Not bad...best chowder we've ever had. Lobster roll was okay, fisherman's platter was pretty good too. Drinks were nice, maybe a touch pricey though.

Food is good & prices are fair. the best part is the bar: fun bartenders that look like smurfs and make the best damm frozen cocktails on the Cape.
The view is great, food was decent but the service was not, our waiter was uninterested and rude.
Solid upscale seaside diner with great water views. The clam chowder and the lobster rolls and the halibut rueben are no joke. Service is fine. It's very relaxed and casual. Ths entree salads are a little skimpy but the breakfast is quite good. We go twice during a week long visit.
By far the best lobster roll I have ever had. The views are fantastic. Great service and drink selections also.
Loved the scollaps but could of hard more than 4 on my plate
They make it in small batches fresh several times weekly with all natural ingredients and tons of succulent ocean clams. The Best Clam Chowder anywhere on the Cape!
Good place to grab a drink. Nice small bar setting with usually friendly patrons and sassy bartender keeps it fun for everyone.
I have been coming here for 15 years and wasn't as much of a fan after they changed ownership. This time, the food was great and I love the new deck. Will definitely be back again!
Delicious comfort foods. The service was excellent and the view of the bay is wonderful.
BETSY S GNOCCHI! It has ruined all other gnocchis for me. The pesto cream sauce, the sun dried tomatoes...ugh...I need this recipe! I m at another restaurant eating gnocchi...and all I can think about is Betsy s .
This year Bayside Betsy s has stepped up their game and we all are benefiting. The food is great! Hurry in before the word gets out and enjoy the patio with a view for breakfast. Yum!
Great food, friendly staff, good local craft beers, great mixed drinks, amazing view.
Great service, but the food was definitely not worth the money. Under seasoned and over salted - pretty flavorless.
Open in November . . . good fish and chips, chowder, and draft beer; super friendly staff.
Great food, but a little on the expensive side. Gorgeous view in the back room
Food is excellent, also service was very good..nice view
Watch out Pepe's! Bayside Betsy's is going to give you some stiff competition. The new deck has a similar view of the ocean with nice tables and umbrellas. The staff is friendly and quick to please. We had the fried fish sandwich, haddock Reuben, turkey club and tuna niciose salad (the best one in town). No rushing and Patrick, the manager, stopped several times to chat and make sure we were happy with our meals. The perfect Provincetown lunch!
The view and the atmosphere at Betsy's is great. The staff was very nice and polite, though they got my order wrong. I had the haddock reuben which was a bit cheesier than I would have liked (more like a grilled cheese sandwich texture), but bear in mind I'm from Canada and we don't use the same amount of cheese as the US. My girlfriend's Swordfish sandwich was really good though, absolutely perfectly cooked.
Not the same since Betsy sold it. Food just okay and worst of all no more Pepsi. Much better places to try. Some no name cola. Skip it.
The salmon was perfect. My wife loved the warm lobster roll and potato salad. We were surprised they didn't have desert. For more comments and pictures see my review on foodismythingbabe.
Great season options, friendly service and an amazing view of the Bay. This is one of the places for tourists in Provincetown to check out.
Best food on our tour of the New England states. Prime rib was delicious. In general, Provincetown is a lively and picturesque place. Last but not last surrounded by great nature!
Excellent service
Friendly, clean beautiful views of the ocean
Food was exceptional
Had a awesome time with my family
Pretty cool place to dine in and take in the sights of P-town.
Awful Waiter :( Good food... I really would give 5 stars if it Wasn't for the mediocre service I had. MY SERVER WAS SO RUDE... he said to my cousin (14 y.o) that she Was too Young to be wearing makeup ( a little bit of mascara only, Nothing More
Homemade potato chips with blue cheese and bacon are to die for. The seared scallops are simply fabulous!
Awesome food, friendly staff, and has a beautiful view of the ocean on the back deck!
One of the best breakfast places here in town that I have experienced. Standard American breakfast fare done well.
Bar service was a little slow but the food is still solid
Eggs Benedict would have been the best , except the egg whites weren't cooked .
Soupy they were .
The most fantastic food I have ever had! I got the dragonfly steak and a mango martini. The service was a little lacking though but the views were breath taking.
Great views and the food was great but service a little slow.
My family was in search of a place to have lunch while visiting Provincetown one day on a vacation to cape cod. We saw this place had a view and gave it a shot. We have a toddler and we're always on edge when we eat at a place, but the staff was super friendly and accommodating. The food was great and atmosphere was nice. Lunchtime music playlist was killer too. Highly recommend.
Location is wonderful, staff were friendly and helpful and the food was delicious! Could not have asked for more.
Overpriced, not terrible or wanderful. Everything as a main course is about $4 too much. Drinks were decent, view -just No-
Near old Air Force Base
quick lunch
friendly staff
weird bathrooms
Worth it!
A mixed bag of tasty and so-so. We ordered a meatloaf dinner, which was yummy and nicely presented. Another of us ordered gnocchi with a pesto sauce. Probably should have guessed that a place serving great meatloaf will do a mediocre pesto! And it was mediocre! At best.
So order your basic American cooking and be happy. The service was reasonably attentive despite a busy night. Recommended with reservations.
Had a nice dinner with a view over de bay. Good food and excellent service.
