Good breakfast. We only had the small one but it was plenty. Comes with Toast, tea or coffee. The coffee is good as well. It was busy but the service was very efficient and friendly. Looked at the menu and there was plenty of choice. The only thing I wasn't keen on is all the dark wood it made the room darker. I will definitely go again..

Good food at reasonable prices & excellent service.

Good food but very inflexible. Outright refuse to swap any items on a breakfast. They let you ask for a swap but then charge you for the additional items without deducting anything you remove. Also they use pots of UHT milk instead of real milk!

From the moment you step foot inside this quirky bespoke cafe your made to feel welcomed, the service is top quality along with the food that s served, your meal is always served with a smile and in super fast time too, tastes good and great portion size, amazingly low priced meals, spotlessly clean where ever you look......All in all would definitely recommend to anyone and will continue to be a returning customer

Great small cafe ,good choice on menu, friendly staff . But only thing was there isn't a baby changing room . But there is 2 toilets ,& I managed to change my grandson !

My favourite cafe in halifax never mind Elland large breakfast every weekend always spot on and staff are great if ur not from the area this is the cafe for u, u will thank me later

Fantastic food at fantastically low prices. Very friendly staff...this is a little treasure. I recommend this place to anyone. Brilliant selection of food too and has toddler cutlery for children.

I have been coming to the barley box every Monday for years with my grandson now I come with my granddaughter too they love it and so do I, the girls are extremely friendly and helpful and the service is excellent. Keep up the good work ladies!
