Bay Pointe Inn Review

Beautiful and Stunning views. The staff was friendly and helpful. We stayed in the Cottages and they were very nice. Beds were super comfy. Pull out bed mattress was a little flat and lumpy but that's expected with a pull out couch. Very clean buildings. Thanks for a great stay

We used Bay Pointe as our wedding venue on 7/19/20. We had an amazing wedding and are so glad we came here! Everyone was very helpful and communicative throughout the entire process. Our day went flawlessly, which we did not expect while planning a wedding during a pandemic! The scenery was breathtaking and exactly what we were looking for. All of our guests had such good things to say after the day was over. We had a room in the hotel as well as a cottage at Bay Pointe Woods and both were wonderful. We were so glad we had the space available at the cottage to get ready the day of the wedding. Food was awesome too! Big shout out to Ashley, Juno, Jessica, and Vanessa for making our day so special!

The hotel really outdid themselves. The food was amazing. We had room service. Steve was very polite and helpful and delivering our food with amazing customer service. They gave me a complimentary bottle of champagne for my birthday. Beautiful rooms, beautiful view, amazing staff. 5 out of 5 stars

Food was good, staff was friendly but the delay is being seated was to long. Lack of cleaning the tables was probably the reason. We sat down and 5 tables around us had dirty dishes and they sat there until someone else wanted to sit down then the table was cleaned.

All of Bay Pointe Inn's wedding venues are absolutely beautiful. As a photographer, I just love the grounds in every direction. I can't wait to shoot another wedding there soon this fall :) Highly recommend!

Very well appointed and the staff was friendly and accomodating. They are in remodel and it was a bit messy/doors propped. The front desk could use two people at check in time. Very comfortable and a great getaway for this local.

Stayed at Bay Pointe Inn for a couple nights last week. Nice room, nice grounds, gorgeous view. Everything clean and well maintained, the only drawback was no coffee maker in our room, it's been many years since I've stayed at lodging that didn't have a coffee maker in the room, I would have traded the mini fridge for one so that I didn't have to go to the lobby when I woke up to get coffee.
The staff was friendly and helpful. The food and service at the Terrace Grille at Bay Pointe Inn was exceptional. Also we loved the music on Wednesday evening. We enjoyed our stay so much we made a reservation to stay again in October to enjoy the beautiful autumn color change.
I would highly recommend the Bay Pointe Inn.

Very nice, even just for a day away with one night. My fiance and I enjoyed ourselves so much, we regretted not booking it for out wedding venue coming up next year. This place has everything a romantic getaway really needs.

My girlfriend and I had a most enjoyable two days at the Bay Pointe Inn last week. Our suite was extremely clean and well furnished with everything one might need to enjoy a special occasion with those they love. The staff was both courteous and friendly, taking care of any need that we may have had.

The food menu was limited however and we had to eat in our room (both due to covid restrictions) but room service was free and very quick. We loved the way everything was prepared and served (with real silverware and china) and the portion sizes were bigger than expected. We would have eaten in the restaurant if it were open but because we also would have eaten in our room we feel that we didn't miss out on too much.

All in all a wonderful stay, especially for an early January trip here in frozen Michigan. The resort wasn't nearly as busy as it normally gets during the summer months so it was surprisingly quiet and restful for us. Who knows, maybe we'll come back next January and have our wedding here. That's how nice this place really is....

One more thing: be sure to also check out the pool as it's kept at a very comfortable temperature (similar to bath water) and it's also cleaner than any other pool I've seen at a hotel or resort before.

I just had my wedding there this weekend and I cannot tell you how much I enjoyed it. Everyone has been raving about my wedding the past couple days. Not only was it a great event but the venue it s self was amazing. Perfect weather perfect views and the service was outstanding. Even the planning process was great. The woman who helped me plan up until the day as well as the coordinator for the day of are just the best. I would highly recommend this place for a wedding.
