The whole Beacon Funding team have been amazing to me and my company. They gave us a chance when nobody else would being a start up company. It has been a drug out process due to truck shortage but Miles stuck right in there with us and didn't give up! Kim was amazing as well with my request and my last minute changes. Well I m thankful for beacon to be honest. I met a nice gentlemen name jack on the phone and he helped me got approved for my first Tow truck. I did have to put down like 30% plus my interest rate was high. It really didn t deter me because I knew I was on my way to making money. So I know the interest rate could be high especially in my case seeing I was a first timer but it got me started. And that I m thankful for.
Once again Nick made another one of my customers really happy! He worked really hard on this one & once again came through. I will not work with anybody but Nick at Beacon because he truly cares about people & more than just a commission. He is works to put my qualified customers in better loans without all the interest & penalties at the end of the term. Nick is the the best!
I have had great success with beacon. I was growing my business but it was constantly draining my finances every time I made a step it would take a year to recoup the money I had just spent which was a constant drain on my working funds. From the first loan on they have been great to deal with. Stephanie always gets what I need done. Thanks to beacon, I've been able to grow my business tremendously in the past few years and now on our 6th loan with them, we were able to keep more of our working capital working and have added employees as well. I'm not sure I could be where we are now had it not been for beacon. They are truly a great group and I would recommend to anyone trying to expand, give them a try.

Beacon funding don t try to help you unless have been in business for 10yrs it seem like. I was willing to put down over 17k on a 65k truck they told me that s not enough to get approved I would need at least 30k and my credit score a (light 711 is what he said) been in business almost 4yrs. It s best to try other companies because they dnt help start up businesses or just buy a used truck and keep saving your money!!

So they advertised a truck for sale in Houston Texas I called about it the guy said someone was on there way to look at it if it fell through then I could have it he called back late that evening said they didn t show up I said ok I ll take it eight unsewn it was 800 miles from me but matched rear of my trucks he sent me a contract yes I SIGNED A CONTRACT he was supposed to send wire info that was Friday let he said he d send it Monday I said ok I was gonna catch a plane Monday by the time I got there the money would be there everything agreed and signed I was at the airport fixing to board my plane dude called said have you left yet I said I m at the airport he said well don t come I ll back your wire out someone else in my office just sold it to someone else and they re driving away right now so I lost a day a teuck and 488$ for an airline ticket but let someone buy a truck under a contract with them and then call and say I don t want the loan any more see if they don t sue you well my lawyers said only damages I can get back is 488$ and his fee would be 2500 do the math but I want everybody to know how shady they are
BUYER BEWARE
I was extremely satisfied with the people I talked to. I would rate the customer service a 5. ***BUT** I started out very open in my first Consultation about what I was needing, what stage I was in with my business, my credit score, the length of time I have been in business, financial situation the whole 18 yards. I laid it all out there, and asked if they were able to help or what it would take for the to help, so I didn t waste their time or my own. I was told with the information I gave, I would be required to put 10-15% down(15% at the most) but I would need to get them an application, paper work, bank statements, etc. A process taking over a month and multiple conversations later it went from 10-15% down 15% being the max) to 20%, then final offer required 1/3 down. I explained in the very beginning that 15% was a reach but doable and I needed to make this happen so it couldn t be done, to please let me know.
I was told on numerous occasions that 15% was the number, then all said and done it was 33% solely based on the length of time I ve been in business knowing that information from the very beginning.
They promise a lot of things if you make payments on time for the first 3-6 months, as far as future help, building business credit and willing to help with more equipment later if needed, but how can one trust a company that handles the life support of your business, if they can t stay true to their word right from the start??
**but** they truly do have very friendly, helpful, and humble customer service. Just a disconnect between customer service and underwriting.
