What an amazing find! After spending the night in Florence on our way between Florida and Virginia, we hoped to find a decent espresso before we got back on the road. Walking into Bean Bar I was greeted and engaged in coffee conversation. Counter Culture Beans available for purchase and being pulled tells you these folks are serious about their coffee. The coffee they serve with enthusiasm and detail shows enthusiasm that makes them worth a trip. We love this place!

Found this little coffee shop while visiting from Colorado, and wow hands down the best coffee I've ever had in my life. Friendly staff, love the flow of the shop. Definitely coming back next time I'm in town

Hands-down best coffee and service you can find anywhere. You ll be let down by other coffee shops after going here, but don t let that stop you.

Coffee, service and place is wonderful! Pastries are to die for. Very intent with keeping customers and employees safe during this time. Exactly what Florence needed here.

Bean Bar is amazing from the menu, to the design, and the atmosphere. Every person I interacted with was so welcoming and friendly. I m not a coffee drinker but I love tea and Bean Bar s tea was so good that I had to try a second one while I was there (highly recommend the hibiscus tea and the mint green tea)! Also, their homemade pop tarts will make you forget about store brand. I also went back for a second one of these because they were so delicious. Definitely check Bean Bar out, I can t say enough good things!

We loved the Bean Bar. Besides the delicious hot chocolate and churro latte with oat milk, we enjoyed the chocolate croissant and s'mores pastry. The whole vibe and decor of this place make it very special. They also follow safety protocols very well, making all guests feel comfortable.

It felt like a chic popular place and yet held such a homey and kind atmosphere contrary to other standard coffee shops!
The coffeeshop itself is stunning in design and the effort put into it by the owners is so incredibly evident!
The service was absolutely outstanding, as the door was kindly held with a smile upon entrance and every team member we talked to was not only helpful but went out of their way to take care of us!

Delicious coffee and highly knowledgeable staff. Amazing find in South Carolina and way worth the small 3 mile trip off of 95! Pastries looked homemade and awesome too...butI am watching my calories since I ordered the Churo Latte!

Hands down the best around!! The owners and staff are such wonderful and enthusiastic people with a strong love and commitment to delivering high quality and unique beverages. They make syrups from scratch and use top notch coffee beans and milks. We always feel good getting a drink there and supporting an amazing coffee shop they have created with the perfect ambiance. This is big city high-end coffee shop in Florence and we are blessed to have that to enjoy! Thanks guys!

Coffee .what a great way to bring people together. Bean Bar .in Florence, there s no better place for it. Regardless of your shape, size, color, gender, lifestyle choice, occupation or background, you will feel welcome here with a warm smile from the owners David and Malena Brown. It may be hard to see with the current face mask requirement, but look closely and you can see it in their eyes (as well as their friendly and joyful staff). Meredith, Jacob and I have been a frequent customer of theirs since they opened. Our respective families couldn t be more different, but I can tell you that when we visit, it just feels like home! They show their appreciation of my military service, by providing a generous discount towards our purchase. We in return show our gratitude, by helping their business out whenever we can. You see, Bean Bar is a special place that serves our community well. They give and we give back, we speak from time to time (when their busyness of schedule allows), and we always leave there from our visits a little happier than before. We are very grateful that Florence has a place like this to enjoy. If you haven t tried it, then I highly recommend you do. It will give you a sense of community and togetherness, no matter who you are!

First time going to Bean Bar today. Very impressed with the facility. Very clean and inviting space. Customer service was great from opening the door for me, easy order process, and quick service for getting my coffees and getting out. We ordered a vanilla latte and mocha (both with oat milk) and there was a big difference in taste. the vanilla and chocolate in the drinks had a very rich flavor, not just a sweetener. we can really taste the quality of the ingredients in our drinks. This will be our go to spot for coffee from now on. I am also going to try the coffee beans sold there for brewing at home when we can't get by in the mornings before work. Highly recommend!

So impressed by my first visit!
Had been looking forward to stopping in and showing support for this business since watching it grow. Finally tried it out this morning and had an awesome experience. The exterior and interior design is adorable. Southern chic hipster feel. The staff was incredible. Kind, friendly, happy, and showed genuine care for the customer. And the product was delicious!!

