Good food and delicious on the beach at the Zwartepad.

Expect to lay on stretchers and not the blue beds ( they are only a few and taken/reserved.) Stretchers for 10. Umbrella 15. Music is bad (music at WOW is much better). Staff is friendly.

Good place, good food, nice terrace. Operation may be a little faster. Coffee is nice but the waiting time is a bit long. It is a nice place to spend and they have the sound of the music excellent for each other: clear and never disturbing!

Very nice location on the beach, however the restaurant personnel is not very professional and the food is average and overpriced. Un bottle of wine of average cost 7 was charged 28. I will not go back.

My favorite of the beach clubs/restaurants so far. It s a really nice looking place with good music and the food is also quite good. It is pricy but no more than I d expect to eat and drink and lounge beach front. The service was on par with what I ve come to expect from the Dutch in that the staff is friendly but a little slow/disorganized. But, again, that has been my experience at every restaurant or cafe in the area that wasn t fine dining. Overall I d definitely recommend for a sunny afternoon.

Nicely designed outfit on the beach. Lounge chairs outside, tables for dinner inside. Great food!

Beach restaurant with a varied menu, very cozy terrace and nice staff, prices are very affordable.

Little choice of dishes where some things were also available with the excuse that the end of the season. I find it bad for a company that runs under Dutch standards I mean hello the port is not even 5 minutes away! Get your fresh fish! Furthermore, the staff need to learn to breathe a little more and enjoy the moment, they forget certain things and breathe out some air, even when there is no workload, so just team building and discussing the work stress with each other, good for yourself and the guests .
There is nothing wrong with staff and the looks of the restaurant, only some mental coaching during work pressure would be good for the quality!

Reserved table hoping a nice evening with good meal. Forgot order 35 minutes later they found out. ordered dish was not to eat ... mullet fillet in banana leaf really nasty .... baked potato as a side dish almost raw ..... once but never again.

Worst place ever. Would not recommend it. There was a bouncer that was extremely rude to me and my group of people and literally pushed us out of the place, by grabbing us from our shoulder extremely strongly because we were trying to pay our entrance and were waiting till our friend got the money from the atm. Basically one person told us to wait in a place while our friend got the money from the atm and the bouncer just grabbed us by our shoulders EXTREMELY RUDE. Not sure if it s because I am Latina. Whatever you do, don t come here

We were at its restaurant.Very nicely located, North sea view. Welcoming, warm staff. But was very busy & crowded although on a working day! Very loud DJ music. Food was very delicious.
Overall, a nice place to be in, noisyness & stuffness... maybe it's all about my age

One of the more fancy places, comfortable seating and good (although overpriced) food. We had some great times here. Unfortunately service level exponentially deteriorates during peak hours and nothing is possible (incl a simple decaf coffee) and be ware: tap water is highly priced (they charge Euro5.50 for a liter, even with 37degrees outside ).

I got raw chicken as food. And not polite and friendly staff. Is not advisable.

Visited on a nice day, so busy. Not all staff may take orders. Fairly pricey (nearly 20 for a burger) also in relation to quality. Nice attractive location with nice places.

Good place to take something but you go flying with the air

Enjoyed 3 days of a relaxed sunbed, chill music and a nice atmosphere, certainly worth repeating!

We have never had food / service so bad.

Restaurant chosen based on reviews online and menu on the website. Ultimately, there appears to be a new map that is minimal. In addition, half was out of stock and sold out.
Ordered appetizer and main course. Main course came before starter.
We quickly ate the starter because we were hungry and it took a long time. After this, the main course was offered again after 3 minutes. This was cold and has been kept warm in the meantime. Side dishes not provided.

Having main courses remade and this also took a lot longer but was fine in the end. Unfortunately without side dishes because they have never been served.

Ultimately a downer on a beautiful day. Not recommended to eat here. Very Disappointing !!

Place is nice, but the food and service is not so much. They also manged the worts gin tonic of my life.

Not what we used to. Food took 1.5 hours while we were with small children. Mussels full of sand and the crispy children's fish (according to the map) was a lukewarm and half-cooked piece of sea bass. The vega burger of 19 !! Euro totally made it .. Outrageous for such a boring piece of meal. Fortunately we still had the jugs of tap water a 4.50 with a stray strawberry and a piece of mint .. Early on it was really fine food here sin / disillusionment. Next time we walk a bit further.

One of the nicest beach clubs in Scheveningen, the owner is a hard worker who is passionate about the business. There are always surprising parties with a nice crowd, I like to come here. Barbarossa here, incidentally, few Germans, that is probably due to the name.

SIX euros for a carafe of tap water with a slice of lemon and not prepared to make a scrambled egg for lunch for a toddler of one and a half because that is not on the lunch menu. Shame on you!

Nice location, definitely a visit if you are on the black path on a Friday or Saturday and you are looking for a chic nice place with good hip music

Just great that they are not in control of the rain

When you get there they tell you the beds are taken and it is needed to reserve in advance on a sunny day. But when you call to reserve they tell you the policy is they do not reserve beds in advance. And then you go to the beach and find beds with the sign reserved . I think the money comes in too easy to still provide service.

Well eaten, deliciously seated and enjoyed a nice summer evening .. Delicious!

This year the beach chairs cost 8 and are not counted towards consumption. That was different. There is no children's menu until 5 p.m. ...

9 euros per person possibility to buy alcoholic beverages even meals 4 wheels 15 minutes possibility to buy vip as an attraction super I'm afraid of heights but after the second wheel I already took photos we were with 2 small children

Bad business. Staff aggressively suspicious and drink the worst beach tent in Scheveningen not to mention the price.

Despite a small error in the reservation system, I was still able to get a table late. Top service! Fast and of good quality. The food of high level and on taste. Enjoyed very much!

Nice clean terrace. Good food with an extensive menu and friendly staff. For a reasonable price. And with the setting sun a perfect place to end the evening

From March to October Beachclub Barbarossa is on the Zwarte Pad in Scheveningen. The extensive menu contains very stylish dishes for lunch or dinner in luxury on the beach. Because fresh and beautiful ingredients are used, the price is sometimes higher. If you want to spend less, then the flammkuchen with fresh tuna or Parma ham is definitely recommended. The interior and exterior are mainly in white ecological beach house style and exude atmosphere as well as tranquility. Suitable for a romantic dinner for two, but also large groups are no problem.

The Black Path is mainly visited by the locals, for tourists it is more difficult to find. But I'm trying to explain. If you stand on the boulevard with your face to the pier (the one with the ferris wheel and bunger jump) then you walk to the right until the boulevard stops. If you see the Carlton beach Hotel on the right, you turn left onto the beach and walk along the concrete path along the Beachclub to Barbarossa.

One of the better beach restaurants in Scheveningen. Good food, good service. We had the Barbaburger and the Barbasalad. Both good although the salad was a bit too small.

Cozy! Good dinner with katie my first wife i love her till dead!
