The most important thing about staying at a resort...

The most important thing about staying at a resort is it s cleanliness, comfort, and food.
The hospitality here is beyond my expectations. The entire staff was extremely attentive, kind, and friendly. The housekeeping is the same way and they do an amazing job cleaning the rooms. The food was great and visitors were all kind to each other. The bathroom is basic but very clean and I do suggest you bring your own pillow because theirs is hard. No place is perfect but this is close to it. Now it is our family go to spot. I have to emphasize once again how FRIENDLY the entire staff was and that is front desk, housekeeping, and the workers in the restaurants ( The Grill and Trails End Cafe)

We enjoyed our time here and the outdoor (COVID friendly) activities. We had a great time, but felt that the website slightly oversells the property and offerings. Rooms were spacious and clean-ish (very dusty, which make me wonder how "clean" everything was). Activities were good for younger kids (under 10). Dining options are very limited and difficult with a picky eater. Staff was the highlight of the trip - all very friendly and helpful. I would give a 3.5 star rating. We weren't disappointed with our stay, but we're not counting down the days to our next visit. With some easy improvements, this would easily be a 5-start resort.

Overdue review .I visited Bear Creek Mountain resort with my family. We had an amazing time. The ticket process could be a smoother but overall we enjoyed ourselves. Snow-tubing was so much fun, the ride up to the top of the hill can take a while but it s worth it. Holding the tube as you go up is slightly annoying because you have to keep your balance all while holding a giant tube and the bottom to the tube .talk about juggling.
We also did snowboarding which was quite the experience no broken bones just sore behinds and hurt feet from those boots ..we had a lot of fun and went back almost 2-3 weeks later. The second time the snow well ice was a bit bumpier while tubing but we still enjoyed ourselves. Will definitely visit again.

We stayed here for our 10 year anniversary to try and have a special getaway. My husband and I work opposite schedules, so we rarely get quality time together. When we arrived, our room hadn t been properly cleaned. My husband found false eyelashes, hair clips and there was someone else s hair on the couch among other things. He told the front desk and Rachel at the front desk said she would look into it , so we left for a few hours. When we returned the room still hadn t been cleaned. We went down to the front desk and she said someone would be up right away- our room wasn t cleaned until the next day around 2pm. When we tried to book a couples massage (the whole reason we came to a spa resort) we were told there was no availability for our entire stay. No appointments for facials or other treatments either. How is it that people come to a spa resort, but are unable to get any spa services?! They did offer us a single person massage at 7pm, but the whole point of this trip was for my husband and I to spend time with one another. While I appreciate them trying to accommodate us, we felt completely dismissed. 10 year anniversary and there was nothing special about our stay. The only positive thing was our anniversary dinner at Savory Grille down the road. First and last time we will be coming to Bear Creek.

My sister had her wedding here, and the wedding planner Lisa was just awful. She got paid good money to basically do nothing. We were told she would check on us throughout the morning and afternoon before the wedding started. We did not see or hear from her until about an hour before the wedding ceremony. We had no idea where we were supposed to go half the time because she was no where to be found. Then, after the ceremony and reception, we were told we would have the bar open till about 1:00 am because that s something they paid extra for. We confirmed with multiple employees that it would be open late because once again, they paid extra to extend the time. Once 11:45 hit, the bar manager proceeded to tell us that they were closing because they weren t making enough money. And after multiple people arguing for 15 mins they finally decided to stay open. I am appalled at how we were treated and my sister deserved better on her wedding day. Please don t book with this place they aren t worth all the money they charge.

My stepdaughter had her wedding here. When her block for rooms opened up months ago, I asked for a two queen with a pull-out couch suite near the Bride as I am her parent and would be needing to help her get dressed. I was assured when I booked my room months ago, that I would most definitely be somewhere on the same floor with her. I wasn't even in the same section of the hotel as her. She was on the 6th floor which would be the South Tower. I was in the early 300s which is in the North Tower. I had to go down one elevator across the first floor and then up another elevator to be able to get to my blushing Bride stepdaughter. Oh and I only got a two queen bedroom. There was no pull out couch as previously promised which was a part of the plan as I had the grandchildren both nights. This caused my adult son and I to have to share a bed and my two grandbabies to have to share a bed instead of trying to split it up a little bit with the couch bed that I had requested months prior.

Other than the false promise of being near, so I could help her get ready for her wedding - which is a pretty big day, and the literal immediate family of the Bride being crammed together even though we requested reasonable accommodations months in advance - absolutely everything was perfect. The staff was wonderful. My step daughter's wedding was absolutely gorgeous. I kept thanking all of them.

Beautiful resort. We had a two queen suite with a sofa bed for 4 of us, so there was alot of room. There was some dust on lamp shades and door jambs and the carpet didn't feel very clean. But I would definitely stay here again.

Checking in seemed to be hell for every guest and no one seemed to care. Hotel staff did not seem to work with anyone and the front desk manager liked to make it seem like your own fault. Nice looking place but they need to work on staffing

What resort runs out of champagne for a wedding?? Good staff until you get to the management. Go buy more champagne and make your bride happy. Go anywhere else to get your money worth. "We have more weddings coming up" was the management's excuse. I promise I will refer everyone I know away from your C- resort.