Only downside was lack of size options.
Would GLADLY pay $6.5 or $7 to support this business and get the 20-24oz iced coffee option that is available at the competition for $5-$6

Bean Bar is my favorite coffee place in town! My husband loves it too and it's a great place to sit outside and relax with a cup of the most amazing coffee. Everyone is very friendly and knowledgeable. Plus, it's very clean! I highly recommend it!

This is the best place I ve ever been for coffee. The atmosphere is amazing and has the friendliest staff. I wish the best for this business. Please come and enjoy the same experience that I have. It s definitely the best place for all coffee lovers. There should be extra stars for places like this.

Super friendly and helpful staff, clean environment, lovely patio to sit and enjoy the fall weather. My husband got a cold brew with cream and he loved it. Great flavored coffee. I got the honey vanilla latte and unfortunately did not like it. The lavender flavor was overpowering and I couldn't drink it. We would definitely return but I would probably go with something more basic like a vanilla latte.

Super good coffee and friendly staff! I love walking in and getting greeted by name :) The outdoor and indoor atmosphere is perfect for both studying and meeting up with friends! Very clean environment and apparent that the staff cares about their customers safety (COVID-19).

Coffee tastes amazing. Food is very over priced for the portion size. Entry exit door set up is silly.

Finally got a chance to stop in over the weekend and was so happy to see another wonderful, locally owned coffee shop. Hands-down, the best cup of coffee I ve had since the Roasterie in KCMO. The fact that we have it here in Florence is an absolute boon. My husband got a cappuccino and he was also very, very happy. Thanks to their COVID efforts, I felt safe popping in with my kid. Hopefully we will get a chance to enjoy their porch one day after things get under control. It s so nice to have a place where anyone in the community is able to feel welcomed and comfortable - to be able to support a local business and keep my dollars in FC? Even better.

The customer service and quality of beverages is exceptional! The treats they have are great too, I've tried almost everything so far! Plus - everything is organic and clean. Plus plus - the building is gorgeous.

The store is so cute and super clean! Everyone was practicing safety procedures which is really nice to see! I ended up getting an ice vanilla latte and it was absolutely perfect! They were extremely welcoming and quick! I ll be going back again soon!

This is more than just a coffee shop.. its a coffee experience. It is commendable to open up a new business even more commendable to do so during a pandemic. The bean bar is a beautiful, safe spot, to mingle, meet up with friends, and have a really good cup of coffee. Each craft drink is well balanced and consistently made well everytime. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. The covid 19 precautions they are taking make you feel very comfortable to just relax and enjoy your time there. Thanks for taking a risk pursuing your dream and bringing this beautiful business to the community.

Great coffee, just beware if you like half&half in your coffee, they don't have any. I've never been to a coffee shop that didn't have half&half!

Just what Florence needed! A beautiful couple passionate about the quality, care, charisma that all go into a most OUT OF THIS WORLD coffee experience! Malena and David have perfectly crafted the Counter Culture experience down to a T(or tea )! All products are made with clean, organic and ethically sourced ingredients and made in-house or locally by their extremely talented baker! They offer gluten-free and vegan options! AND OAT MILK! It s a real game changer for all coffee and espresso products! When I walk in the door I m greeted with a gaggle of lovely people so welcoming and thrilled to walk me through any questions or accommodations I need! Everything is made fresh to order and it shows how much love is put into every product they prepare! My kids love our regular trips to Bean Bar and look forward to snacking down on their cozy, covered patios with our pup securely clipped to the dog leash hooks they have installed outside! How cool is that?! What else could I ask for when I ve got a handful of kids and a dog to keep up with?! Their efforts to curb the spread of COVID is extremely admirable and appreciated. I ve gone nowhere else that takes the extreme caution to keep their customers, their establishment and themselves safe and comfortable during these unsure times.
Thanks for all you are and all you do, Bean Bar! You ve been so good to me and everyone else in this community and we re so proud of you! I m thrilled to watch you grow and flourish!

Handmade coffee and tea beverages in a clean new building with outdoor seating. The location is perfect after a walk on the Rail Trail.

The staff was friendly and my drink was pretty good. I really liked the atmosphere. I d recommend this place over Starbucks.
