Bangladesh Olympic Association (Bengali: ; IOC code: BAN) is the National Olympic Committee representing Bangladesh. It is also the body responsible for Bangladesh's representation at the Commonwealth Games. Its president is the Bangladesh Army chief General Abu Belal Mohammad Shafiul Haque. Bangladesh is the largest country by population that has not won a single medal in the olympics.
Bangladesh Olympic Association was established on 1979. Saidur Rahman Dawn in 1984 competed in the Los Angeles Olympics becoming the first Bangladeshi to participate in the olympics. It held its first annual general meeting in 2017. The General assembly was chaired by the president and 49 members of the assembly.

I saw this building when our bus was in trouble because of engine damage. We passenger got down and saw this nice building. I hope this has been doing much for Bangladesh. I wish the continuous success of this association.

Subject to the controls of the International Olympic Committee, the BOA is responsible for organizing its people's participation in the Olympic Games. The BOA was organized in 1976 and got its recognition in 1980. The organization works for the development and promotion of the Olympic Movement in the country. At the same time, it provides support to the government for the development of sport in Bangladesh, maintaining full autonomy in line with the IOC Charter.

In Bangladesh BOA plays a major role in developing and nurturing sportsmanship, sporting events and activities related to the development of sports. BOA works closely with other government and non-government organizations while retaining its autonomous identity. The BOA maintains cooperative relationships with governmental and non-governmental organizations in order to best benefit the sports of Bangladesh. In short BOA strikes to improve quality of sports in Bangladesh while spreading values of Olympism. It is so far affiliated to a total of 27 National Federations (NF) and National Associations (NA) that includes both Olympic and non-Olympic sports. Bangladesh is the breeding ground of amateur sporting clubs. Various sports of the National Teams are selected from the inter club competition and from the National Meet of the respective sport.
