I don't usually take time out of my day to leave reviews, but the service here was amazing and I wanted to share my experience. I live in Brooklyn and I have a subscription with a raw dog food brand; they hadn't delivered on time during the week of Christmas and so I was afraid I'd have to change my dogs diet for the week while I was with family for the holidays, which can throw off their whole digestive system. I take a lot of care in choosing my dogs' diets and this was causing me major anxiety - two members of Barkley's staff sat on the phone with me and looked through the website of the company I normally buy from to find me a raw food brand they stocked that was the closest match so I could have a family member pick it up. I really appreciated the extra effort and they not only saved me a lot of stress, but also prevented a week of feeding my dogs not-so-great food. Thank you so much!

EXCELLENT customer service! Andy, the proprietor, has an extensive knowledge - breadth and depth - of everything dog. He is well-versed in breeds and their respective unique needs, and animal nutrition. He also has a wide selection of play things. Perhaps most significantly, he is honest about what he can and can't do for the best price, keeping the customer's best interest foremost. AND he delivers!! Online and big box stores simply can't compete with such personalized attention. #shoplocal.
