Great local shop with good selection of new and used bikes and gear. I bought a used hybrid road bike there after testing a couple others with no sales pressure and am very happy. What I like most is Peter isn't like some shop owners who get snobby when you're not there for a $4000 bike. Highly recommended

My family has purchased at least 6 bikes at Barney s since the 70 s.

A few years ago, my bike was taken from my front porch. The would be thief attempted to sell it to Barney s. The shop recognized my bike and called the police. A few days later I had my bike back.

This is the power of a great local bike shop - To recognize a customer s bike, even when the customer isn t present.

The owner and his staff were extremely friendly and attentive even with the limitations of covid. My only regret is not finding them sooner when I first arrived in Worcester. If you need to get a bike, repairs or have questions answered these are your guys

I have an electric bike that isn t any different than a normal bike, besides being powered by a battery. I called the day prior to ask if I needed to make an appointment to have the bike checked. The person who answered the phone told me it was not by appointment, it s a show up and go from there process. So that s what I did the next day. I took the bike down to the shop expecting to have the work done. Both workers I interacted with acted as if they were out of their league. I was told that he didn t have the right equipment to work on such bike. I needed air in the tires, missing hardware, the front brakes repaired, and a chain greasing. Apparently these guys are so incompetent they don t think an electric bike is a bike and they need special equipment to work on it. I m calling their just jealous, lazy and they aren t worth your business. Go elsewhere!!
