie siding and the beechworth windows. we had about 18 windows installed and only a few operated correctly. some needed to be replaced and some still don't oeprate correctly. the company reps have been responsive but its hard to fix junk. soft pine doesn't stain well and the soft pine should not be used with the heavy triple pane glass. junk junk junk.
AFTER MY POST, ERIC O. (CHIEF EXEC @ BEECHWORTH) STEPPED IN. HE PROVIDED REPLACEMENT WINDOWS AND A TEAM TO CORRECTLY INSTALL THEM. THEY ALL WORK NOW. THANKS TO ERIC.

Great install by the Window Shop. They are a great Beechworth partner and represent the brand exceptionally well. Beechworth windows are not cheap, but they are well worth the cost. As with most things in life you get what you pay for. They seal very tightly, great energy efficiency ratings, and very easy to open and clean. We replaced 11 openings with Beechworth and I couldn't be happier.

We had all new Beechworth windows installed in March of 2017. It is now September and they are wonderful. Very low maintenance, high quality, easy to clean, and they look great with the new siding and other features we added to the house. And the quiet is incredible. So far, we can't be more pleased. We even had a couple minor difficulties with screens and both times a Beechwood rep was available to assist with screen replacements. Very competent, professional, and friendly staff! Thank you, Beechwood! We will be recommending you to other customers.....

I recently bought 9 windows from Beechworth Windows. Everyone I dealt with was extremely nice and professional. They answered all of my questions promptly. I couldn't be happier with their customer service. The windows look AMAZING! I LOVE them! The price range was comparable to other quotes that we received, except for the fact that Beechworth Windows were fiberglass exterior and finished wood interior, while the others quotes were not. For me the choice was clear. They have made my house look so much nicer. My old windows were from the 60's and were drafty and ugly. I have only had the new windows for a week but I can already feel the difference that they have made. The house stays cooler longer and the air conditioner is not running as much as it used to. It has also made a big difference in the noise level both inside and out. I live near O'Hare Airport and you can no longer hear the planes/traffic from outside, and from outside you can no longer hear my 3 kids and barking dog! The installation went well; they delivered and installed my windows the same day in only about 7 hours. They put plastic on the floors and surrounding areas and when they were done there was no mess to clean. AWESOME! I would recommend this company to anyone looking for new windows.
