I was so relieved as soon as I made it to Beach House. The people there introduced themselves to me and welcomed me into the community. I felt like I was part of something for the first time in a long time. I'm so grateful for everyone there. I have 2 years sober now. This is the best program!!!
I give it one star because there were actually some good people there. My therapist was amazing, the groups were horrible. Many times you were spoken to like a child. We watched YouTube videos, or listened to someone read a handout. The clinical director humiliated me when I tried to explain my reasoning for leaving at 21 days. There was no empathy given and she basically told me she didn t care. If she didn t, her body language did. We went to the beach each morning, but apparently COVID has stopped them from caring about structuring any types of activities for patients. I came close to loss of job because there is no time to use your phone, unless you had an accommodating therapist. I could organize things much better I feel. There was a fight on campus and the patient was encouraged to stay. I had a nurse ask me to destroy medications while in detox, on benzos. I complied, but later found out he did so without my signature. The stress from techs and others is highly noticeable, apparently there is a change in ownership going on. Many times I was walked in on changing, one tech even came back to my shower. If you pitched a fit to leave you got a trip to McDonald s or cigarettes. If you went about it rationally, it was a headache. They never clean the pool. It is obvious it is a money bin. Super scary as a mom and educator, I worry that if this has 5 starts how bad a rehab could get.
Beach House saved my life! I had nowhere to turn during the worst of my addiction, but luckily a friend of the family who went to Beach House pointed me in the right direction. Beach House admitted me back in 2018 and gave me the care I desperately needed. The staff is exceptional and the was therapy life-changing. From day one I felt like I was finally on the right path in my life and have been improving everyday since. I am duly grateful for Beach House and whenever I see someone struggling I advise them to follow the same path as me. I am beyond satisfied with Beach House to this day. Thank you!!

Beach House Center for Recovery saved my son s life. He has completely turned his life around and is now helping others turn their lives around too. I cannot say enough great things about this facility. The staff, the support, and the surroundings are all top notch.
The nurses, the staff, the technicians and the medical team we re all top-notch very helpful and very loving. If you re looking to clean your life up and end the long cycle of substance abuse I only recommend Beach House. They encompass the 12 step program and they are about the evidence of the disease of addiction.
I went to beach house unexpectedly, but looking back after going through their 50 day program I can honestly say I'm so grateful for the positive experience along with the staff and friends I made during the time. At my lowest point they gave me a sense of a second family when I needed it the most. The campus is very clean and up-kept. I would recommend to anyone who's serious about getting help.

My daughter was there a few months ago and when she left, she brought home a boy she met there. They had developed an ongoing relationship and the counselors were well aware of it. I had no idea it was co-ed.
Allowing addicted males and females in recovery to be together is outrageous as they very vulnerable at this time and obviously struggle with making good choices.
When we discovered that he took an UBER to our daughter's house we immediately called the facility only to be told that their patients need to live in the "real world."
Well, about 1 month ago, my daughter was beaten so severely by the guy from The Beach House Rehab she ended up in the Trauma Center for several days. We learned that this guy had a WARRANT out for his arrest as well as prior battery charges. Hey Beach House, No BACKGROUND checks? No, they just want YOUR checks!!
Amazing facility! I can t even put into words what Beach House has done for us and our family. The groups were amazing and the facility was super clean from top to bottom. I am very pleased and happy to say that our family member celebrates a year of sobriety. I have to say I am saddened by some other reviews and question what happened. Throughout the staff communicated with us and our family and everything to our expectations was completely. I would highly recommend Beach House!
They said my insurance would cover my treatment, when in reality I am now facing a bill for 268 thousand dollars. Be careful. Don't let them fly you there and take advantage of you!
