Awsome food. And great price too..with a complimentary drink is just sensational

Didn't stay here but had the food. For under $10 can get a great meal and small beer and the burger was amazing! The roof is open in the bar area which is awesome to enjoy the sunshine.

Best value feeds in Airlie.
Pool tables to hone the skills.
Some of the prettiest babes on the east coast.
Willy Heta live on the microphone monday to friday with the coolest laid back vibes.

I found the hostel really great!
Huge room (8-dorm room) with private bathroom and balcon (view of the sea) Air conditioning worked great!
Eating in the bar next door is 50% cheaper!

Looking for the most budget place to stay? Found it.
A bit noisy at night due to some of the guests behaviour. But that's what you expect when you check in there.
Plus there's a free first come first serve car park and a discount coupon for the adjoining pub.

Stayed here for a photoshoot last year. Rooms were clean and comfortable, great location and friendly vibe.

Very friendly staff and the hostel is in the center of the city. Room is clean and well maintained. Plus the lagoon and beach just in front of the hostel is a plus! Went there every night for a swim before calling the night. Recommended for budget accommodation.

What an awful hostel! Staff is very unfriendly! I had to move rooms almost every day, this means check out, leave your bags in storage and check in two hours later when it's super busy! Rooms where clean, but hostel is really noisy. I would NOT recommend this hostel to anyone. Especially due to the staff. NOt helpful ore friendly at all. (except for the woman with black hair).

Everything's in a walkable distance from here. It's cheap if you share a room but the mattress is thin, daily housekeeping (the cleaning is not enough to keep cockroaches out, I found 3 during the 2 weeks I spent there). Friendly atmosphere. Shared kitchen and fridge (works till 9 pm only). Daily discount for a meal in the same place ( 7.50 australian dollars with the discount), you have to ask for the voucher. Tv room but the Tv didn't work when I was there, no pool, paid wifi and the free wifi is only at the pub area, way too slow if you choose the free one. It has a storage room which is free during the day and paid for the night.

Good backpacker very close to the center. Rather old building, but great dinner deal. Worth the money.

Great for fun, not so great for a goods night rest ;)
