I ordered a bean burger and the patty was floppy and messy. The spice (cumin) was stronger than it needed to be. The vegan brownie was amazing. So I'll visit for chips and salsa and dessert if I ever decide to return.

If you need a nice healthy breakfast at 6 am and don't wanna cook, this is the place to be. Loved the food options, but tried only the vegan bowls and sweet potato fries. The fries were 10 on 10 and you do have options to customize and make them vegetarian.

Very cute breakfast nook in lower Greenville. We had the silver dollar pancakes, sweet hash with bacon and the deep breakfast bowl. Overall everything was very enjoyable. Tip: eating on the patio helps you skip the wait but do it early in the morning as it heats up quickly outside.

Everything can be made gluten free here, but not everything can be made dairy free. Sadly, the pancakes, biscuits, etc. have dairy and can't be modified. I really wish this one tweak could be made and then I would give five stars. Because really, so many GF people are also DF, and it's not hard to do DF. Almost every GF place I've been to, when asked, will also accommodate for DF, but not here. If you are gluten and also dairy free, the options are limited. Still, the servers are nice and if you like eggs you can get one of their bowls, or try the fish and chips (dedicated fryer).

Company cafe is the best brunch place in Dallas if you are gluten free. The staff is always friendly, the food is consistently excellent, and comes out quickly. It is one of the few restaurants I go to, that when I say I am gluten free, I can rest assured that the food will be.

I had high hopes for the GF baked goods at this place after great reviews. I was less than impressed. I had a few bites of the 3 different items I purchased and that was it. When I travel I look for GF places that have high ratings.

My word! Oddfellows has a major competitor in the DFW breakfast world. If you go, you must have the Hangover Cure and the Johnny Rooster. Wonderful flavors and tastes. If there's a wait, stay and have their deliciousness!

Wow! My wife picked this place because of the many gluten-free options for one of our sons. There were seven of us. We all loved our food. Price was reasonable for quality and quantity. Service was second to none. Nothing bad to say about this place.

I took my parents and sisters here whom were all visiting from out of town. Excellent service and the food is quite good. Not only is it healthier, but makes you feel good after as well. Great compliment to the many fun places around the same area!

Update!
Just went again with a group of friends. Everyone loved it. Try the chicken fried steak, $12 mimosa carafe, deep bowl, etc... all good and fresh, quality ingredients.

This was one of the most disappointing locations on greenville, our server was rude and condescending. The fact the it is located with in proximity to h&g supply is also miss leading. The straw that broke the camle back was when i asked for a side of venison sausage and was told there were out, in the back ground you could clearly see the cheif preparing them. When I inquired about it our little hippster server said those are for the chefs personal use LOL ? I get your a hippster and young, and im old and wearing formal clothing so im out of place. Nice job you have now ostracized a customer what did you learn most likely nothing at all .

They said it would be a 30 minute wait but it was definitely less. There are so many wonderful options you normally don't find when looking for gf. I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly our food arrived and it was delicious! My family who is not gf had pancakes and they were delighted! I will definitely be returning. It's so nice to not have to ask a lot of questions when ordering because EVERYTHING is gluten free!

Great vegan breakfast for myself, and gluten free breakfast for my mom. Plenty of options as well for the both of us. Coffee was really good and loved the kombucha on tap. Our service was excellent, server was friendly, attentive, and knowledgable. Very pleased with our experience!

Great food, excellent Gluten free food. I suffer from Celiac's disease so places like this are diamond in the rough. Almost everything on the menu is GF or has a GF option. And it's good. Not I haven't had wheat in 5 years good, but I gorge on the free yeast rolls at a steak house good. The only slightly negative was with the biscuits which were not as fluffy as I like, but they also we're not tasteless and impossible to swallow like you come to expect from a GF bread.

Brunch is also a popular restaurant.
The atmosphere is good and it is crowded with many customers.
The bamboo chicken I ate at lunch was delicious with an interesting taste. Chicken fried on top of the scones, the sauce is corn cream. A soft-boiled egg. It was a taste I had never eaten, but it feels pretty good.
The difficulty is that the toast is very hard and the mimosa (orange juice and champagne) is explained as non-alcoholic.

Food was terribly greasy. I ordered the hash bowl with grass fed beef. Tasted like it was coated in a cheap rancid oil. Couldn't bring myself to finish the dish. Not recommended for those seeking healthy fare.

Love the food here. The breakfast paleo bowl is great, even if you're not trying to follow a paleo diet. Their ice tea is fantastic as well. They are completely gluten free, which is a great benefit for folks who can't have gluten. Many of the items on the menu are items that you cannot find anywhere else and be gluten free. Chicken fried steak for one. Sad that they're no longer open for dinner though.

Love these guys! Amazing food and a nice little patio. The staff is always courteous and very informative Plus they have a great selection of craft beers. They also always have drink specials... which is good because I'm a cheapass.

Edited review... The owner took the time to reply and comment. My wife did however in the restaurant send her food back and say it was terrible. Which in 14 years she has never done, and I barely touched mine. The server didn't even offer to speak to a manager, my wife physically left with our daughter, and I stayed to just pay the bill. I've increased this to a (3) star from (1) for responsiveness, but wait staff should know to get a manager if a customer says what they had was terrible, doesn't want to see a menu, and physically leaves. I still paid for my meal I didn't eat, coffee we didn't drink and left a 20% tip...

