Great company that seems to take care of their emloyees!!

We ran a load for Bay & Bay brokerage division and they took $50 off our pay for not tracking a load which is completely false. After talking to one of their managers issue seems to be resolved and they promised that we will be reimbursed.

Great place to work, knowledgeable and helpful employees, and a fun competitive atmosphere.

Horrible can never get ahold of anyone!! They don t stick to pay terms and you can never get ahold of accounts receivable. Joke of a broker

I'm a driver here at Bay and Bay . I love working here . Brand new Kenworth T680s and Brand new Frieghtliners . The people in the office really know how to treat us drivers very well and feels like family always . They are very kind and understanding here and they always fix any problems that the driver is having . I've been here for 9 months now and plan on staying here a very long time . My DM is amazing and keeps my pockets fat and keeps me busy just how I like to run . No sitting just rolling. i booked a load with Chi Xu and we had an issue with the date and time of delivery and when i called him to ask what happened - he was extremely rude and unprofessional

I leased a Unit 2862 from them. I got Covid before I was done paying the truck. I had equity in the truck! They resold it to another driver and never gave me the difference! They kept it! Do not buy a truck from them! Other ethical companies will calculate the equity and give it to you. Not Bay and Bay! They couldn t care less about their drivers. STAY AWAY!!!

I didn't like working with their dispatchers. Cheap freight and slow trucks with cameras on you while you drive. Made enough money to stay broke paying the truck note. Sat for hours waiting to load and unload. 6 months with them and went home 4 times. They suck.

Amazing! They are honest and actually care for their employees!! One of the best transportation companies to work for. Love my job!

Could anyone tell me if leasing on with them is good thinking about it read reviews I understand the negatives there's probably underline issues but I been out here 25+ yrs you need to run not sit any input be great

Was just in A-line of 20 cars behind truck number 2814 in Chattanooga Tennessee. Professional driver kept everybody behind him for a kick i guess. Called company to report but got put on hold. Ugh.

Complete gentleman & ladies to work and run for. My DM Josh keeps me running & the 1 or 2 things I had an issue with were fixed immediately. The safety Dept is the bomb and they truly care about your well being. If you want to work hard, not go home every week & make money to send home to your family & live like a KING on the road, this is the place to haul freight for. Obviously not everyone can be made happy or communicates an issue to the right people. I would def recommend this place. If you need a job & are not a cry baby & want to put down miles. Do not go with them there planer will burn your clock up waiting for a load there lease perches it a joke the shop puts bandages on the trucks hoping it will make it 30 days so the driver has to pay for it the man that leases the truck is a joke wont answer his phone or return calls they put lease perches drivers in wore out company trucks the planer will try to work you on your days off just a bad company all around..

As a two year employee of Bay & Bay Transportation, I have found it to be one of the best companies I've ever worked for in over 30 years of employment. The employees and culture are fantastic. Definitely a 'best place to work', even though they have not yet applied for that honor.

My experience with Bay&Bay was nothing but fantastic. I really liked the family atmosphere and how you could walk into the office, both Bulk and Freight and talk to whoever you needed to, Dispatchers, Payroll, HR etc and they knew me on a 1st name basis. Bay&Bay gave me the opportunity to do some very unique and interesting things while I was there. On the Bulk side of the business, I got to dive in to running multiple different trailer types, which gave me some great experience. Their pay was competitive and I never had an issue with payroll. I was a company driver, but something that always stood out to me were the amount of Lease-Purchase guys who would actually finish/pay off their lease. You can tell from the veteran drivers and their longevity with the company, that Bay&Bay is doing something right!

I applied for a customer service position at Bay and Bay after being contacted by one of the recruiters, Kitso Veasy. I followed up with her several times with emails expressing how interested I was and just wanted closure if they were going to pursue other candidates. She never got back to me confirming anything. I would expect some professional courtesy as to say thanks for applying...

The owner treats divers like family, people here even know your name around here we are not a number

I was told I would be getting a dedicated run home on weekends $1200 a week. When I get to Orientation I am told I will be running otr is as how there are no open positions on the dedicated account. I'm like ok no problem ill run otr till it opens. Well then nope u cant do that acct at all but we will give u a rise. Will in 6 months give it to you. My friend works for swift they told him everything he would be doing. If the company that is the but of everyone's jokes can tell there drivers up front why cant this one?

