Horrible place..If you are going to spend time in jail, I suggest Snow Hill,Md

The beds were kind of rough but the residents were pretty nice. 3 stars

This county jail was absolutely fabulous. I really enjoyed my time there. My cell mate was very charming, we had a long discussion about the wire, (a tv show based in Baltimore). It turns out we had a lot in common. My lawyer made it quite clear that I shouldn't disclose any further information regarding my past.

Very confused regarding the negative reviews. The staff was very thorough when it came time to locking me up. The strip searches were slow but efficient and very effective, the gentleman beside me seems to think I lacked
a lot of affection when I was younger, not quite sure what he meant by that, but I'm sure he meant well. the backtalk from the officer wasn't half as bad from what I'm used to dealing with.

I highly recommend this place for anyone considering spending a night in jail or weeks or months. This place has a lot to offer, a gym, three square meals a day, A plasma TV, very big, not quite sure the size of it but everybody seemed to be happy watching it. A games table that brought a lot of joy to many peoples faces. the guest can be quite charming as well, as long as you keep your mouth shut and your head down nobody should really notice you.

Overall, I have to give this place five stars. I'm looking forward to my return in the near future, I just got to think of a good crime to commit so I will be eligible to get back in. And if you happen to be shopping around for a good tattoo artist there's plenty in this place, they seem to specialize in the ones that go-round your neck or on your neck, I'm not quite sure, somewhere close to your ear. So save yourself the money and you can get a real bargain at this place.

Rude, mean, impatient employees. Not that they care at all. Lol. In fact, If I was a betting girl, I'd bet, they pride themselves on their ability to make people feel even worse than they already do. It's all good though, karma will surely catch up to em'.

absolutely terrible. the staff is so incompetent and rude, the real crime here is how absolutely useless and clueless the staff is. I don t know where you find these people, but you ve done a great job of making navigating this system not only a living hell for the incarcerated, but for the people visiting as well. just because you hate your job and are miserable doesn t mean that you have to be rude to everyone else too. absolutely disgusting place.

My friend beckett went there for bombing an orphanage. he said it was great.

If I could I would give this here place No Stars , I wouldnt wish this on my Biggest opp Lol food is horrible place is always over filled. Plus its jail ofcourse it's not a good place the staff are not good people no better then the inmates

If I could give it zero or less stars, I certainly would. So disorganized, and communication between departments is almost non-existent. Scary, scary place to be - so frustrating.

Long wait for inmates to come down. The facility also is dirty and very nasty and unsanitary

even when u show up early for visitation, the senior citizens behind the counter work the clock n u STILL run late on seeing your friends...even Balt City is faster, and thats saying something!

my friend talbot went there and he said it was good but they were super physical and he went there for taking a cat from his neighbors house.also he had to spread his cheecks to make sure nothing was in there. Not to fun but still 5 stars

My friend likes it very much there, she misses her pets sometimes though

Suggestion: All correctional institutions should teach civic responsibility to inmates by giving instructions or independent study time for any environmental issue: industrial illegal dumping, the water supply, plastic trash, air quality, water quality, need to take care of and plant suitable trees, honey bees, poisoned gardens and the need for food among the poorer classes, etc. not really been to Baltimore correctional facility-just had to rate to publish this suggestion.

Jail is not cool place to be. I don't understand how people say have respect there. I love my freedom never been in my life. No jail is safe at all.

This is jail so of coarse its no country club BUT they should take some pride in their jobs and actually DO their jobs instead of sitting on their assess eating (THE ENTIRE SHIFTS) .. the only person that had any compassion towards anyone is actually the judge!!! I'll never forget this 1 corrections officer wish I knew her name looked as if she had a yellow poodle On her head (made it very obvious they don't pay much!) SMDH

Terrible place to be. The staff is rude and uncommunicative, the facility is dirty, the food is foul, and the mats you sleep on are disgusting. I didn't even get a bunk to sleep on. My block was overcrowded so I was in a cell with 3 people and had to sleep on the floor with no pillow - just a blanket and a plastic mat. Awful.

Common institution where employees abuse their power and hardly know how to their job.

Decent food options. Rooms are a little dated but not bad if you are only staying the weekend.

Pleasant welcome the fellow inmates including very nice I spent 2 years and I recommend this establishment the only downside the beds are not very comfortable my sheriff's supervisor are very nice and long live Trump

Staff have been rude to deal with. Carrying on at the front desk, with of useless chatter unbecoming of employees. No professional attitudes. It was like being at a fast food place. This Detention center needs a complete oversight! So far I've been appalled at attitudes and care. My daughter asked for underwear after 13 days and could no get, she was also in her menses and refused pads. Her list if weight is noticeable. No supplements. Is this because she is the true minority ? It's only 11% white, is that the reason?

The staff was polite and it was clean, even though I didn't visit. Just took money to the machine inside
