Plano synergy acquired them, ruined the company, destroyed the workforce, and are now closing the plant in the US and to make everything in China. They did a remarkable job of ruining a successful company.

Wow, what terrible service.. truly remarkable how bad it is. I needed finger reminders for my crossbow. Barnett site says contact us, we'll send you some. I made 5 phone calls (They never answered any of them.I stayed on hold 45 minutes once just to see how long it would take) and probably 7 emails, to which I got one response. They did eventually send the wrong finger reminders though, so I did get a shipment at least. I have always had a good impression of Barnett, and the bows seem to work fine, just pray you never need service or help from the company.

In October 2015 my grandson requested my assistance in sighting in a Barnett crossbow he had been given. The first time I fired it, it removed the top of my left thumb. It sliced off the end of my thumb including half of the nail and the bone. This occurred simply because there was no barrier to shooters thumb or fingers getting into the travel line of the crossbow string. Barnett has a number of lawsuits against them for this same thing happening to other people. Barnett has recently redesigned some of their crossbows to prevent this from happening when using the newly designed units. However, it's likely hundreds or even thousands of dangerous Barnett crossbows are in circulation today.

Purchased a Ghost 410 with a loose to the point of rattling trigger assembly. Packed bow up at my expense to ship for warranty service. Bow returned to me by Barnett claiming there is no problem with the trigger assembly.

I'm thinking maybe it's called Ghost, because it rattles like a chained ghost? At over a thousand dollars for a crossbow, one would expect a higher quality unit, and better customer service. Please fix my bow.
