My girlfriend and I had a most enjoyable two days at the Bay Pointe Inn last week. Our suite was extremely clean and well furnished with everything one might need to enjoy a special occasion with those they love. The staff was both courteous and friendly, taking care of any need that we may have had.

The food menu was limited however and we had to eat in our room (both due to covid restrictions) but room service was free and very quick. We loved the way everything was prepared and served (with real silverware and china) and the portion sizes were bigger than expected. We would have eaten in the restaurant if it were open but because we also would have eaten in our room we feel that we didn't miss out on too much.

All in all a wonderful stay, especially for an early January trip here in frozen Michigan. The resort wasn't nearly as busy as it normally gets during the summer months so it was surprisingly quiet and restful for us. Who knows, maybe we'll come back next January and have our wedding here. That's how nice this place really is....

One more thing: be sure to also check out the pool as it's kept at a very comfortable temperature (similar to bath water) and it's also cleaner than any other pool I've seen at a hotel or resort before.
