You know what - they have always been friendly when it comes to residential parking stuff, they offer free parking in the Arena garage. From my limited interaction, I would hope other city agencies follow their lead.

I do not understand why the Baltimore city parking authority vehicles get to park in pod parking spaces and not pay. Shouldn t they be required to pay or park in other areas so they paying customers or people who need the spots can use them? This is a major flaw and needs to be fixed immediately. This is specifically an issue on redwood street in Baltimore. As I type right now there are 4 spaces taken up by parking authority vehicles. Don t understand it but needs to be fixed.

I've been in here three times for getting parking permits and visitor passes. It's honestly more pleasant of an experience than you would imagine. They're efficient and friendly and you won't spend much time in here. Just bring all the necessary documents the first time. They validate parking in the garage next door too.

As always, it super quick and easy to get my residential parking pass, I was done in less than 5 min. Just read the website and bring the right documents. They validate parking for the arena garage, so really easy to get in and out quickly. Big thanks to Justan who is always friendly and helpful!

I needed two visitor parking permits, but did not realize my case would turn out to be complicated. Fortunately, I had Mr. Steve Robinson, manager of residential permit parking, helping me. He was extremely courteous and patient. He explained the issue and suggested how we might resolve it. Thanks to his excellent service, I was spared the trouble of making another trip and able to get the permits in the end. Even though it took us probably triple the usual amount of time, Steve stayed polite and pleasant, always reassuring and understanding through the entire process. I was blown away by his outstanding service and professionalism. Thank you, Steve!

Very disappointed that the elevators were broken, and no stairs in the same location. Had to walk half way around the block to reach the stairs and than walk up to the 6 level. $20 event parking just to climb up several flights of stairs.

The experience is really quick, you get in + get out. They're not very friendly on the phone so I've been forced to go in person multiple times for a permit. They also say they validate parking for the Arena Garage but they always tell me I parked at the wrong one so I always have to pay. Kenneth, one of the cashiers is mad rude! He comes across like he never heard of common courtesy + he has a bad attitude about everything so AVOID HIM if you can but everyone else is pretty nice.

I got a $40 speeding ticket. It was mailed as if it was a red light camera ticket. How do you know how fast a car travels based solely on a camera? If you don't want to at least have police enforce the law then don't give people tickets through the mail.

2. Off-street garages - We operate several off-street garages throughout Baltimore that offer hourly/daily rates as well as monthly permits.
3. Residential permit program - If you live in an area with restricted on-street parking zones (RPZ), you may be eligible for a residential permit that allows you to park within those zones without time limits.
4. Event parking - We provide event-specific parking options near major venues such as M&T Bank Stadium or Royal Farms Arena.
5. Towing & impoundment services – Our team provides towing & impoundment services when necessary due to illegal parked vehicles blocking traffic flow or emergency access routes.

What We Don't Do

It's important to note that there are certain things that we don't do:

1.We don't issue traffic tickets – That responsibility lies with law enforcement agencies such as police department
2.We don't handle appeals – If you receive a citation/ticket from us which needs appeal process then it should be done through Maryland District Court system
3.We don't provide valet service – While some private companies may offer valet service in certain areas of downtown Baltimore but it's not provided by BCPA.

Parking Meter Holidays

We observe several holidays throughout the year when metered street-parking is free-of-charge:
• New Year’s Day
• Martin Luther King Jr.’s Birthday
• President’s Day
• Memorial Day
