Nice place. Sermons by some pastors have gotten to mainstream. Including talking about rap artists as if they were good role models. Other preachers not bad. Sticking to the scripture would be better.

The church is amazing the services they provide are priceless anyone can attend them the PTO program is amazing if you ve got junk in your closet and need to work them out it is a must!

I came in looking for a new church home and j think we have found it. My kids love kids city, and I can come as I am and receive spiritual guidance I look for weekly.
Been going here for a few months now and I really love the worship team. That's one of the big things that drew me toward the church right off the bat. The pastors are very knowledgeable and definitely teach with passion. Love hearing the word of God spoken here and I really like the video cafe as an option for viewing the service. The greeters are amazing and are always smiling and shaking your hand as you walk in the doors. The cafe personnel do a great job making sure we get our morning snacks so that we can enjoy the service even more. Worship team is always doing an awesome song list to get me pumped for the message to come. It often seems like I'm at a Christian music concert (which is probably one of the things I liked about it). Pastors do a great job keeping the audience engaged in their message. I always take something away from each service. I was very critical while trying to find a new church here in San Antonio ( last church was Calvary Monterey: If you're near the area in CA please go check out pastor Nate, he is an amazing man of God) and many other services in the area for whatever reason weren't the ones for me. Ultimately God speaks to everyone differently and will lead you to the church you should be at, but I think that City Church is definitely a great place to look.

They had numerous Charity Organizations visiting seeking volunteers. Giving back and helping people is important to BRCC. Accepting of people without prejudice... Not self seeking. They dress casual.
I love this church! I always feel like the Lord talking to me when pastors speak!

My wife and I were both raised Catholic. Everything was always so ritualistic and we got burned out. My wife found city church and I have to say going to church seemed like a chore before but now I look forward to Sundays! Everybody is so great here, kind, accepting and understanding! If you feel like you're somewhere you are welcomed or made to feel like you don't belong, swing by and catch a service. You will be surprised.

It's almost like the preachers know exactly what ur going through in that point of time in your life and the message is so great and enlightening. You don't have to get dressed up to listen to God's word in this church. Come as you are

I really enjoy service at City church. The message is easy to understand and I like learning from the bible. The message is true to scripture but it doesn't make you feel unaccepted.

I am not a big church goer but, I do enjoy going to this church. They have a awesome cafe that sells coffee while the church is doing it's church thing. Pretty awesome place.
City Church is where I go it hits home for me I feel at peace and welcomed. All the pastors are wonderful. My favorite pastors are Brent Saathoff, John Pyle, John Witte, and Johnny D. The signing is amazing and wonderful.
First time going and loved it. I able to get my husband go and that is a blessing.

Attended 830am service this past Sunday. I'm from out of state on vacation and looked for a church similar to my home church. God gave Pastor Brent words for a great sermon although a bit short then what I'm used too. Worship music was great and up to date. A little loud for the size of the auditorium, but great nonetheless. I did initiate conversations as we do at my home church regardless if we know them or not, however I did feel a little out of place as no one came up to me for conversation/fellowship. All in all.. God's word is God's word and I would still attend here. Fellowship is encouraged
I love the live music and every service is a message. Come as you are no matter race, color, gender, culture, likes or dislikes, age, back ground, married , single, divorce, common law, rich, poor, short, tall, skinny, over weight, disabled or not . Jesus loves you for who you are. Amen. Its my birthday and i am spending it with God. Amen
First time here... it was ok... wasn't too crowded... found one handicap spot... i wasn't crowded in by people... but the music was a little loud... good singers but didn't know any songs and i listen to Klove... so it was hard to feel the Holy Spirit... sermon was good... key points, good topic and examples... it was lil warm... my daughter has trouble breathing... at Freedom Baptist Church the pastor always ask if it's too cold or too warm... my daughter has special needs so i have to make sure she's comfortable... would go back but maybe during the winter if the heater isn't on...

Love this church when U am visiting San Antonio! They have day care & make their own coffee & pastrys. Everyone is friendly & laid back. You can wear jeans & t-shirt & feel comfy there. Pastors word was right on & it felt like it was "just for me". I'm glad I got to visit them & will keep going back.
This review deserves best beyond words. I've made this my home church. I'm the type of person who church hops if I don't feel comfortable. I feel a church is not supposed to judge, but only talk about Jesus, God, and how to better ourselves. Not only do they do that, they also have programs to help anyway they can (PTO, Feed SA, KID City/daycare during services, etc.). If your like me and just want to get to know God and feel his presence again, come to a service. THEY HAVE A COFFEE CAFE! Let there be no excuse not to come... we love you, GOD LOVES YOU! Please, let us help you find God again.
