Great place to drink with your friends, recommended variety's whiskey it's amazing
2oz of wine for $15. Spent $56 and left hungry. You be the judge. Great atmosphere there .
It's a great bar for drinks and tapas. All the plates we had we quite good. The atmosphere is great with the beautiful interior and the service was excellent.
Very original place and friendly staff. But. Being honest - it's very pricey. Be ready for it. But it was worth it.
Could get quite busy but it's worth waiting for. Drinks are amazing including their orange wine selection. Also, if you're an olive-lover, you'll love their marinated olives.
Very cool bar, tasty tapas and quality craft cocktails.
Not bad, but the place is very small and the prices are a little bit high
Excellent spot for unique and refreshing drinks and of course, delicious Spanish tapas! The restaurant had a beautiful wooden interior, which is all the worthwhile. The space fills up really quickly, but it is definitely worth the wait!
Good place to go get some drinks and hangout. Their food options are limited, but everything they have is quite good. It gets very busy here so keep in mind there might be a waitlist.
Waited for over 15 mins for no service not even water offered and it wasn't an overly busy time at 3pm Sunday. Looking at the menu during this time I remarked how expensive the tapas items were, the whole point of Spanish tapas is supposed to be small, quality but good value. We left after being ignored.
Little taste of Spain in heart of Toronto. The serve authentic Spanish bar tapas in great setting.
Wow. Went here for a research ending celebration and it was better than expected. My partner assured me the kitchen bread is excellent (pickled fish are not my thing) and the mushroom tower was simplicity and excellence. We had a couple cocktails each and they were all imaginative and compelling. An excellent space so beautiful a bride and groom crashed the place for some pictures while we were there. Not the comfiest so plan on going elsewhere after.
Heated wait area and really nice staff - cool menus, great vibe! Highly recommend
The interior is nice, the food is decent. But the place is definitely over hyped.
Great food, cocktails and service. Gotta try the mushroom tower.
Great decor in the interiors section. Love the Gaudi inspired designs. Good spanish wine collection and tapas.
Food was nice. Had the smoked mackerel which was great. Used to come with three slices of bread but now only two. The eggplant was a bit heavy on the fried. The staff could have been friendlier as they didn t even see how we were doing for about 20 minutes. The drink menu is decent - not the greatest selection but ok.
Fully packed, vibrant cicktails, quite an experience!
I just hope they invest some money on making a better visible sign with the name of the bar!!and add more sitting area! That's it,because wanted to sit and i couldn't.
Good atmosphere and great decor. The food is good as well.
Beautiful interior, great service, expansive bar list, and delicious food. We will be back for sure.
Cool atmosphere. Very small - be prepared to stand in their covered outdoor patio on busy nights - chilly.
Love the decoration, it reminds me of Barcelona. Spend a lovely night here with someone really special.
Get the kitchen bread. Yah, you. Stop reading and order the kitchen bread, in fact get two. Start there and you'll be in love with Bar Raval.
Bar Raval is a treasure. When we got there last night, there was a wait list to get into the main bar, but the service and food and drink is the same outside. You're simply trading an enclosed patio for a warm wooden bar.
The bartenders are masters at their craft and the food is delicious. I hate tapas with a passion as a concept because it often ends up just being small portions of a dish for the price you would pay for the rest of it. But, Bar Raval does a great job of making these plates unique and not just miniature versions of something you want to eat. We tried the Tomato Bread, the Kitchen Bread, the Ham and Cheese croquettes, the quail with almonds and the burger. They were all unique, but I would put the Quail at the top of list, followed by the tomato bread and croquettes, then the burger and the kitchen bread. Please understand, these were all great and I'd get them again, but if you wanted to know favorites, there we are.
This bar doesn't need to be as good as it is. The quality of the cocktails and the decor and food would guarantee it would make all of the lists anyway. The face that the staff here was so kind and friendly made it really an incredible evening. The way they would search for stools for one of us to sit at the large barrel tops was so kind.
Run, don't walk to this place and don't be afraid to stay outside if the wait is long.
This place has the best cocktails in the city, and the food is amazing. It's tapas and ponchos, so the plates are small and shareable, but that's a good thing because you'll want to eat everything!
One of the most gorgeous bars in the city and the cocktail menu matches that perfectly. Food menu needs experience to navigate as some items aren't worth the money; but what is good is bloody good. Wine menu is dull but is a sherry drinkers dream. For all the wood inside, youd think it would be a little bit more cozy. Will continue to frequent for the solid consistency.
Yes it's a small space with limited seating, but I can't say enough good things about this place. The food is amazing, the drinks are delicious, and the staff is always attentive and polite despite the crowds. This is our favourite place to celebrate a special occasion.
Whoa. Very cool bar. Super friendly staff, delicious drinks, interesting interior. Will absolutely stop by the next time I'm in the area.
Interesting space, a bit less dynamic than the photos, but still pretty awesome. Great, novel cocktails. Very busy when we visited late afternoon on day-after Boxing Day.
No seating when I went. Food was only ok but incredibly expensive.
