Be super careful about their billing. Ask for quotes for all services in writing, and do not trust what they tell you the bill will be. They quoted me one price verbally and labeled it a "special deal". Then sent me an enormous bill later. When I called their billing dept they simply said to pay the bill and they would get around to looking into what was said to me within 30 days or so.

Surgeons and Heart care teams have performed admirably with my wife's procedure 2 months ago and now, with my father's care and surgical plan. Honest, realistic, confident and dependable care teams of physicians, surgeons, nurses and support staff have made a typically frightful situation (with his heart condition) smooth and calming. Our family appreciates the straight-forward approach from Dr. Stoler and crew.
We have not had the results we hoped for but, it certainly is not due to a lack of effort by the care team. Lots more heart damage than we anticipated but we have a plan in place moving forward to relieve some pain and dyspnea and hopefully, give him a few more years. Thank you Baylor Heart & Vascular! You are heart champions in my book!!

I was there on 8/16 for a nuclear stress test at 9:45. Forgot the technician's name. The whole experience went well however my care was very lacking. The technician didn't stay with me during the pictures (don't know if that's normal) She said she would check on my halfway into the first round of pictures. She just popped in and said I had 7 more minutes and left the room. Even though I had a blanket on me after drinking three cups of ice cold water and in a cold room. I was shivering and my teeth were chattering. When the pictures were over and she helped me sit up. I told her I hoped I was able to be still enough and explained. She then told me she could fix it. Had she asked me how I was when she "checked" on me I would've have been more comfortable during the last half. She did adjust it so the second scan went a lot better. She also started brushing her hair after she laid me down and the first scan started before she left the room. She was nice, and explained everything very well. I just thought she could have been a little more professional. Don't know if this is where I can post a complaint or if it will even to any good. But if it's not I'll like to know how I can to improve someone else's experience. Thank you.

My husband had an ablation done yesterday. He had some complications afterward that were pretty scary. However, the staff has made this experience as pleasant as possible. They truly care about the patients and their family. The volunteer working in the waiting room, Raymond, was AMAZING! He made the waiting so much easier. He walked me down to the cafeteria and genuinely cares about the people he works with. Meg on the 3rd floor was great! As were all of the other nurses. Thank y all!

Doctors and nurses were very good. But the billing department is a lying fraud. Originally told my cost would be $7700.00. When I declined the elective procedure they called back and said they had made a mistake. Actual cost would be $2400.00. They billed me $5100.00. I would avoid these crooks. Oh. No complications and shorter procedure than they expected. Let me say again. They're crooked

I had pacemaker surgery on 10.5.21 and it was the best hospital - surgery experience I have ever had. The express check in, the nurse reception and pre surgery was all exceptional. This is the first time the nurse didn't hurt me with the IV needle. Dr. Assar visited with me before the surgery and after the surgery answering all my questions. I have had no problems at home. The nurse called me to make sure I was okay and gave me a direct number if any complication happen to come up. I highly recommend the Baylor Scott & White Heart and Vascular Hospital - Dallas. My only wish is that all hospitals could be as professional, caring, friendly, helpful and organized as this group of nurses and doctors.

Jack and Jane Hamilton Heart and Vascular Center on 8/25/2020. Due to COVID 19 concerns only my mother could go in and spend time with my father, so I waited primarily outside. They had a nice shaded area to sit, this being August in Texas that was definitely not taken for granted. I would like to especially mention the Valet attendant on duty who throughout my wait time showed extremely good customer service to any and all who entered that building, whether they used valet service or not. Everyone was polite and thoughtful, but this gentleman stood out to me. Hope his employer recognizes what a great job he is doing!