Terrible company to drive for . Was misled by recruiter. Never mentioned a scam they have if you don't stay employed by them for 6 months they will take (orientation costs) $709 in my case . I was trapped into signing their scam paper last day of orientation with $10 dollars in my pocket and 1200 miles away from home. And I didn't sign they said find your own ride home . Drivers stay away!

Great group of people to work with. People work across departments to solve issues. Management generally cares about making the work atmosphere positive and productive.

I don't know much about this Company. I know they don't have GPS's on the truck's. I'm gonna make lots of wrong turns for sure. Maybe even get lost.

Booked a load with CHI XU. for verbally aggreged rate. After sending the confirmation. They took us off the load because they made a mistake and booked it for more than they had in the load. instead of being more professional they just flat out took us off. Don't use this Broker.

It s simple be a good trip planner don t be lazy be on time these guys at Bay and Bay will and do support a good driver one of the best companies I ve worked for. My load planners and dispatch treat me with respect. I make a solid income. Plain and simple.

Came to the company with good expectations. On paper they looked good for lease purchase.
I left my previous job because of no freight. In the 3 months I've been here I had to sell one car and my other one is about to get repoed. There is no communication. I had a deer walk in front of my truck at 65mph and it took me almost an hour to contact anyone, constantly getting hung up on, and they frequently leave messages on the Qualcomm unanswered for long periods of time. I don't like giving one star reviews. There is a lot more that I could get but there is not enough room.

To start I would first like to say that the transportation industry in very complex and far from simple. Open minded to the perception of the carrier and the broker Bay and Bay has been a phenomenal broker/asset to my company Prince Jr. Trucking LLC. Chi Xu is my first go to. In the language of football he is the MVP Quarterback. Danielle Hutar Is also very accurate. Overall Bay & Bay is one of the good guys so respect them and before complaining on what they did wrong I challenge you to haul a load for Spot Transportation, king of screw the trucker.

10/31/19 Truck number 2767 parked in handicap truck parking at the T/A in Lodi Ohio. There's gotta be 50 empty spaces at this truck stop but your inconsiderate driver feels so special and entitled that he's gotta be there. Another trucking professional setting an example

Took me off the load because they found someone cheaper

I have a friend who leased a Unit 2862 from them. He got Covid during the lease. They took the truck and never paid him anything. If you know for a fact that nothing will happen during your lease, go with them. You can get Covid or have a family emergency when you owe 1 payment left on the truck and they will HAPPILY keep the truck and resell to another driver. They will even send you a bill that you owe them money. Spread the word

Not available to pay lumper. Stated paperwork was sent to incorrect email although it was clearly on confirmation. 7 day quick pay turned into 2 weeks.they charge $15 to pay a lumper i didn't issue payment for. Hight quick fee of 5%. Rude emails, they don't want talk on the phone. I owner operators don't deal with the bay or you will dround.

Didn't even get the chance to work here because "my recruiter" Brian decided rather than telling me I wasn't eligible, he just quit responding and I had to talk to someone else multiple times before I found out. Thanks for wasting my time. Man up and tell people what's what next time.

Absolutely unaccountable leadership.

They care more about fulfilling their cheap contracts with McDonalds and Mars/Wrigley rather than actually making good use of time. They act like saftey is important yet make their drivers stay awake for over 36 hours straight. They listen to criticism to make themselves feel proactive but ultimately, any issues that are brought up get shrugged off or flipped back at the drivers.

The dispatchers only care about filling their own quotas and maintaining their own reputation. They will use any dirty, underhanded conversational tactic to get people to do things. They don t care about being admired or respected by their subordinates. Many of them have been working there for decades. They won t change, they won t get fired, nothing in management will improve.

Don t work for these people.

Zero stars: After DLarson and Rweber left they didn't Honor my contact, no pay stubs, 3% a miles investment to Co. No pay,

Worked here almost 3 years, what started out as a great career ended with management changes that made the work environment intolerable. Very disappointed in the treatment I received and it felt that human resources would rather wipe the problems under a rug instead of actually confront the problems and deal with it. I finally had enough of the unacceptable and unaccountable behavior and resigned. I would not recommend working here.

Director of Operations Rob Chancey got involved when we were short paid for no reason. Originally they claimed it was because they forgot to pay for an extra stop being added. Then later they claimed it was for not doing tracking, which we were told was not required on that load. He proceeded to tell me how he was going to pay us back no problem, and how we did so much work for them and such a good job that he couldn't lose us. Now it's over a month later and he still won't return my calls and they are refusing to pay for the short pay. Cowards and thieves
