Lunch at Bedrock feels like having a fantastic dinner in a high-class restaurant. The ambient is perfect for couple to enjoy a meal together. The pita bread tasted fluffy. A big bowl of onion soup full of ingredients is good for 2 people sharing. The prime ribeye is heavenly and lastly the apple crumble is so delicious to complete the whole course.
Excellent food and wine. The service was fantastic, and I would especially like to single out our server Meet for his incredible attention to detail. He was attentive without being intrusive, and made sure we were enjoying the meal throughout. He even discretely prepared a cake for my son's 18th birthday even though we had not mentioned it to him. It was a lovely surprise. Already a fine restaurant, but will be sure to return on account of his great service.
Enjoyed my experience here and the service is excellent. Enjoyed the unique bread with garlic and butter. The beef here is very tender and well done - especially the pepper steak! I enjoyed the side dishes like the truffle fries and Mac & More
For the starters, the bone marrow is always good and well prepared. Crab cakes are also filled with crab meat and not starchy. One of the best side to get is the Mac n Cheese. Very buttery and the cheese crust on top is crispy and seasoned just nice.
Steak is decent but there are many places around with good quality steaks nowadays. Don t expect to be blown away with the steak but they are good. Focus more on the other food than the steaks.
Decent place for a good steak. Special callout to the mac and cheese - one of the better ones in Singapore. Had the cap steak and special Argentinian this time l, both perfectly cooked.
Pretty good place for set lunches. Steaks are really nicely done though the cooking is a little too oily. Staff service is friendly and efficient. Overall, good value.
I especially like the simple wood centric furniture and setting in comfortable lighting that is dim but not too dark. We had Oysters and beef carpaccio as starters. Oysters were plump, with a slight crunch, just the right brininess and sweetness balance for me. The smoked tomato soup was right, smoky from the moment it reached the table to the final drop, which leaves a lingering sense. Then comes the bedrock pepper steak, wagyu ribeye, 350 days grain fed. We had it medium rare, simply prepared with sauce by the side, which brought out the rich savoury punch. Eat it without the sauce first, I recommend. Dessert was bombe Alaska, pretty, and pretty rich. a little too creamy for me. I like the experience of just looking at the flames... overall experience 4.4 star over 5. Service was excellent, we got a Black Forest mouse on the house for a birthday celebration.
Very pleasant 1st experience at Bedrock. Service was attentive and the staff presented a complimentary dessert for my daughter's birthday. They took great care to decorate it with the birthday toppers that I brought along as I had originally planned to give her a surprise. We had 2 cuts of meat and both were excellent. The sides (truffle fries & mac n cheese) were very tasty. Highly recommended! We will visit again for another special occasion :)
Great restaurant conveniently located right above Somerset MRT station, beside Somerset 313. The ambience in the restaurant was nice and classy. And the service staff was friendly and attentive too.
Food was also good. Especially the beef. It was cooked to perfection. Nicely seared medium rare steak! Price was on the high side but with the Entertainer 1-1, it wasn t too bad.
Will definitely come back again in future!
A nice and cosy ambient for birthday celebration with my partner. Food was amazing and above our expectations. We ordered ribeye cap steak (cooked medium) with red wine sauce and Mac & cheese (both are recommended dishes by our server and was very satisfied with it). Both me and my partner were overwhelmed with the food served; really unexpected both are savory. And, we were greeted with excellent service throughout the meal by Meet. Thumbs up for him! At the end of the meal, we were caught on surprise with a complimentary birthday cake under the house. Thank you for a great meal experience at Bedrock.
