No social distancing. No masks worn by staff. A little worrying

Great staff, Manager was very attentive, whilst we had to wait outside for our table we was offered drinks while we waited for our seats. Food was lovely, generous portions, overall a great evening. X

Think they ran out of garlic. Meal was a bit bland.

Great atmoshere , service ,food & very nice refurbished place well done to sam and all of his staff well worth a visit you will not be dissapointed

A sense of normality returns! Went to Barolos for dinner last night. Great service, friendly staff, great food, value for money. A very pleasant experience as usual. Care with social distancing measures in place. If you've never been Go. If you have been before , Go again.

Very friendly staff. My steak was cooked to perfection.

The place looks lovely after the refit. The service was brilliant and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I didn't particularly enjoy my pizza though.

Very nice food a bit pricey I thought but the quality was excellent so can't grumble. Service excellent and the choruses of happy birthday have to be endured in every Italian I suppose

Another lovely relaxing visit Yesterday afternoon. Excellent food with very friendly staff, nice bottle of wine with two Steak Diana main courses followed by Black Forest gateau and lacquer coffee.

We have been regular visitors for many years and love the new look, same great food and service in very smart new surroundings. Highly recommended!

First visit since refurbishment, very smart but seemed to have lost it's atmosphere. It was a Sunday night though and not very busy. Staff were brilliant and the food exceptional

It looks nice when entering and has its own car park behind but we were disappointed with the food. Even though everyone was very helpful we won't be returning.

Absolutely delicious food, fantastic service and great atmosphere. They have refurbished the place and it s all new and clean. Portions were plentiful and everything was so fresh, we especially liked the desserts, the pistachio cheesecake was spot on. Thanks

Happy family restaurant with traditional Italian menu.

The takeaway we ordered was terrible and when I complained they didn't care at all and just made up excuses, avoid!

Lovely Italian restaurant. I have been coming here for many years, and it still retains the small family run charm, even after the significant aesthetic changes it has gone through.

Never had a better steak in 58 years! Can't wait to return and sample the rest of the mouth watering menu. Run by a lovely friendly family...no wonder it boasts celebrities amongst the clientele.

Went last night for dads birthday , food ok , staff freindly yes , but a very high octane vibe now , more like being in a nightclub , too noisy for me , the old italian decor with the candles , for me was more authentic , great for parties not for a cosy night with youre loved one, wont rush bach , lalupa on poole quay more my thing , hubbbie said the toilets were fab

Terrible pizza. Base was like something you'd buy from a supermarket, topping was supposed to be 4 cheeses but actually was 4 pieces of brie or camembert? and loads of tomato sauce.
When we first walked through the door, I thought we were in for a very authentic Italian experience. How wrong. I would never go here again. Shame, because after reading all the wonderful reviews I thought it would be 5*.

Amazing food, pizza was excellent, but most memorable is the fantastic and enthusiastic service. That alone would warrant a return trip. Excellent menu and wonderful selection of desserts. Very friendly place would love to visit again.

I'm so disappointed!! I ordered food to home and it was horrible. Pizza was cold and salty. The cheese was stiff. And amount of cheap cheese was just disguising. I ordered something called bread. I thought it will be some nice Italian More

Upon entering there was only a short wait for a table. The atmosphere was calm and relaxing. The food was amazing and definitely worth the price. As I was there on a thursday there was live music. The whole experience was pleasent.

I was lucky enough to be treated to a Mothers day meal last saturday by my son Luke Austin, he booked a table for 7.45, on arrival we were met by the manager & lead to our table straight away, : ) from there on in the staff were so friendly & even tho the restaurant was very busy they still made you feel important, & were on hand to serve & clear the table & generally make sure our time there was relaxed & enjoyable for our special mum/son date : ) so would just like to say A HUGE THANK YOU to you all for making it a special & memorable evening x would recommend highly to family & friends : )
