A little hidden away bar that's great for a drink early on in the night. Food downstairs, but the bar upstairs is much nice with its stags head. As its small it gets an atmosphere with just a few people, but can be very busy later in the evening. Usually a slightly older beardy bear crowd.

Such a fantastic & stylish bar that attracts a better class of customer. Molly's has so many different types of drinks to choose from & they also serve Spanish food cooked by Spanish chiefs.Molly's fun bar staff are so welcoming & friendly, making time to get to know everyone that comes through the door. You go in the bar a stranger & leave as a friend x

Good atmosphere. Food is a bit expensive for my broke budget but tasty. Drinks can also be a bit pricey. Commonly hard to find a free spot to sit as they don't have much seating, especially on a Friday evening. The upstairs area is so dimly lit you have to really squint to see anything, which is a shame as it's decorated very nicely.

My girlfriend and I come here at least once a month; the beer selection is always fantastic, the decor and atmosphere is super homely and comfortable, and the staff are usually chatty and welcoming! It's kinda hidden away too, so there's often space to at least perch a beer on a Saturday evening. Definitely give it a shot!

Good pub with friendly staff. Have a good range of spirits . Only problems are that the upstairs furniture is way past being in good condition. Both sofas are broken. Also, the temperature in summer can get unbearable when it's busy.
Some times the pricing is a bit steep also.

I went here after finding it on Google maps. 1st attempt i got here late on Sunday after getting off the train to find if missed the kitchen :( the food looked amazing though and I returned later in the week and I'm glad i did.

The bar staff were friendly and happily chatted away to the loner perched at the end of the bar. Especially the lovely ale wench.

I ordered 3 dishes from the tapas menu the 1st two arrived i had almost finished them and i was thinking that they had forgotten my enchiladas then they appeared from the kitchen and by the end of them i was absolutely stuffed.

Wood, exposed brick & a good selection of real ales and craft beers gives the place the feel of a hipster bar only without the hipsters

Next time I'm in town I'll be back for sure

I visited the evening of 24-Sep-2020. The waitress was very welcoming and friendly.
I ordered the Mighty Molly Burger which was delicious. I definitely recommend this place as the food is good and staff are friendly.

Great bar, always does a good range of ales and gins and so on, and the staff are really friendly. Would recommend the beartown selection of ales. Irony in a gay bar, but ginger bear is meant to be lovely

Pleasant and quaint pub with friendly staff and a traditional, community feel. Unfortunately the kitchen wasn't open, so I didn't get a chance to sample the food. Nevertheless, there was a decent selection of lagers and craft beers.

Has a "prohibition era" theme to it, one of the few bars in central with a nice balcony area, and the selection of spirits is amazing, they've even for some rather rare to find bottles in stock.

Full marks all round for the drinks, outstanding food (especially the extensive and reasonably priced tapas menu) and attentive & friendly staff.

My only gripe, tbh, is that they're known to turn people away at the door for not fitting their dress code... and it's happened to me, once, on my birthday. I fancied a pre-Zombie Pride cocktail and was told I can't come in, despite the amount of times I've been there previously. This should be reconsidered - it's money in the til, all in all.

A lovely welcoming feel from the minute you step in the door.
With it's two floor levels, a wide selection of drinks this is an excellent venue for a meet up with friends.

If your into your Gins then this is also a great spot, with wide selection from all over the world.

They also have a wide selection of beers they taste so great, but just in case they will allow you have a taster to see if it's for you

Staff where very welcoming and very nice. They will gladly help you find the drink for you.

Overall I had a great experience here and will be back.

I was really impressed by this pub. In the heart of the gay village, this place is open and welcoming to everybody, whether you want a lovely pint of ale, a delicious whisky, or some tapas. The bar area is beautiful, and the staff are really friendly. If I lived in Manchester, I'd make this a regular visit.

Fab little niche bar in the heart of manchesters gay village.

Their huge range of gins and more can be seen behind the bar and the place has a very bohemian fabulousness to it. Very chilled and laid back, and the food they do here to is amazing!

One thing i would love to see them do is install one of them library style ladders and see the staf sliding it along to them reach the top shelves. Would be fab

Cosy pub on a back street in Manchester's gay village. The staff are friendly, it's quiet enough to have a conversation and the food is really good. The chef (who seems to be new) was especially friendly and enthusiastic. Good selection of beers too.

My favourite bar in the Village. A laid back clientele, friendly staff, great vibe, not too loud for conversation, plus an outside area. I've never eaten there, but I'm told it's good. Highly recommended!

My favourite bar in Canal Street by a country mile - a real antidote to some of the sticky-floor establishments in the area. The lively atmosphere is always friendly, the interiors are just the right amount of distressed and the food is worth marking this out as a place to come eat.
