Tend to spend more time in Mixer's, the bar, than the restaurant itself, but have been to both. Always meet new and interesting people, while enjoying quick and tasty snacks. Beer selection could be better, but the cocktails are great.

Not sure what happened to this place. I have been here many times in the past for lunch and dinner. The eggs Benedict was always my favorite. I recommended this place to my friend and am now regretful that I did. The waiter during the morning opening on June 26 was practically annoyed to be there. Another couple walked into the mostly empty restaurant and the waiter told them to sit wherever they wanted. When they were found sitting at a table with 4 place settings, he told them they couldn t sit there. They were annoyed and left the restaurant.
I ordered the eggs Benedict and my friend ordered an omelet.
My eggs Benedict came out and I immediately noticed what appeared to be a large yellow chunk that resembled solidified egg yolk.Upon further inspection, I realized it was an unthawed chunk of frozen Hollandaise sauce. It ran down the side of my eggs Benedict like a blob of sherbet in a champagne punch. Needless to say the Hollandaise sauce was cold. I decided to eat the eggs despite this and started cutting into the low grade ham that was full of tendons and fatty tissue. I ignored that since I had ordered a side of bacon. The last straw was when I tasted the stale English muffin. I just ended up eating the bacon and the poached egg which were the only edible items.
I really don t know what happened to this place. I actually asked the waiter if they were under new management. He said they were about five years ago.
I will never return to this establishment. In my opinion, I think it s that the owner simply doesn t care. This is further supported by the fact that some other reviewers made negative comments below and the the owner berated them for writing a negative review.
A respectable establishment would take this constructive criticism and try to improve.

We squeezed in just before closing after a long slow drive from Boston. We had to eat in the bar room which was fine, but the service was EXCELLENT, and the 3 of us found our meals to be OUTSTANDING. I had seared scallops, mushroom risotto & asparagus. The other 2 had a a sea bass with lemon caper sauce and mashed rutabaga.

This place was so amazing. It was a bit of a walk but so worth it. The portions were very generous and the quality of food was just fabulous. They have real vegan options. The ri
Bbq ribs literally fell off the bone. The fisherman's platter provided a wide variety of local fresh seafood, and the gazpacho was perfectly seasoned. The restaurant was clean with a nice ambiance but the best part of all was the staff. A shout out to Bulgarian Pavel for his amazing service and providing a perfect experience for my family

Wow.

Wow.
It was great.
I recently visited this restaurant by accident
I never inquired or even bother to look for any reviews online. And who would thought that I will have a great time
House made Sangria was excellent
Oysters were tasty and fresh
Jumbo wings.... I thought they were turkey wings..
Yeap.... they mean jumbo
Calamari was awesome... not like those restaurants that serve you the Calamari that looks like onion rings.... this was a good choice for me
But I wished I ordered the fisherman Platter from across the table it looked much better but never the less I was happy with my order...
They have a great outdoor seating the face the ocean with huge umbrellas that gives plenty of shade....
On my way out there was a long waiting line
When it's good it's good
Without any doubt I will return.

Food was ok after waiting for the soups. Watched the servers bring our food back into kitchen under heat lamps probably while 2 of our party of 4 ate the soup. Shelve just brought out the food with the soup since the waitress was obviously overwhelmed or not paying attention

Stopped here because we had just arrived in Ptown and I had to pee. So we went in and ordered a drink, due to covid 19 you have to also order food, I ordered the cheapest thing on the menu which was a clam chowder and a bloodymary,
I dont like clam chowder and did not intend to eat it, just ordered it to get my drink. When it came it looked so good I tried a little spoon, then another and another, it was soooooooooo good I ate the full thing.
My wife tried it and confirmed it was indeed the best clam chowder she has had.
The view over the bay was so nice we also booked a table there for dinner.
I ordered the scallops. I don't know how this place can stay in business, normally I am used to 4 or maybe 6 scallops.
Here you must get at least a pound and a half, when I decided to count them after I had eaten maybe 4 or 5 there where still 10 on my plate.
These were full size sea scallops. They tasted super fresh also.
Only bad thing was they are deep fried instead of sauteed in butter which would have given them Top marks.
Great Job Mrs Anderson

Best view in town from their new back deck! We ve been several times over the years but now this is definitely a staple for dinner or just drinks. They have a new bar on the water where you have an unobstructed view of both lighthouses. Dining tables or comfy outdoor furniture available. The food was top notch. We had appetizers and frozen cocktails, but others around us raves about the seafood, steaks, and even chicken parm. A great little spot to pop in on a beautiful P-Town evening!