Very rarely in Dallas do I experience an established restaurant that is this bad. I ordered the biscuits and gravy and it was the worst... The bread taste like a stale Walmart brand English muffin. Gravy tasted like it was from a can, and the turkey scramble was definitely a microwaveable meal.

My wife's meal was bad enough to just send back and she left to walk around. Unfortunately even the coffee was burnt and bad. Worst dining experience since being back in Dallas.

It's just OK. The array of food options is really nice with lots of delicious choices. But service can be very spotty and the food is somewhat expensive. Portion sizes vary greatly depending on what you order - ranging from this is $15 and this is two meals, to this is $15 and I'm not even close to full. If this place were a brunch option in another city with more competitors, I doubt it would be reviewed as well as it is.

We had brunch here today. Food:2.5-3/5. We had the Migas bowl and the stuffed French toast. I liked the French toast more than the Migas bowl, but both dishes can be fairly easily replicated at home. We also had agave sweet tea, which was pretty darn good. But the $3 price point for the server not offering refills is a bit steep in my opinion. Ambience/location: 4-5/5. Near perfect location and they have a nice patio. Service: 2/5. Our server never checked on us to see how our food was. We had to flag her down for some extra syrup for the French toast. The restaurant wasn't overtly busy. Our server spent most of the time on the computer..I'm guessing she was new, but overall I was pretty disappointed as I felt that their menu had a lot of potential and I expected much better service.

My party of 3 went in on Saturday morning around 1030.We were told tge wait was 30 minutes, which turned into 1 hour and 5 minutes.Yes, they were busy. After being seated, we were informed that at this restaurant, the customer refills their own coffee. (Not a good way to start)They offered bisquits and gravey as an appetizer-Gluten free -uhum-not so much.I ordered a bowl with eggs over medium-I got scrambled. They served my husband's hamburger and fries cold.-I don't think that my family and I will be going back

This place is more of a restaurant than a cafe. The music is loud so it wouldn't be a good place to study. The food however was okay. I ordered eggs Benedict. The hollandaise sauce was a huge disappointment.

Consistent great food and service. Overall great place, only drawbacks are self serve coffee (not big deal) and a bit spendy for the fare, i.e., breakfast food. Great for a couple to eat at but for a family of four for breakfast $80 if you include tip. All that said, I definitely recommend!

Food was great and service was even better. A couple friends had their Benedict's come out late. Not only was their order paid for, but two dessert plates were brought to the table at no charge without request.

My boyfriend and I stopped in for a quick lunch today and everything was great! The food was delicious and reasonably priced and the service was quick and friendly. Would definitely recommend stopping by!

My favorite gluten-free dining in Dallas!

My favorite gluten-free dining in Dallas!

The service and staff here is beyond awesome, most of them have stuck around for years. I enjoy every visit. They don t bat an eye at large parties and I ve never seen them make a mistake. In fact, I ve never heard a complaint about any menu items - I don t think you can go wrong here.
The patio is awesome: a shaded and breezy spot to watch the lower Greenville foot traffic.
So many great memories of mimosa brunches with great friends here. Please try out the Company Cafe if you don t know bout it, it s fantastic!

Company Cafe & Bar is a great place to go to for starters in Dallas, or passersby! I settled for here both dinner hours and breakfast times. Well decorated, nicely located. I did have difficulty finding parking, settled to go on the back lot, didn't have trouble. They have pretty much every seating arrangement, besides the rare balcony seating. Booth, chair, outside, inside, bar, they got it all. Serve all day, relatively early (0800, unlike most in the area if available, which is 0900) til sundown, which is 2100 or 9PM at the latest. Rather surprisingly, the establishment is rarely full to the brim, so you can get plenty of attention from the staff, who are more than willing to work with you. That leads me to my more important note, which is on their options for vegans, as they are limited in Dallas, or rather Texas as a whole, excluding Austin, of course. While looking through menu options, which also the same day or night, food is not strictly breakfast or dinner, they can do it. Vegan options were a few at a glance, but work with the staff and the cafe is your oyster. Moving on, thankfully, the rest of the menu is not broad and ridiculously diverse. Plenty of drinks to be had, local or not, they have it. For the morning summer birds, majority of caffeinated options are not iced, so look elsewhere unless they change. However, I feel confident with their excellent customer service to their patrons, who regular check and are flexible, the cafe can accommodate all.

Great service! The coffee was very good and the breakfast (scrambled eggs, biscuit, fruit) was decent. The fruit could ve been 100% fresh (it felt like it could ve been frozen), the biscuit tasted good, but it was a bit too moist for my taste. The scrambled eggs was really good, with lots of cheese, onions and mushrooms. But they really should consider changing the lighting of the place. They ve chosen a cold type of bulb, while a warmer light had improved the atmosphere considerably! Its not something that decreases the rating, but still...

My all time favorite place.

My all time favorite place.

Only complaint is lack of hours for dinner. I try to make it over for lunch but that can be tough.

I hear another location may be opening?!?!?! Great news.....although I'll still frequent Greenville as DJ's service is unparalleled!!!!
