BB&T Center Review

On December 16th I went to the 3:30 Trans Siberian orchestra show. When we arrived and started through the security check point at the door I was told that I would not be permitted to bring my binoculars into the show which was about to start. My car was half way across the parking lot so I was not about to walk back and miss part of the show so I tossed them into the trash can next to the old coot who told me I couldn't bring them in. Never have I been to a show in my 40 plus years of attending a concert that I couldn't bring binoculars in. Well when I arrived at my seat section. I asked the usher why and he showed me where the producers of the show banned them. I then told him about my experience a few moments earlier. He told me I could have checked them in or they would have provided me a ride back to my car if needed. I informed him that the coot at the gate never mentioned either of these options. I let the usher Gary section 114 know I was a bit upset because the tickets did not say anything about binoculars not being permitted. I thanked him for listening to my venting and went to my seat. A few minutes later Gary and another man who appeared to be a supervisor came over and spoke with me. He said I shouldn't have thrown them out and told me the options again and I repeated the fact that the old coot never told me this. The supervisor asked me which gate I came in and where the trash can was located. He then left. About 20 minutes later he returned with my property. I would like to thank Gary section 114 and the other gentleman for going out of their way and making the situation right. They did not have to go out of there way and do this for me but they did and I truly appreciate it greatly. I hope this gets back to these gentleman's supervisors or the GM of the center. Clean, friendly staff - great venue for sports and shows

Pretty nice facility. Parking is a bit expensive $20 and it's not covered. If you show up late you could be in for a long walk. Other then that the building is fairly clean and the seating is not bad. I would go to another event here.

Cash only for drinks, messy organization, restrictive handbag policy.

Sia concert good. There are dead spots in the corners of the building where the sound waves collide and cancel out

Great venue for Florida Panthers games and concerts. Almost every seat has an excellent view for hockey games. The food and drinks selection is ample.

Wonderful venue for concerts and NHL games. Organized, clean, excellent sound system. My only recommendation is to take a picture of the location of your car. You can get confuse since everything looks the same.

This is one of my favorite Stadium to go watch concert. Is very organized easy access to areas and parking is Affordable. But if you don't want to pay parking, most people just park across the mall. No matter where you sit, it's always a good view. I want to see pink in concert and she was awesome great performer singer and a great Acrobat

Went to see Circ de Soleil. It was excellent. The stage was in the center of the auditorium giving twice as many guests front row seating. The service staff was so helpful. I was walking with a cane due to a recent injury. They quickly offered me a wheelchair and took me to my seat, and were right there to pick me up at the end of the show to take me back to the curb for easy pickup.

Absolutely terrible experience. They make you check in your bag if it s larger than 12x12. Never coming here again.

Shows are great! (Disney on ice, cirque du soleil) They re very annoying about the size of the bags (must be under 12 x 12) so please leave big purses in the car so you save yourself that trip. Bathrooms were not very clean either.

This place is great for concerts to panther games, parking costs way to much. ,if you can park across the sawgrass mall and walk to entrance save, u 20 bucks

Very nice arena, but its quite far from city center.

Equipment was bad and the screens weren't working for the opening act. Got fixed afterwards but still.

To far from Ft Lauderdale to much traffic to contend with to get to the center.

Awesome arena. Modern feel, good amenities and more! Right next to the Sawgrass Mills Mall...make a day of it!

Security was a little long but they were so accommodating to my mom needing a wheelchair. Took us too our seats on the floor and came to get us at the end of the concert.

Paid $736 to see Fleetwood Mac in row 5. Worth it. Drinks would have been more enjoyable if they weren't $85 per round.

Parking was horrible; It took 40 mins just to enter the venue. The rule about having small bags is ridiculous because if you have security checking the inside/contents then why does it matter what the size of the pursue is.

Always love this place! Great for Hockey games, concerts, monster truck rallies and more.

When I was younger I ve always imagined going to the BB&T center.
It s home of The Florida Panther as well.
I m honored that I had the opportunity to walk that stage for my graduation.

Went for Frozen with our 4 year old. It was a great experience!

A stadium like many others in America, but ticket prices available for certain matches. Attention on the spot the parking is at the price of 20 $

Nice arena that is a great venue for hockey. There is plenty of parking available. Arena is located close to shopping and restaurants.

Park for free with your Lexus in the Lexus lot at Gate 2.

I'm not an expert on arenas, it is a nice venue. It does not look old and it was very clean. The only complaint I have is that the seats are very small. Two grown men can't sit next to each other without invading personal space.

Many concerts here. Good acoustics, good seats. They have it down to a science getting patrons where they need to be.

A little far from town but does its work. Small arena special for a few gigs

Great Cher show. She still has lots to offer. I totally enjoyed it.

The facilities are excellent, the parking lot is large, there are staff willing to help and guide you, variety of food, the bathrooms are in good condition and clean, you can go with family without problem

This place is more cramped than American Airlines Arena in Miami, extremely cramped and I'm short. Don't get me started on the food and the lines. Price is expected, bit all these facilities need to make a major upgrade, develop an app, where people may order their food and at least deliver to the area we're seated. I seriously detest places that say no outside food, have nothing decent to eat, cost a decent food price, and have to stand an hour or 2 in line to receive it. I'm organic, non gmo, and on keto. All garbage food here, nothing keto friendly, at least do the keto please. Cushy seats at least but do not support proper posture. I don't care for these places at all, takes a special event to get me to go.

The people who work the event should know what's going on you ask them where something is an no one working the event knows .. that would be my only concern other then that amazing time

I have been season seat holders for 5 years.Bathrooms on upper floors need help regularly. Prices for food crazy high.

Good arena, we went by car and the parking was easy to enter and was very close. The arena was quite cold, but that was hockey arenas are! We had long jeans and zipper but still a little bit cold in the end of the game.

Worst experience ever with the ppl who work there wont let a baby stroller in cold ppl also very uncomfortable seats

As if having paid $180 for 3 tickets for Cirque du Soleil (great show and worth every penny!) wasn't enough, they charged $20 for parking which totally blind sided me. Then once inside we got grief from security about a purse which was 0.5 inches too big. I told him things like this should be clearly listed on a ticket prior to coming so were eventually let in. First time and thankfully last

Billy Joel still awesome after all these years, his voice is still as powerful as always. ...

This is a nice sports and concert venue. Adequate parking, plenty of restrooms with loads of stalls, plenty of food & drink vendors, security is alert & attentive without being douche canoes, and the place is kept clean - inside and out - during every event I have attended here.
