Beautiful venue. Wonderful staff. Could not fault anything
Beautiful place, just attended a wedding here, everything from the food to the buildings and how the grounds are kept, I really can t find fault. 100% recommend this for the picturesque perfect wedding venue.
Really nice place, looks great in day time and night time!
Ideal private wedding venue, farmhouse and manor, beautiful food
Beautiful scenery, was here for a wedding and was so impressed
My daughter got married there on the 21st of May fantastic staff and wonderful place
Great spot for a wedding but the loft for the civil ceremony was like an oven. Food, surroundings, rooms etc. all excellent.
Beautiful venue. Staff friendly and accommodating. Children made to feel very welcome. Lovely rooms and facilities.
My Husband and I had our wedding and civil ceremony at Ballymagarvey Village in October 2019. The venue is absolutely beautiful, there are so many picture-perfect locations for photos and the banquet hall is stunning. We attended open evenings in advance of our wedding day to meet with vendors and to work on details, each time we were warmly greeted by John and Oliver who answered all of our queries and were very professional.
I got ready at Ballymagarvey with my bridesmaids on the morning of my wedding and Lisa Hewitt was exceptional, she took excellent care of us and went above and beyond to ensure our bridal breakfast and preparation went perfectly. Caroline was our event manager on the day and her kindness, responsiveness, and expertise are just a few things on the long list of reasons she was incredible. The bar and banqueting staff were attentive to every detail and the food was fantastic, Oliver was brilliant and ensured that our top table and all of our guests were happy, he is a credit to Ballymagarvey and really puts your mind at ease with so much happening on the day.
I would warn couples to be very clear on the terms with regard to room bookings as they are quite inflexible. We had some very disappointing experiences with Fiona on the reservations team, as did a number of our guests. We had called on a few occasions to book rooms and to make amendments, Fiona was incredibly rude and quite defensive, on one occasion she stated that she knew her job and refused to cooperate with one of our guests who needed to cancel a booking two weeks in advance of our wedding as their child minding arrangements had fallen through. We were embarrassed to receive feedback like this from friends before our big day and it was a cause of concern for us as other guests were traveling some distance to stay on the night of the wedding. Most upsettingly, a very sentimental item has been lost, a wedding cake knife used by my parents to cut their wedding cake was to be put out for us to cut our own wedding cake. This knife was never put out at the time of the cake cutting, nor has it been recovered since the wedding despite our request to locate it. As my mother had passed away a few years ago, she was not present on the day and the wedding cake knife is still missing, my family are very upset by this. Rachel G was our wedding coordinator, she managed the details and timeline for the day but I couldn't help but feel that sometimes we were just another couple passing through, the next morning when I approached her about the missing cake knife she seemed preoccupied with preparations for the next wedding and said she would call me to follow up, she never did.
Amazing place . JUST STOP WITH THE FECKIN FIREWORKS I CANT SLEEP IN MY HOUSE!!!
The whole venue and service is top class, defiantly worth staying at the venue
Amazing location for any event. Was lucky to have stayed there. In one of the few beautiful rooms in the main house. Staff could not have been more friendly. Food was super & plenty of it. Band was deep. So be careful on that one make sure you hear their set before engaging them.
This venue is a perfect choice for all kind of weddings!. The couples looking for something unique and elegant, will not be dissapointed. As a wedding photographer, I felt extremely peaceful and relaxed working at this venue, which is located in a beautiful countryside. There is something magical about getting married away from the noises of the city, and this venue is ideal if you are looking for a little bit of serenity. The catering is also very high quality. Can't wait to visit you again!
What a beautiful setting and space. We stayed recently for a friends wedding and would agree that the grounds and buildings are spectacular. The reason for the 3 star review is for the staff members who seemed particularly rude and dismissive. Having arrived at 2pm to find that none of the rooms were available until after the ceremony at 3pm and that we had nowhere to get ready was a bit of a disappointment. But I didn't expect then to be lectured as to why this was the case and that I should have read my email... even though I booked over the phone. The staff obviously have this issue with every wedding and instead of finding a suitable solution take it out on guests. The venue is great but the staff are clearly wedding weary and no longer care to make the day special for any of the guests.
beautiful setting for a wedding old country manor where the stables and outhouses have been totally renovated and the courtyard landscaped into a beautiful garden with a long flowing water feature. there are also lovely walks around the estate.
located between ashbourne and slane it is easily accessible from the dublin area. staff are friendly and welcoming. At night time when the lights are switched on, take time to notice that in some of the trees there are full chandeliers dding to the fairytale landscape.
i'm not sure if it's open to the general public or is used exclusively for weddings so check in advance before you try and visit.