We ate here 2 nights in a row because we loved our dinners so much the first time! We ate every bit off our plates. Shrimp cocktail made perfectly. My husband could not stop saying how good his scallop risotto was. I ate every morsel of my steak and potatoes. I didnt even need a knife to cut it, it was so tender. My husband got the steak on night 2 and I tried the chicken parm, and the sweet chili chicken fingers. Delicious! We made reservations the first night and got there early. And got seated early. The second night we couldn't get reservations. We showed up early, before 5. We got told to wait in the bar and we would be seated right at 5. And we were. Everyone is super friendly and the deck has a gorgeous view!

I always like coming to Betsy's when in town. The staff do try their best to keep up with the crowds, so be patient because the overall experience getting to people watch on Commercial and meet new people at the bar are priceless.

This old favorite and grown by leaps and bounds. Under manager Pedro Abreu's expert eye, guidance and creativity, this has become a must-do. They have been freshening and updating the interior, the drink menu is outstanding, and the food well prepared and delicious. Our waiter Oscar was the absolute example of gracious and efficient in waitstaffing - WONDERFUL!

Got there 4.30 pm. We were informed kitchen opens at 5pm. We decided to stay for a few drinks until kitchen opens. At 5 pm. We were advice it would be 5.30 pm for the kitchen to open, we ordered some appetizers anyways and waited. At this point we were one of the 3 tables on the terrace. Another table came in (before 5.30) ordered apetizers they got the food, ate it and we still waiting, another table ordered food, same thing....we were the last ones to get serve even though we were one of the first table to sit. We asked our server and she replied there's nothing she can do about it...we waited about 45 min.(after 5pm.) for 3 apetizers...Drinks are good, food good as well, service not so much for us.

Hot lobster rolls excellent

Hot lobster rolls excellent
I went here off season so near by the hotel didn't have many options. Tired after 3hrs driving we decided to go to next door restaurant.
First impression, place was super friendly. Nice staffs.
Highlight for me was hot lobster roll with butter. Yum! I can't ever eat cold seafood for some reason so I can't ever eat cold lobster roll. This dish was a gane changers. Lobster was fresh and smell like butter, bread was toasted so crispy and tasty. Happy.
Sorry couldn't have better photos. Too excited to see the dish and couldn't wait longer.
Fries was good too

Service was not good, specifically the waiter for our table. There was a lot of stretching across people to serve dishes or remove items from the table vs. walking to the next gap between patrons to continuing serving/clearing dishes (an arm stretched over your plate of food and right in front of your face). The waiter wasn't exactly rude but was far from friendly and not very attentive. My dish, the chicken oscar, was awful (completely drowning in sauce and not seasoned well. One of the worst meals I've ever had in recent memory and that's not an exaggeration. It was definitely not what I had expected but I sincerely gave it a try and yet had to stop for fear of it getting me sick later on. The only redeeming qualities are that 1) some of the limited interactions with other workers was pleasant 2) a couple of people ordered the half rack of ribs and really enjoyed their meal. Probably won't be coming back.

We came here since the Lobster Pot was closed and we wanted outdoor seating where we could see the water. We got in without a reservation after about a 15 minute wait on a Saturday night. We ened up with a nice view of Cape Cod Bay at our table for two.The food was good. I had clam chowdah and the fisherman's platter. The host/manager was a nice and funny guy that took pride in making sure his customers were pleased.

We dinned in around 10 places in Ptown and this was one of the best meals we had. The staff was super sweet (as everyone in this town) and the ahi tuna with cold noodles was delicious. The coconut shrimp was one of the best I had in my life, made with fresh coconut.

Stopped here for drinks at the bar after PMC ride on our way to the ferry. Owner sat by the front and chat with people on the street, pleasant and friendly. Bar is on a small side and easy to get crowded.

I Have been coming to PTown since i was 18 & love it!! My partner & I Have been a frequent visitors To Bayside religiously since 2011. However, on our visit this year (with a friend whom had never been to PTown) we popped into Baysides for breakfast Sunday 6.16. I was shocked! I noticed the menu had changed but didn t think much about it. But when our food arrived, horrified. The Eggs Benedict were the worse i ve ever had. Our friends Bagel w/ smoked salmon, atrocious. How?!? Luckily my partner s omelette was edible. The server & staff were wonderful & the addition of the deck amazing. BUT the food needs much improvement. I never write reviews as I always try to give every situation the benefit of the doubt & will give an establishment several opportunities. But this was just, shocking for such an amazing PTown establishment.

Food was alright I guess and service was not the best at all. Took forever to get our food and the restaurant had about 4 tables. Would ve had more drinks if I could get our waiter s attention.
He was confused about everything we ordered and most of our food came out wrong out of 8 people. One person in our party got his food after everyone was done with theirs. (We tried to wait. Lol)
Anyway... the atmosphere and the view was nice thou!
