I've been a member for many years. Great worship services (4 to pick from including Sat evening) wonderful choices of Sunday School classes (something for everyone), excellent activities for all ages to keep you engaged and learning, the mission program is second to none.

Great church! Been going there since 2003. Messages are straight from the Bible, lot's of outreach and mission work, great teachers in Sunday School, and lot's of opportunities to get involved. Oh, and did I mention doughnut Sunday? :-P

Great church, Biblically sound but inwardly focused. Attended with my family for an entire year and no one ever reached out, or said "hello" or personally invited us to any events. Stopped attending b/c we didn't feel the warmth and outreach on a personal level from any of the members that comes from the gospel. Weird.

Another loving church, they have lots of ministriy . opportunities to serve. This is a very big church, 3 services. they have have a huge choir. And usually have room for more singers. They are strong in missions and out reach.
They have a very large daycare, while you are in church. They have a good group of keen agers and go on many trips through the years. Bayleaf hs been there for over 50 years and still growing.

I am disappointed in my Christian family at Bay Leaf. I do not live in Raleigh but I have an un-churched daughter who does. She knows that it is the desire of her mother's heart that she find a church home for herself and her children. She discovered Bayleaf quite by accident and was hoping that it would be like her home church where she grew up. "No one greeted her or spoke to her children, the sermon was to the saved and not for the seeking and hurting". Those were her comments to me. I know that she is looking for excuses not to give up her Sunday morning, but you let me down church family by not embracing this visitor and stranger in your midst. Please take this to heart and be more aware of others.

I have been a member for almost 30 years. Bayleaf is a baptist church in North Raleigh and has grown significantly in that time, but the core mission of helping people develop a personal relationship with God remains the same.