I had a wonderful small pizza with Gorgonzola, date, and prosciutto. Then the meal come, it was a Filet with Lobster and shrimp. Nothing is worse than overcooked seafood, rubber. I was with someone that was a VEGAN, all they could do was a salad, I understand that. The issue was that it was lettuce, 4 slices of cucumber, and one tomato. They should have said something if that is all they could do. To top it off they charged $14.00 for it...
THE WORST PLACE I HAVE EVER EATEN!!! I'll try not to complain that the waitress who I took my friends drink order and completely forgot!!!. Or the fact the Waitress also forgot the water we ask for THREE TIMES!!!! But I will not over look the fact that she took all our orders including my 9 year old daughter. Who I might add is diabetic and needed a full meal. Especially after a full day of sightseeing. The order was completely forgotten!!! The order was....and I quote.."unfortunately was mistakenly not written down". She had to wait almost 2hours for the waitress to retake the order and make it!!!!! This was supposed to be a decent place to have a family meal!!! Believe me when I say this place is horrible!!! I STRONGLY SUGGEST NEW STAFF AND MANAGEMENT IS NECESSARY!!! I'LL NEVER eat HERE AGAIN!!!
Went here on a Friday night all you can eat fish fry and, let me tell you, I made that 20$ worth it. Absolutely delicious, the beer batter was so light and seasoned nicely, the sauce they gave for the Portuguese style was amazing. I didn't want to get full so I could've kept eating.
Scenic location on the harbour. Great food: scrumptious crab cake and lobster roll.
Breakfast was nice, the veggie omelette was full of flavor but I would pass on the scrambled eggs. The breakfast menu had some great choices. The coffee had a full body taste and nice aroma and they do not skimp on the cocktails ha ha. The views from the patio were beautiful and are Waitress Eliana was full of European Charm. The host let s call him Jeffrey was overflowing with that color and sass that you expect and appreciate when in Ptown.
Clearly under new management from previous visits. Not good. Maitre D was rude and lied about needing reservations to avoid seating me where I asked to be seated. The specialty drinks we ordered were so watered down with ice there was no discernible flavor. The food took so long to come out I decided to just bag it and take it to go. It's too bad this prime location is being wasted.
Sat on deck outside. Perfect day. Cup of Clam Chowder delicious!
I've been coming here for years and it is always AMAZING!!!
These guys are always the nicest and they bend over backwards to accommodate anybody who is gracious.
My husband and I each had the fish sandwich for lunch which we both enjoyed. The fish we had tasted fresh and was not heavily battered. The meal came with fries as a side. Toppings on the sandwich included onion, tomato, lettuce, and a pickle. We both felt that the amount of food was perfect.
The place has a really nice view and was not too crowded during a busy Sunday afternoon. The food was good but nothing special.
Food was great. Was disappointed that the bread isn't served with entree anymore. Service was exceptional.
Easy place for lunch or dinner. Service a bit slow.
Great benedict selection. Plenty of nice outdoor deck seating.
We had a wonderful time here on our first day in P-Town. It had much shorter wait times than many of the other restaurants around it and a water view to die for! I had a burger which was tasty and filling, the bacon was crisp and the fries were excellent. My wife had the scallops risotto, nice large scallops that were juicy and plump and the risotto was perfect. Service was adequate, speedy, and friendly. The restaurant was clean and well lit with very pleasant music throughout.
The bartender was absolutely THE worst bartender hat I have EVER, (in all of my travels around the world), encountered. I have NEVER been treated by any server like I was treated by this individual. This person cursed at me and was unbelievably obnoxiously rude. I don't know why because all I asked for was a drink for my friends and me. We were not acknoldged upon arriving. I asked once if we could have some drinks and he completely ignored me. I asked again to no avail. My friends were also ignored. We waited patiently and when he served men that came in after us I finally said....do you ever plan on serving us? At which point he said that..
"he was too busy and I should go eff myself ". At that point we got up and left. I cannot believe that someone would behave that way to a cash paying customer. I tip well. I'm quiet. We all kept to ourselves. I have ZERO idea what prompted his behavior. I would die of thirst before I would EVER ask to be served at that "establishment".
I loved it. The waitress was amazing, the view was beautiful and serene, and my eggs benedict was perfect.
We hit this place mid afternoon after arriving in Provincetown. We were told they were between lunch and dinner, but we could order drinks and they offered their soups. We had the clam chowder and it was the best we've ever had!
The view is stunning and I found service very amicable and good. We ordered calamaris and a lobster roll. It was honestly quite pricey for what we got.
It's a good place if you're looking for a sit down restaurant with nice view. Would personally just grab a roll at a take out and go enjoy outside.
I go to this great spot often! This is my favorite place to pass a nice evening. I visit this place at least once a month. The cooking is very good, the crew is professional and the prices are affordable. I like meeting in this spot over a rich supper.
Server was rude. Didn't realize they closed at 9. Arrived at 840pm to eat. Was asked if we wanted a table I said yes since the bar was packed. Server grabbed two menus and proceeded to walk to a table and drop the menus. Never once said come with me or the kitchen closes soon. Once say he proceeds to talk to friends in a different language at a table a few seats away. Was looking forward to the meal but not the service!!!!
