My parents and their friends booked a party bus to go out this past Saturday night - a group of about 20 people. Unfortunately the driver was extremely unprofessional and was FaceTiming his girlfriend during the drive and calling my parents and their company stupid Asians right in front of them! EXTREMELY disrespectful and racist.

Everything was good. The only thing that was missing was the red carpet. Other than that the driver was on time and helpful. This is a warning to the public do not use this limo company ! They are crooks. I specifically asked if the cars were newer and if they were functional... the owner said they were.. of course they upgraded me to the hummer which upon arrival had a broken air conditioner... we were sweating like pigs! We asked the driver who was oblivious to our concerns to please call for another car that has a working AC.... he never did. They dropped us off at our first location and never sent a new car. Then they tried to bill me for extra hours. These people are scum and honestly the paying public should be warned. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY OR YOU WILL BE EXTREMELY DISSAPOINTED ! My next move is to call the department of business regulation and have them shut down for fraud!!

The owner called me and told me my card was declined. He spelled my last name wrong and that s why the card declined. He cursed me out on the phone and humiliated me in front of my guest. He threatened to call the police and get my guest and I off the bus. After all that 30 minutes later the payment went through and he never once apologized for how he spoke to a WOMAN!!! He ever over charged me on the price! If you do business with this horrible company check your account and make sure he doesn t over charge you by accident .

We had a bachelor's party for my brother and it was chaos. Since day one I was very pleased with the customer service of this company. You can tell they really care. Most of our plans were made up on the spot and a lot of it had fallen through. We had a mix up in the scheduling and the owner personally picked us up in a limo to take us around town. He was very accommodating and extremely professional. I never give reviews on anything I do but this company merits one. I would recommend them to all friends and family.

I called around to a few places for a party bus. Ballantyne Limo had the best price and offered soda, water, and cups. And unlike the other companies, Ballantyne allowed us to bring liquor on the bus and snacks... which was necessary for a 5 hour rental! The bus was in great condition and the driver was very kind and flexible. We were able to hook up our own music and the vibe was exactly what we were looking for. The bus was ideal for our group of 13 adults all in our 20s and 30s. We were able to party, drink, and club hop all night without worrying about driving or paying for over priced drinks at the bar. We even lost our phone on the bus and they made sure to get it back to us! Their customer service was amazing! I would highly recommend using Ballantyne Limo for your party bus needs and I m sure Emil (the owner) would be just as customer service oriented with any of his rentals.

My wife and I had to fly in a family member for an unexpected health issue for another family member. The staff and Emil, could not have been more professional, caring and understanding with our issue. If we could give more than 5 stars, we would.

I have used Ballantyne Limousine two times. The service is excellent. This last time I had been travelling for 30 hours. The driver called me right after we landed before we had reached the gate. It was a very short wait once I had my bags to get picked up. The company emailed me the name and phone number of the driver before my last flight. The driver was very professional, courteous and helped with ally bags at the airport and my home. This company is not the least expensive but dependable and professional and the cars are clearly labeled with company name. I will continue to use.

We rented a limo for our daughters birthday party. The service was first class and the girls enjoyed themselves. Emil was great to work with. He made the girls feel comfortable and we all had a great time!

The gentlemen I spoke with to book our limo for our wedding was extremely nice and helpful and on top of everything. Our venue address was already in our contract and available to the driver. When the driver came (sounds petty, but it's a wedding!!) he didn't even open the doors for us. He asked where we were going and didn't have the address or know how to get there. Our photographer led the way thankfully. When he dropped us off he parked in a rocky area (again- heels, wedding, doesn't make sense). When he went back to the hotel to pick up the guys, he apparently again just seemed to have no idea was he was doing. Even if it was his first day on the job (seemed like it), he definitely didn't try to hide it.

Ballantyne limo did not show up to take my bridesmaids and I to my wedding so we had to uber to the wedding and the wedding started very late. Apparently the limo was at the wrong address and they couldn't figure out how to make it right even though we were calling them and they were allegedly down the street. They eventually arrived to the venue where I was getting married at which point I no longer needed them after they let me down on the biggest day of my life and they will not refund my $200 deposit. Do yourself a favor and do NOT use this company.

Poor customer service, unprofessional, driver got lost -- we had to use our own GPS and vastly overcharged us! Skip the hassle and go somewhere else.

I am always pleased with the service. The drivers, especially Fred are prompt, helpful, pleasant and friendly. My husband has mobility issues so they are always very helpful making sure he is well taken care of. We have used this service since we moved here six years and have always been pleased.

DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!!!!!!!!!! Would rate no stars if I could. They tried to scam is 450 after we tried to cancel the service 48 hours in advanced. They said we signed a contract for the service and that we couldn't cancel because it was for prom. Horrible service very rude and disrespectful and unprofessional!

Promised waters and ice which wasn t present Limo driver said there was no Bluetooth when I was told there would be Driver overall not very friendly Charged me more then the quote bc I was 15 minutes over (we were taking pics with the limo and I thought the driver was okay with it- but then he added that time) I called and they wouldn t even refund me the amount they charged over Overall not a good experience.

I booked the Ballantyne Limo for my wedding day to get my bridal party to the venue. They were GREAT! very professional and they were 10 min early to pick us up! I would highly recommend and the price is super reasonable!!