I came here one night for tapas and cocktails but unfortunately was on a tight schedule so I couldn't spend as much time here as I would have like. Very unique ambiance with warm lighting, good background music, and interesting decor and interior. Would have liked to see a little more seating (I got lucky and was able to snag a stool). I ordered a cocktail which took quite a while to arrive (in fact the food arrived first). I ordered the sobrasada and the croquetas but was only able to try the sobrasada (which was fantastic) due to an error on the servers end. However, server acknowledged error and i was only charged for the cocktail so I can't be mad at that. Over all first experience was slightly lacking but I am still curious about trying the food/cocktail menu so should I revisit Toronto I will probably go to Bar Raval again.
It was ok .. food presentation is not same unfortunately
I love the decoration. It s so good and it s all wood. It s a very small bar but the ambience is awesome. They don t have that many chairs to seat on and it s a very good place for spending a night with friends and have a chat. Their drinks are good and they have cheese cake too.
Just had a few drinks with friends. Drinks were fine, lots of TVs for the game. Service was really slow even though they weren't that busy.
Having recently visited Barcelona I was itching for some tapas and decided to check this place out. Food comes out quickly and steadily and is authentic and tasty. The Gaudi look of the space is cool too. Will return soon!
Great for a short meeting. Drinks & well prepared food will not disappoint you .
I will be there again.
Good cocktails, however very pricy. also its mostly stand up only.
Nice vibe good drinks but too much for price of overly iced and minimal content of drink liquid maybe wait for ice melt.
AMAZING COCKTAILS. Didn't have time to eat but have heard the food is just as good! Chill atmosphere and beautiful wood work inside. Staff also wonderful.
The bartenders at Bar Raval are experts at constructing customized cocktails. The atmosphere and decoration are mezmerizing. This place is perfect.
Food is great, service is fast. The decor is absolutely beautiful and the ambience is very lovely. A great wine selection and delicious cocktails. Pricey but It s totally worth it though. They also have a patio!
Beautiful bar with amazing hand crafted drinks. Perfect little tapas style bar food.
Thank you VERY much Tara, Chris, and crew. We love the restaurant. Food, Drinks, and atmosphere are sexy. Have a great year!!
Nice cocktail bar with lot of creation with Tio Pepe, not common in cocktail
Atmosphere bar !!
Most of them are small foods so you can taste them
The cocktails are also delicious !!
Tunabelly goes well with the chantail.
Very lively but also provides a great atmosphere to go drinking with friends. It's a bit pricey but certainly a wonderful experience.
Delicious food. Great atmosphere. Perfect spot for a client meeting, or an evening with your lady friend.
Great atmosphere. Over priced tapas. Better as a bar scene.
Locally sourced bread. Good charcuterie. Beautiful millwork inside. Sets a wonderful aesthetic and culinary tone to match the other atmospheric bistro on this strip of College: Kalendar.
this bar has the most beautifully designed interior i have ever seen in a bar, the wood design is just incredible. the food is pricey and you can barely get in on a weekend so don't try or you will be crowded and disappointed. go on a slow weeknight for a drink after work.
the ricotta/boquerones toast is incredible, but like i said, the food is pricey, and this appetizer is just two small pieces of toasts, four bites max unless you're a nibbler. but it is very, very good!
Great little piece of Barcelona! The tapas and pintxos are amazing, the coctail selection is very nice. I especially enjoyed the galician octopus, beef tartare and !!! tomato bread (a simple but delicious Barcelona staple).
The atmosphere is cosy and lively, the decor is very unique, the music is just the right volume, the service is quick, friendly, and attentive. Had a great time!
A little piece of Spain! Amazing food, wonderfully inventive cocktails, spanish-inspired architecture and decor. Great service, highly recommend.
Great service. Good cheese cake. Drinks prices could range high though
I went for some bites and cocktails with a friend, the service was great and the food was so yummy. The mushroom tower way my favourite for sure, the bread it bathed in some warm salty sauce that I want to live in for the rest of my life. The ambiance is so lovely, a really special place. I look forward to going again :)
Great place and great service! My every minute was awesome
Thus place has really cozy patio and I loved their taps, We tried 2-3 of them and all taste great, probably not a great option to go as group, also eventhough they have great cocktails but their beer selection is so limited and I wish they had more options.
Proposed to my fiance here because it's our favourite place in Toronto. Everything from the service, decor, cocktails and food are on point.
Nice place. Friendly service. Good suggestions on drinks and food.
Interesting. Quite over priced for the small portions. We had the tuna pickle Gilda(9.25$); Stracciatella & Boquerones (10.75$) ; oysters(3$/piece). The stracciatella plate was the one that stood out and was amazing- I just wish there was more... very small portions. Staff wasn t able to narrow down a recommendation.
Great cocktails, food and atmosphere. Perfect spot for a get together with friends. The Mushroom stack is amazing!
Bar extremely nice. Staff very helpful and full of good advice
Started strong but fizzled. Needs to be a team effort when it comes to selling. They couldn't keep up with the empty glasses on a sunny afternoon. The kitchen is always on their game.
