looooooovvvvvvveeeeee this store!!!!! it's like toyrus for the grown and sexy and outragious in a good way of course lmao. i'm always a regular in boystown despite me stayin in the south burbs. i usually come down here during the summer when pride and market days take place. the displays caught my eyes and in it, it's like a whole new world of chock full of wigs, shoes, different costumes as well as other things not for the fainted heart. this is my go-to store whenever i have some money to my name. sometimes the co-workers r busy wit whatever but most of the time, they answer questions and help u out when needed. can't wait to go back for my pride needs and beyond. check this place out everybody!!!!!!!!!!!

I ALWAYS find something I'm looking for at this store and even sometimes even better things I didn't know I wanted! Greatly recommend this store for all your accessories needs for all kinds of occasions, ESPECIALLY Halloween!

Awesome selection of clothes though the quality can vary if you're not paying attention. Nevertheless, the place is worth a visit when going up and down Halsted.

Eye popping clothes and costumes smack in the middle of Boystown. Also visit their vintage shop downstairs. Attentive staff always willing to help pick out something for you.

Great cheap awesome kitchy stuff. I got the best sunglasses and plaid pants there. $8 and $30. One star off because the staff watches you WAY too closely and makes you feel uncomfortable. Had a bitchy sales girl with an attitude, no thanks!

This is a must-visit shop every time I go to Chicago, which is annually. Its full of amazing clothes and accessories (new and vintage) for some the stuff of fantasy and imagination, for others the lifeblood of fun and colourful dressing. Downstairs is a treasure trove of vintage (you need escorted, which is fine) Upstairs from shoes (old and new, including boots designed for drag queens I'm sure) through wigs, furs, costumes and wild funky clothes this is a paradise for the people who want to dress up, and its not expensive at all. Never had any problem with the staff - always found them attentive - check your bag when you arrive. Great place - makes me smile every time I visit (every year for 10 years now) and I always come away with something for a great occasion. #Beatnix

This is a fantastic costume shop with a mix of vintage (in the basement, must ask and be escorted) to off the shelf, plus they have everything to outfit you for your event from shoes, to make up & wigs to accessories. I have purchased many things here over the years, most recently this past weekend when Dylan was awesome in helping me select options for a 1970s party. He is so creative (and I later learned that he is responsible for their window displays!) and brought me lots of options from high-waisted denim bellbottoms to a Stevie Nicks inspired getup (which i left with!)
