It's the best agricultural university in West Bengal situated in 12 km from kalyani main railway station. The campus is green having nice environment and maintenance. Faculties and research activities are good. There are food stalls inside the campus, parking facility is great. One of the best place to build career and many things to explore !!
Every type facilities available here ( for education purpose). Place of ground huge area..mein huge .Lot of agriculture research institute ( different field ) present . At least I love this place bcz no so much croud.
I had served this educational institution from 1975 to 2011. This University was separated from Kalyani University in the year 1974 and was the loan agricultural university in West Bengal. Again it was divided and a new University Uttar Banga Krishi Viswavidyalaya was set up. This Universities are funded by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research and by the State Government not by University Grant Commission. Agriculture, Horticulture and Agricultural Engineering are taught here. Undergraduate, Postgraduate and PhD are the Subject. Admission are fully depend on Higher Secondary exam. marks basis on agriculture and horticulture and in agricultural engineering by joint entrance exam result. There are many agricultural and horticultural farm in South Bengal under this University.

this place about 70Km away from the babu ghat bus stop ,and 80 km away from the hawda station . Nice place for study . Very good closed campus with all available facilities for boys and girls. They have the Gyms for both boys and girls . Very cooperative teachers are their no need to worry about the research and ur thesis programs. very less expensive hostels and food
