Be Great used to be an incubator, but now is a co-working space. It takes up one floor of a 21 story building. It is owned by Lin Ming, who generally does the fireside chats. Some say Be Great is a little over the top, but really I think they are trying to find a way to stand out from all the other co-working spaces. They do that by providing events free and paid, on and off-site. In fact, they seem to be focusing on doing events and the co-working is just a means to pay the bills, but that is just an opinion.
If you do attend an event, they are good ones. Some people just throw people on a stage and ask a bunch of questions that no one is really interested in, but not Be Great. If you listen, you can actually hear the speakers giving you step-by-step how to build a business. In many ways Be Great tends to focus on "Startups" or tech businesses, but I don't think that is where they will stay since in many respects they are a startup themselves, having only been founded in 2013. Some critics say they just throw their money around with parties and events trying to buy themselves into the tech community, but I don't think that is accurate.