Nice place, customer service good. Dinner good but can be a miss at times. A very good wedding venue.
Beautiful venue for a wedding. Food was fantastic and the staff top notch.
Fabulous place..... Nothing is a problem that can't be solved by excellent staff.
As a wedding band performing nationwide the past 17 years, we meet a lot of staff behind the scenes at these wedding venues. All whom do amazing work to keep the whole day and night running smoothly. Ballymagarvey Village is no exception, always a pleasure to perform there and the staff make it easy for us to get our equipment in efficiently and provide a perfect venue for an amazing wedding party!

FAB wedding venue and the staff couldn't have been nicer.
We had booked our wedding with Ballymagarvey a year in advance, but unfortunately my partner s mum passed away suddenly 9 months from the day. My partner decided she wanted to have our wedding closer to home and her mum. The team at Ballymagarvey were extremely understanding of our situation and supportive of our decision and allowed us to leave the contract, which we greatly appreciated. Thanks to the team at Ballymagarvey (and in particular Brianan) for your understanding and help throughout our dealings.
This is a wonderful venue warm lovely staff very friendly and homely
Attended a wedding there 2 weeks ago. Excellent service and food first class
What a great venue. There for a second wedding and it was fantastic. Staff are excellent and very helpful. Lovely function room and bar next door.
Looking forward to going back.
Great spot, lovely walks outside and beautiful food, drinks inside
Very rude and didn't know different choices of ID manager was very very rude and got quite aggressive because we asked about menu
one of the best wedding venues I've been to.
Great location, lovely views. The building are great. Some of the room are a little tight, but if they are just for resting your head they are perfect.
Great food and great service. Would go again
A unique and beautiful wedding venue. Every staff member was extremely helpful and the food was unbelievable. Great reviews from all of our guests. The accommodation is beautiful too. This is not a cheap venue but you pay for the service you receive. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a different wedding venue.
Beautiful setting for a wedding and caters for everyone's needs.
Perfect wedding venue, stunning rooms. Well kept gardens and the attention to detail is exquisite. A venue that has the look of a show house Pristine gardens with a 5* feel. I didn't get to see it all but I can't wait to be back sometime to really check what it has to offer, who knows maybe I just might stay the night (I wish)
As a Wedding Videographer I have had the pleasure to work in Ballymagarvey Village a couple of times and the ambience and service is 5 star. All of the couples i have worked with had nothing but praise for the service provided and everyone runs out of superlatives to describe their food. The food here is out of this world. You just have to experience it!

Pure decadence. Amazing food. Beautiful venue. Lovely staff. Indulge yourself.
Beautiful place and an ideal setting for a wedding venue
Beautiful place for a wedding. Difficult to find reception.
One of the best wedding venues I have ever been to. Absolutely stunning. Staff we so helpful at every point
Visited for a wedding last month. Very impressive grounds, beautiful house. They appear to do nothing but weddings although on the web site they point to yoga and other weekends. Food was very good as was service. Great attention to detail. It s a pity about the function room in that its long and narrow and the bar is in a separate area, the wedding crowd split a bit and only a few were dancing, but thats the only negative .
An amazing venue, staff and service excellent highly recommend for wedding venue just beautiful.
Insanely rude staff spent every moment of the night rushing us along and barking at people. Venue is beautiful though. Such a shame
Charged me for a room I didn't even stay in, very dishonest avoid at all costs.
Beautiful venue, beautiful food and lovely friendly staff.
Stunning Venue specialising in Weddings and Corporate.
Out of this world, Top class, best wedding venue in Ireland
Beautiful place, with delicious food and friendly staff!
Was at my brothers wedding here yesterday and I have to say it was absolutely brilliant the venue is stunning the pictures don t do it justice at all. The grounds are beautiful they have gorgeous lights outside with music playing all evening and fires lighting have never been in a place like it. All the staff are fantastic couldn t do enough for everyone throughout the whole day I had a problem with a booking I had made and the receptionist helped me sort it without hesitation I think her name was Aine a blonde haired lady she was so nice about it .we were lucky to get one of the rooms in Lisa s secret garden it had a kitchen in it the room was spacious warm spotless and beautifully decorated with a comfy bed . The food was beautiful and presented really well it is like something from a fairytale Could not rate this place highly enough absolutely fantastic can t wait to hopefully attend a wedding here again. Thank you so much to everyone from Ballymagarvey village for a wonderful day
