Great breakfast, good rooms, a lot of road noise, internet was slow

Good place to stay. Near the beautiful lake "Baltezers". In it in large quantities is found: tench, pike and perch. Works in the complex - hotel - hostel - health center. Good only for tourists - avtomabilistov, because in the forests that surround this place there are almost no footpaths. Only paths. There is a wooden pier, the entrance is not only for visitors, but for everyone.

The hotel is clean The surrounding area is beautiful. Parking on the spot.
It is great that they allow dogs to stay. Ask for the dogs requirements before reserving.

The kitchen is gorgeous. The setting is magical. The view is amazing.

The dogs are charged with a big hand although they took care of our own table from the terrace where we brought the dogs along when we went to eat. Someone wrote for a fee of $ 100 if the dogs go to bed but we are not provided with paper. Good food and easy stop on the way to Europe.

Nice hotel not far from Riga. Pleasant service. Spacious rooms. Hearty breakfast. Beautiful view from the terrace in the restaurant during dinner, at sunset over the lake. Near the area with wooden walkways, benches and a playground. 100 meters from the hotel is Lake Baltezers. You can rent a boat. Near the water club, where you can get professional instruction and water skiing.

Never recommend going there. While the order went completely wrong on booking, the receptionist did correct the mistake by offering another room- suitable for a dog (on the booking it did say they accept dogs), which was fine at the beginning, we did accept the apology and another offer. Full credit to the receptionist.

However, it got completely wrong when we found out we are not allowed to use the main facilities by the lake, or had to use the staff route to the main swimming point, moreover, no staying at the outside restaurant with the dog.

I would also note extremely rude and unhelpful restaurant staff who were not able to fully explain why the dogs would not be allowed into a restaurant and why there is a difference in 'small dogs are allowed'.

If the hotel (which is together with a restaurant as a one entity) is offering a stay with dogs and advertising as accepting the dogs, would they not train the staff properly. Would you not offer a restaurant stay with a dog at certain tables then? A one night stay for a dog (labrador) costs 30 euros. Makes me think that owners of this place lost their mind.

A huge thank to the receptionist though, she went an extra mile for helping us.

I used the SPA service. Spa ritual for two. Of the indicated 1.5 hours, the procedure actually ended 15 minutes earlier, taking into account that we were 10 minutes late. Having made a massage (I would call it rubbing the cream into the body, not a massage), they lifted me from the couch 3 minutes after completion. After they brewed the hibiscus, and they did not let him finish, they said: "girls, please dress up, we have the next entry."

Kind service, good breakfast, but most importantly: a good choice of tv channels, even viasat sport (!). There was also a YouTube icon and a chance to connect to the TV with BT, which I didn't try. I liked the interior and atmosphere.

The waiter is too confident in himself and decided not to carry the wine list, but to tell about the wines himself, but he mumbled in reply to the answers and kept adding that he would clarify whether there was this wine. We took advantage of the "Gourmet Leisure" campaign (if I am not mistaken with the name). Dinner was served in the room. It surprised and hurt the eye that the waiter was in jeans and there were personal items in his pockets - a phone and a wallet. It was strange, as if the person ran for 5 minutes, or no uniform. It's good that I was in a shirt, not a T-shirt.
The waiter offered no tea or coffee for dessert. Of course, there was a kettle in the room and we made drinks ourselves, but that's not the same. Let me remind you that we lived in the presidential suite.
Breakfast was also served in the room. It is strange that the breakfast was a little warm, although it was covered with foil, strange that it was not cloche.
We were very much amused by the cheese plate with fresh vegetables. This board consisted of two thin triangles of cheese and one piece of cheese of a different kind, next to it lay a couple of pieces of chopped cucumber and tomato. The cheese was cheap. The second, cheese and meat plate, differed only in that instead of vegetables there were two pieces of ham.
The declared steamed vegetables turned out to be frozen vegetables, such as assorted.
The fried bacon was as if fried at least 15 minutes ago.
The chef put his hand to the sausage in another portion - it was artistically cut.
Pancakes, bread and thermoses with coffee and boiling water were ok.

Overall, the place for the insole. However, there are a number of drawbacks - the LUX room has plastered walls, a rich and very tasty breakfast but butter pack 4 days as expired.
