Food and service is always very good. Highly recommended. This is located near the Marina and has outdoor as well as indoor seating. really good fish and chips as well as many other entrees.

We have Spinach salad everywhere it's on the menu, Bayside's was one of the very best. Then 'California' Clam Chowder with Chili Verde - excellent!

The food is amazing. All the locals are there, so that speaks for itself!

Beautiful location, on the south side of Morro Bay. The day we went, they ran out of fish for Fish & Chips. Our server was helpful, substituting grilled salmon for our fish, and had the seafood sampler instead. The cocktail sauce was good, the tarter sauce needed some help. The clam chowder was ok, needing more clam flavor. All in all, ok.

We recently moved to Morro Bay and have visited a number of restaurants. So far, Bayside Cafe has been our favorite. We ordered Fish and Chips---they were beer batter---crispy with flaky white meat, and we were able to substitute salad for the chips at no extra cost. We enjoyed sitting on the patio, which had a very relaxing atmosphere. Attentive and friendly service. Situated in Morro Bay Marina, away from the touristy embarcadero, across from camp ground and south of the museum. Calm bay views :-)

Don't miss this spot. Really good food, atmosphere, service, views, before) after meal walks, guests are friendly. My new favorite place.

I had the salmon salad and it was absolutely delicious. They also have gluten free options which is always a plus.

The view, the people, and the atmosphere. Make this a go to place for all the locals and our out-of-town friends. I tried the ahi tuna appetizer and was thrilled. That left room for the fantastic blueberry cobbler.

Been visiting here once or twice a year from So Cal. Thursday nights their special is meat loaf and worth being here fo that! Always a line for dinner!

The food was really good but we had to wait 90 min to get a table even though they didn't seem that busy.

Great food and environment. Server a little clumsy and awkward. Maybe she was new? Save room for dessert.

The service was great. But the clam chowder is too watery and not like the typical chowder u would expect. The salmon sandwich is tasty and worth 4 stars. Plenty of parking and it got nice view to some of the bay and shoal. So my overall rating is 3.5 stars.

Best fish and chips I've ever had. Everything is fresh caught and tasty. Highly recommend the wet fish burrito, which is only available on Tuesdays (I believe, will have to double check).

We showed up Sunday at lunch time, so we needed to wait a bit. We went for a little walk, and came back for a wonderful lunch! Their food is wonderful every single time we go there.

The accommodation were exceptional. My 90 year old grandma who is in a wheelchair felt very comfortable that was a huge help, and the food was delicious. We had a party of eight and there was something for everyone. Thank you Bayside Cafe.

Clam chowder was good but the crab cakes were disappointing. They came with a dressing that was entirely too spicy. Definitely not an east coast type of crabcake.

The food, ambiance and staff are A+. I would recommend eating there. Naturally since it is on the Bay it is beautiful. Mud Pie is complimentary on your birthday

Delicious, especially the California Chowder. They dont take reservations so arrive early to beat the rush.

I love this place, they have good food period, their breakfast menu is always top notch, the waitress are always very friendly, the food is always served hot, not warm! And the parking is always available no matter what the crowd size. It isn't a big place so on weekends you may have to wait 15 to 20 minutes for a table, but it is worth it!!

I come here Thursday for the meatloaf, it's my favorite. Start with the. SLO IPA, Finish with the homemade pumpkin pie with wiped cream and coffee.

Great quality burgers and fries with big portions! Highly recommended. Currently offers outdoor seating and has separate window for takeouts. Go for a walk on the nearby boardwalk afterward.

Crab sandwich was bland for the price, fish offered more taste but very greasy, California chowder was good and spicy, regular clam chowder was good. Fog came in so there was nit much of a view which is what I'm assuming we were paying for. Probably won't go back unless I'm very hungry and its a sunny day. Service was good so I left a nice tip.

The shrimp fettuccine with white wine sauce and capers was delicious. Will order again but ask for extra capers and cheese toast.

Great food and a great atmosphere. Cod tacos and a homemade carrot cake. Licked my fingers off. Fresh and tasty and with the fog over the bay a fantastic entourage. Gotta go here.

Great little cafe hidden in the State Park of Morro Bay. Enjoy a variety of sandwiches and their clam chowder soup! They also have a sampling of Mexican dishes on the menu.

Nice view, delicious food, great service! We enjoyed a cup of the California Chowder, Fried Brie Salad, and Coquilles St. Jacque. Portions were great. We took home half the salad and finished it later. Thanks to our friendly server Vera!

Great lunch, and a great location in the park at the marina on the estuary.

Food is very good,large proportions,Dessert is out of this world if you order the Mud Pie, easily enough for 2 people

Delicious food, home-made desserts, relaxing patios near the bay and excellent service. Wait for a table is 40 minutes but there are benches that overlook the water while you wait. I have been coming here for over 30 years.

Good Food, good service...short hours...didn't open until 11:00 Then was very busy. Very very expensive be prepared to pay a premium for the location. I will only visit here this one time. But if it were more reasonably priced I would be here each day. I had the crab cakes and key lime pie. Yummy.
