Great place to watch the sunset in summer. Good cocktails and excellent snacks, therefore don't expect low prices. Staff well motivated if somehow chaotic.

Nice beach tent that is still reasonably priced. However, the ministry needed some time to see my two friends and me. Despite the fact that we had been assigned a bank. Not quite the intention, because a quarter of an hour waiting to order a beer is a lot, especially when it is not really busy

Cool bar to hang out and relax. I really like the food on offer, especially the very well prepared fish! Sitting, having a drink and eating with friends, across the sandy beach to the sea, cooling off briefly and starting over. It is also not far to the dunes and because of the slight "remoteness" it is not that crowded.

Flammkuchen very salty. Limited food options between 4 and 530. Service nice.

Terrible service, found multiple insects on the mint leaves of my drinks. They even refused to give me back my money for both of my drinks.

Ideal if you don't like the more 'piratey' places on this end of the pier, as the service is more sleek and chic. It's mostly down to decor, attitude, and speed though, as the food and drinks aren't quite as spectacular as the prices suggest, and I'd say on-par with many of its neighbours.

This is a beachjoint that I'd consider a 'safe' option. Plenty of space inside if the weather's bad.

My dad and I went here for dinner. Food good but also pricey. But you should come for the view.

Had a beer. Only had a drink. Beer was ok. What disappointed me was that all tables were already set at 3:30 PM. It just seems that you can dine there alone. I'm talking about the tables a bit higher. Except for 1 large low table.

Cold (!) Small hamburger for 20 euros, dirty frozen fries and a handful of lettuce. Too ridiculous for words that this is served for this amount.

Perhaps the most beautiful beach tent in Scheveningen.

Yesterday we asked if we could reserve the comfy beach beds in front of the bar but were told that this was not possible. This morning we arrived at the bar around 9:30. Half of the beds were still empty but carrying "Reserved" signs! When asked why we were unable to reserve while it was obviously possible, we got the blunt answer that the reservations were only for "family and friends".
Bad moove!!
Needless to say we cancelled our plan to spend our Sunday at the bar (and spend lots of money there).
If you think "family and friends" are more important than your customers, you can go and f**k yourself!
Never again!
(On a side note: the place is overpriced anyways!)

Smoothies were disappointing, very watery. I previously expected a nice thick fruit drink, looked more like fruit juice. In contrast, the location is top

Very nice beach club. Children can play while you're relaxing in the sun. (double) Sun beds for 8 per day are a good deal, I think!
Food is good as well, however, tiny portions for the price you pay. Service on a Saturday night (wedding at the same time) was not so good unfortunately.

Sun, sea and beach, what more could you want! Good food and drink of course, then you are in the right place at Barbarossa. Had dinner there yesterday evening, beautiful menu and the products are prepared with fresh ingredients, the service is spontaneous and friendly. Definitely recommended for lunch or dinner on our coast, and certainly recommended for business purposes. We will be back for sure!

Really super well eaten! Fresh tuna pizza and the tournedos is highly recommended. Top wines and fine service.

Bread was rock hard and the amount of tapenade was sparse.

Beautiful, tasty but pricey and messy. Delicious sat on the beach with great Flamkuchen. Every order came through well but the runners were looking more than finding ... Eventually our Mojito and cola ended up at another table and was quickly drunk (and therefore not paid) while we had already pointed out the service. No action and we could wait another 10 minutes for our drinks. Too bad otherwise certainly 4 stars.

At the end of the dy this place is lovely, nice vibe and beutiful sunset.

They have already been dismantled by the people of Meerkerk Houtbouw bv. So wait until March 2021.

Cool atmosphere and decor, but unbelievably inattentive service. Very unfriendly and unhelpful waiter. Has spoiled the whole mood .. but apparently you can afford it here.

Nice beach tent with attractive furniture and smooth service. The food is good quality and not too crazy expensive for a beach. It is a short walk from the northern end of the promenade.

Very good! Tuna salad is a must. Service is attentive and gives advice.

The food is slightly different in this nice beach bar, delicious home eaten. The service was attentive. A highlight among the many mediocre beach bars in Scheveningen.

Barbarossa Beach is a beautiful beach club on the lively Zwarte Pad of Scheveningen. After reading some reviews I plan my visit for breakfast. I am personally disappointed. We were served pancakes that seemed exactly of the Ah quality. The waiter indicated that they are home made. I really have doubts about this !. Staff members are friendly, menu is extensive. Quality of the dishes we ate, Poor, not on taste and quality was far to be found. Maybe better next time. For now we will skip Barbarossa for the time being.

Relax on the beach. Nice and quiet at the end of Scheveningen beach.

Food was ok, but totally overpriced. The conditions were friendly when they did not react after about 15 times then they came to the table.
