Good food in a nice quiet place! Nice service! Nice lounge sofas! In one word: enjoy!

Beautifully kept restaurant, burgers are top!
Place where you can just have a drink or a delicious meal. Friendly waiters. Rarely seen such a restaurant that is so well located on the beach where food is delicious!

dirty setback at Barbarossa - price quality is hard to find.

The banana leaf fish came with a scant bit of cauliflower, without rice. Other main courses had no fries or anything else, order everything separately.

I returned double espresso, it had 0.0 crema layer on it, and the new version was still so bad.

Dessert order was taken, and forgotten.

Paid almost 200 euros for 4 people (3 adults, 1 child) with friends from the USA. I am deeply ashamed of this type of service.

Incredibly disappointing tent! Don't go, really not! And if you are treated unreasonably, DO NOT pay! Bunch of NEP kakkers! Thinking to suggest something, but this is really not a class! Much more choice in Scheveningen and Kijkduin. Recommended: Pier 32 in Kijkduin - friendly staff, good food and nice location!

Beach bar with just a bit more luxury. Both on the beach, on the hiking trail and on the terrace service.

Recently renovated with that modern sleek en somewhat Swedish feel. Lots of wood and good quality food at fair prices.

Less cozy due to a lot of buzz .. Quite a busy place. Not to quietly eat something cozy with the two of you.

One of the better places to eat at 'Het zwarte pad'. The burgers are very tasty. There is a nice and laid back atmosphere.

Always so cozy here! Nice service, mega atmosphere and good food. We like to come here, also nice when the weather is not so good!

Lovely place to have breakfast. Friendly staff and lovely sofas to enjoy the view. The music is pleasant and nice and quiet. There is plenty of choice on the card and in consultation there is a lot possible about the layout of what you order.

This beachclub has one of the most unfriendly service ever had, besides that, you have to wait very long even on calm moments. Staff is arrogant and totally not horeca schooled, I never go back

Incompetent staff I've never been in a place like this. Place to avoid.

Sunny day, nice sitting on the inside terrace. Helped by Jalisa, they were short of staff we were told which caused the kitchen to open later. Drinks and food were quickly absorbed by Jalisa. But Barbarossa has very inexperienced runners. Who make many mistakes. Putting food and drinks on the wrong tables. Very disturbing. That's why we left. There is a big number on every table! How can you do this wrong in succession ????

Beautiful chic furnished beach bar in Scheveningen. Great room rental with its own bar, terrace and DJ set with good sound for a fun party.

Friendly service, nice atmospheric tent, but price-quality ratio is completely skewed. Omelet bacon (breakfast) are two mini omelettes with 1 piece of bacon on two standard white sandwiches, a leaf of lettuce and a tomato. Scandalous to ask 8 euros for that ...

Great location, amazing place, food seems to be very nice. But service! Seriously!! The worst! I hope managers will see the review and lots of bad stories on Facebook and do something!

For example, fine to be here, again and again. We had reserved in the finishing week for a very festive lunch for us. She wanted to cancel this, but in the end we had a nice and pleasant dinner and Barbarossa made it very well with us!

Location top. Food mediocre. Price / quality severely insufficient

When booking (for 3) indicated that we are not from the same household. We got a small table in the busy half, while the other side of this tent was empty except for one table. On our own initiative we sat down in a quieter place, we could also sit further apart. Staff held my cappuccino at the top of my glass, which is not good without a corona. Fine card and good food, though

Nice street place, but the food is of football club quality. Pity.

Even now, you keep going back there. Great sea and great beach.

Clean and big, the promenade and the shopping center are not far away. However, a bit expensive, as far as the snacks are concerned. Maybe smear a break bread :)

There are lots of good beach restaurants here, Barbarossa is definitely one of them. Good food, nice fireplace, good service. Bit pricey though (eur22 for a chicken curry).

Great beach tent. We had a company party here and that was great for each other in terms of food and drink. The weather was also good so had a great evening.

Sorry to say, but price quality was horrible. 20 snacks for 20 euro, a mediocre burger for 19 euro, 6,50 euro for a bottle of water... location might be okay, but this is just offensive. Also, 9 out of 10 people of our company, were discussed with the coleslaw. Even commented about this, but nothing 'could' be done. Never coming back.

The place is well designed, ***but the service and food is sucks !!!

1.they will blamed u if u want to have a event in their place , ...maybe they are just too busy to have more extra customers.

2.when u need a site , the service will just just keep put gereserveerd signs in front of u on every table , instead of asking u , if u like a table .

3.when u told them the food is not week cooked , especially seafood, they would jut ignore what u are saying, without any sorry or further communication.

Very spacious also in view. In heat you can choose from roof coverings above your head. And the view in some places? Magnificent!

Today wonderfully sat at Barbarossa! It was a sunny day with a lot of cleaning on the terrace. We had one of the best spots and got a lot of help from Lissy. Very thoughtful and delicious food! Greatly enjoyed today and will definitely come back with my friends.

Food is very little, but pricey. The place itself is nicely decorated and has an excellent location!
