THE best tapas, wonderful choice of drinks and excellent service.
THE best tapas, wonderful choice of drinks and excellent service.
Nice atmosphere and clean toilets! Gets a bit crowded so be prepared to stand but a great spirits selection and friendly staff.
Lovly ambiance great for lovly food the chance you can have tea and some cake and upstairs a lovely terrace
Passed a good couple of hours nice bar and good people
Great place!
Great atmosphere!
Greater staff!
And great food too !!!
xXx
Great design, fantastic beers on tap. Try the Tapas!
A very good place to go. Excellent friendly staff. The tea was particularly good.
A lovely pub in the village with good beer, a very cosy interior and relaxed atmosphere. I've only been there while it's relatively cool outside but the little roof terrace must be great to sit on in summer too.
Friendly staff, great food and a fun atmosphere. Highly recommended.
Really like the atmosphere and staff in here. I've only ever been in for a few drinks, but I plan to try some of the tapas soon
Nice bar, good range of drinks and fresh food available all day. Looking tired now tho, needs refurbished. Hence my rating.
Nice bar to escape the maddening crowd and a great sophisticated vibe upstairs
Brilliant place to eat and drink... Large selection of drinks makes this place one of my favourite places in the village... Really nice atmosphere and decor
Such a cute pub, friendly staff, great selection of drinks.
Strange but good. The food was more than delicious.
The place to go in the Village. Great choice of beer.
This is a brilliant bar with a decent selection on taps and a neat looking tapas and more style menu. Multiple floors and a balcony make this a great venue just off canal street.
I this place. In a way it's become my local. Friendly atmosphere and the food is great. Lots a drinking choices, what's not to like?
Not the most lively bar in the Manchester lgbt village, and that is it's charm. No loud music playing means it is a great way to start or finish the evening with friends, conversations can be had without interruption from music or intoxicated dancers. The prices are standard for the Village and the food selection is on the limited size, but does cater for vegans with a house special range of vegan tapas stye dishes.
Somewhere quiet and chilled for people to have a chat and a drink... Maybe a slice of cake if you really want
Quirky, northern quarter-esque type of place if that's your bag. Great place to meet for dates. One of the classier establishments in the village.
Great pub with a fantastic selection of beer. Staff were lovely and the atmosphere was ace.
Wanted somewhere for a quick drink while waiting for a reservation. Sat at bar and made to feel welcome by staff and patrons. Delicious ginger beer on tap too.
Brilliant little pub, specially for Vegan food if you're looking
Very nice pub with many beers and nice service. Everything your heart desires. We were not there just once during our Manchester visit.
But if wired one only visited the ground floor and it was close to closing so it was strange for it to be so empty in my mind the bar man did a good job of being helpful just didn't seem to be in it the range of spirts was extensive verging on overkill
First time visit to The Molly House
Really lovely place really lovely staff and the locals were friendly
Great bar. Lots of characters. Tapas if you fancy. Ale? They have that too. The balcony is where it is at.
It is simply the best pub in Manchester. The staff are so friendly and attentive. It also has a vast range of spirits, cocktails and ales
Friendly staff, good tapas and a joyful atmosphere who could ask for more.
Nice bar. Staff really friendly and helpful when I left my phone there and came back for it after they'd closed. Also good if you want somewhere in the village that's not got super loud music on in the evening as downstairs is nice and relaxed.
Excellent staff, wide menu and interesting guest beers on draught.
Great food and amazing atmosphere, beers on tap Change regularly so always something new to try
I've been here many times. Excellent food and drinks. Very cosy inside. Staff are polite and friendly. Highly recommended.
Excellent outside seating, good selection of drinks, extremely tasty tapas to share too!
Great choice of Ales upstairs. Just a tad busy at times
Absolutely wonderful food, and the cook seems to know a lot about ways to prepare it.
Delightfully kitsch, Old West-style upstairs bar. Calmer games lounge downstairs but both very friendly. Nice mixed crowd, and an actually secent wine list -- in a gay bar!! One of my top three.
Great and friendly staff, chill vibe. Went in for a drink while having a bad day but got talking to Jordan (?) behind the bar and was laughing in no time. My new fave spot in Manchester as chilled out, not too loud and great conversation from staff.
Really lovely staff and people in this venue however later on it becomes a little pretentious but that's not the venues fault. food is seriously too notch a gay village secret.
Nice place for a weekday place to eat when in Manchester for business.
Easy going and the food was varied and tasted good.
The relaxed atmosphere, and shabby-chic decor make this a wonderfully relaxing place for a light bite in good company after work. The amazing food and the friendly staff just make it, with enjoyable conversational music crowning the experience. Good job!
I've been a few times and was only once unable to persuade my group to go in and enjoy it. They took one look and turned their noises up. The place they took me to was shiny, loud, and devoid of character, with nothing but shots and alcopops on offer, not a morsel of food in sight, and music so loud it rendered conversation impossible. If you're being snubbed by people who like That Sort Of Thing, then you're doing something right.
Cosy, vintage place upstairs, less so downstairs. Can get busy with a good crowd a good drink offering
Geat place for a civilised drink with friends. One minor point is that it xan get very busy so takes a while to be served at bar. But staff are friendly and have a nice banter.
This place is awesome. Food is delicious and choice of drinks is impressive. Only issue with the downstairs area is we were placed their for eating and it was a little small. Saying that the atmosphere was very nice and everybody was chilled out and staff polite. 5 stars if was placed in bigger area.
Nice vibe in here with cute decor and a nice little roof terrace. Definitely worth a visit, but quite expensive. Nice and chilled.
Absolutely love this place! great range of drinks, new ales to try almost every visit, amazing food and a fantastic group of bar staff!!! All of this together makes for a fantastic atmosphere too.
best bar in the village by a long shot!
Nice, topsy-turvy, upstairs-downstairs little place with a chilled atmosphere and a bohemian, intellectual crowd. Prices are fairly steep but then, they only seem to serve premium strength beers at the bar - Not a place you'd want to spend a whole evening if you want to have a night to remember the next morning!!!
Outdated decor , hedious large print of moustached female over fireplace in Upstairs bar. Excessively overpriced drinks. Very unfriendly staff, oblivious of costomers. Lower bar lit up like a surgical clinic. Haven't yet sampled any meals.
Welcoming outside smoking balcony in Upstairs bar, as a nonsmoker , the fresh air is more rewarding than the cold climate from the stuck up clientele.
Been a couple of times during the afternoon for cake and tea. Love the 'feel' and atmosphere of the place. Will be going back soon :-)
Great ales. Friendly staff. Lovely friendly atmosphere
Doesn't look much on the outside but this is a great boozer with a good selection of well looked after ales (see pic!) and decent wine. Oh and also awesome burgers (also in the pic is the vegan option)
Small pub which has got 2 storeys. Food is good at great prices, but drinks can be a bit pricey as compared to other bars around the Village.
Quite overpriced tapas and a bit stodgy! I would say there are much better tapas places in Manchester than this
Nice, casual, cosy ambiance. Two bars on two floors. Downstairs is brighter with bigger tables for groups or those wanting a meal (tapas dishes, cakes are on the menu). Upstairs is darker with an outdoor smoking area. On the third floor are the toilets. Usually quite busy but service is generally okay; not too long to wait. A good place to meet up with friends and chat as there's no loud music here.
A long-time favourite for a drink in the Village. Relatively calm during the week and lively at the weekends. Well-stocked bar but general trend over time for the variety to reduce, including a fairly limited wine selection compared to when the venue opened. Very friendly bar staff and door staff.
Steep stepped access from the street and within the premises reduces accessibility.
