Excellent spot for unique and refreshing drinks and of course, delicious Spanish tapas! The restaurant had a beautiful wooden interior, which is all the worthwhile. The space fills up really quickly, but it is definitely worth the wait!

Waited for over 15 mins for no service not even water offered and it wasn't an overly busy time at 3pm Sunday. Looking at the menu during this time I remarked how expensive the tapas items were, the whole point of Spanish tapas is supposed to be small, quality but good value. We left after being ignored.

Wow. Went here for a research ending celebration and it was better than expected. My partner assured me the kitchen bread is excellent (pickled fish are not my thing) and the mushroom tower was simplicity and excellence. We had a couple cocktails each and they were all imaginative and compelling. An excellent space so beautiful a bride and groom crashed the place for some pictures while we were there. Not the comfiest so plan on going elsewhere after.

Food was nice. Had the smoked mackerel which was great. Used to come with three slices of bread but now only two. The eggplant was a bit heavy on the fried. The staff could have been friendlier as they didn t even see how we were doing for about 20 minutes. The drink menu is decent - not the greatest selection but ok.

Bar Raval is a treasure. When we got there last night, there was a wait list to get into the main bar, but the service and food and drink is the same outside. You're simply trading an enclosed patio for a warm wooden bar.

The bartenders are masters at their craft and the food is delicious. I hate tapas with a passion as a concept because it often ends up just being small portions of a dish for the price you would pay for the rest of it. But, Bar Raval does a great job of making these plates unique and not just miniature versions of something you want to eat. We tried the Tomato Bread, the Kitchen Bread, the Ham and Cheese croquettes, the quail with almonds and the burger. They were all unique, but I would put the Quail at the top of list, followed by the tomato bread and croquettes, then the burger and the kitchen bread. Please understand, these were all great and I'd get them again, but if you wanted to know favorites, there we are.

This bar doesn't need to be as good as it is. The quality of the cocktails and the decor and food would guarantee it would make all of the lists anyway. The face that the staff here was so kind and friendly made it really an incredible evening. The way they would search for stools for one of us to sit at the large barrel tops was so kind.

Run, don't walk to this place and don't be afraid to stay outside if the wait is long.

This place has the best cocktails in the city, and the food is amazing. It's tapas and ponchos, so the plates are small and shareable, but that's a good thing because you'll want to eat everything!

One of the most gorgeous bars in the city and the cocktail menu matches that perfectly. Food menu needs experience to navigate as some items aren't worth the money; but what is good is bloody good. Wine menu is dull but is a sherry drinkers dream. For all the wood inside, youd think it would be a little bit more cozy. Will continue to frequent for the solid consistency.

Yes it's a small space with limited seating, but I can't say enough good things about this place. The food is amazing, the drinks are delicious, and the staff is always attentive and polite despite the crowds. This is our favourite place to celebrate a special occasion.

I came here one night for tapas and cocktails but unfortunately was on a tight schedule so I couldn't spend as much time here as I would have like. Very unique ambiance with warm lighting, good background music, and interesting decor and interior. Would have liked to see a little more seating (I got lucky and was able to snag a stool). I ordered a cocktail which took quite a while to arrive (in fact the food arrived first). I ordered the sobrasada and the croquetas but was only able to try the sobrasada (which was fantastic) due to an error on the servers end. However, server acknowledged error and i was only charged for the cocktail so I can't be mad at that. Over all first experience was slightly lacking but I am still curious about trying the food/cocktail menu so should I revisit Toronto I will probably go to Bar Raval again.

I love the decoration. It s so good and it s all wood. It s a very small bar but the ambience is awesome. They don t have that many chairs to seat on and it s a very good place for spending a night with friends and have a chat. Their drinks are good and they have cheese cake too.

Having recently visited Barcelona I was itching for some tapas and decided to check this place out. Food comes out quickly and steadily and is authentic and tasty. The Gaudi look of the space is cool too. Will return soon!

this bar has the most beautifully designed interior i have ever seen in a bar, the wood design is just incredible. the food is pricey and you can barely get in on a weekend so don't try or you will be crowded and disappointed. go on a slow weeknight for a drink after work.

the ricotta/boquerones toast is incredible, but like i said, the food is pricey, and this appetizer is just two small pieces of toasts, four bites max unless you're a nibbler. but it is very, very good!

Great little piece of Barcelona! The tapas and pintxos are amazing, the coctail selection is very nice. I especially enjoyed the galician octopus, beef tartare and !!! tomato bread (a simple but delicious Barcelona staple).
The atmosphere is cosy and lively, the decor is very unique, the music is just the right volume, the service is quick, friendly, and attentive. Had a great time!

I went for some bites and cocktails with a friend, the service was great and the food was so yummy. The mushroom tower way my favourite for sure, the bread it bathed in some warm salty sauce that I want to live in for the rest of my life. The ambiance is so lovely, a really special place. I look forward to going again :)

Thus place has really cozy patio and I loved their taps, We tried 2-3 of them and all taste great, probably not a great option to go as group, also eventhough they have great cocktails but their beer selection is so limited and I wish they had more options.

Interesting. Quite over priced for the small portions. We had the tuna pickle Gilda(9.25$); Stracciatella & Boquerones (10.75$) ; oysters(3$/piece). The stracciatella plate was the one that stood out and was amazing- I just wish there was more... very small portions. Staff wasn t able to narrow down a recommendation.

Started strong but fizzled. Needs to be a team effort when it comes to selling. They couldn't keep up with the empty glasses on a sunny afternoon. The kitchen is always on their game.