DO NOT USE! I booked a black on black limo for his birthday and I was sent a old rusted up limo that was all dented up on the outside badly. I rented a limo for a nice experience for his birthday and that is not what I got. The driver was very nice and polite. But the limo was not nice at all! It was old, outside had dents and dings, rust on the outside. The doors didn t even stay open unless someone held them open. The interior was old and you had to push so hard on the buttons to make anything work. The car bounced so much because the car was old and probably needs new shocks. Hard to enjoy drinks or anything while inside the limo because it bounced so much. The tint was stretched out and lifted in places. They limo was extremely dated and worn out and not what I was expecting at all. I never would have thought I would be sent a car like that when you rent a limo. My car is nicer than the limo that was sent. I was really looking forward to a fun surprise for him and I was embarrassed when I saw the condition of the limo. But we all went in it because I already bought tickets for the six of us for a play and then dinner after. The total I paid was $525 and I gave the driver a $20 tip. Had the limo for six hours. I am extremely extremely disappointed with the car that was sent. I was embarrassed by the condition of the limo and that was my birthday surprise to him. I called and emailed the owner Emil about my experience. He was not helpful to resolve my issue and only offered me back $75 dollars as a refund. Extremely rude on the phone. Don t use Ballantyne Limo, search elsewhere!

I used Limo ride for a bachelorette party in Charlotte NC and I was so glad that I did! I was super impressed with the quality of the limo and the level of service. Our limo driver, Matty, was so professional and courteous. The girls were asking me who they were and where I found them. They were also very affordable. I got married a month ago and I wish I had used this place! We were all very happy with our choice to go with limo ride and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM TO YOU!!

Do not use!! This experience was so bad I had to make sure I write my review the day after my wedding. When first arriving, our driver did not introduce himself nor did he show us the settings for temperature or music. As soon as the music began it was booming on 10 and let me tell you that was not pleasing for a few of my guests over the age of 65 yet alone the younger crowd. Not only that but the driver rolled up the partition and did not attempt to tell us how to cut the music down. After knocking on the partition to get his attention he kept pointing to the back as if we knew how to control this limo. He finally made an effort to get out the vehicle and cut the music down for us. Before we took off he asked us what the address was for our wedding location. At this point, I m really concerned. When we arrived to our location he did not open the door for the guest which were exiting the vehicle. During photos after the wedding ceremony I realized I left my wedding jewelry in the limo and I sent my sister to get it out of the limo, but the limo was locked and the driver was no where to be found. I had to borrow my sister s wedding jewelry in order to take decent wedding photos. I was informed that he was in the shuttle bus which was parked directly beside our limo. If he was in there, I m quite sure he noticed people trying to get in and made no attempt to get out to see if he needed to unlock the doors. We told the driver we were leaving at 3 to get to the reception. When we got in the vehicle it was extremely hot. We warned him 30 min in advance if not longer when we would be leaving and the driver still was not prepared. Either that or the limos are horrible. We mentioned to the driver that it was hot and he shrugged it off like he didn t care. We got in hopping that it would cool down but it didn t. What puts the topping on the cake is the Manager Emil contacts me as if he is concerned and he made an excuse for everything. He even put the driver on 3 way to talk this out and that went way left. The manager said it was probably hot in the limo because of the time of the day! So this means if you plan to use their services make sure it s not in the summer or even fall during the peak of the day if you want to be comfortable. (I purchased their hummer limo and shuttle bus btw. The hummer was the one with the issues) What upsets me more than anything was I spent over $1k with these folks for 2 vehicles and not at one time did they try to make it right. If anything they charged an addition $100 because drop off when over 25-30 minutes. Which I would be obliged to pay if services were good, but they weren t. The Manager even said after the conversation ended, so you mean to tell me your main complaint was the music being loud? Why didn t you call me? The last thing a bride is thinking about is calling a limo service on her wedding day. But I will let you know I had time today! I told him my main complaint was the entire service as a package and if you don t understand that being in the Management field then you may want to reconsider running a business.

Ballantyne Limo is a top-notch limo service. Emil was so great to work with and really worked out a ton of details for us. He was able to coordinate everything from reserving the right limo for our needs to getting us picked up at the time we wanted. He had to go through a lot to make that happen because we did not give a lot of notice, but he made it all happen. Also, he was so good at communicating with me and giving me updates as he made progress and giving me all the details. Fred was our super awesome chauffeur for the evening and we enjoyed our limo experience so much. Fred was so attentive to our requests and so nice. It would not have been the same without him. He took our pics and had a great picture spot, even rolled out a red carpet! He took us everywhere we wanted to go, was prompt and most importantly very kind. I misplaced some money at one point and he helped look everywhere for it but it ended up being in one of my bags. We appreciated all of his help all night and the limo was the most awesome time. We highly recommend this company and Emil. If you want a special night out done right this is the way to go. Thanks again for everything and making our night so memorable!

Our driver Ben was amazing!! He displayed the best customer service. Very kind and he really meant it, great driver. We loved him! Thank you Ben!! I took three stars off because the A/C wasn't working properly (only blowing warm air) which resulted in us choosing to end our night an hour early and return home because we were soooo hot. Emil decided to charge us full price anyway. Which we absolutely do not appreciate, since there was an A/C problem. I will avoid using this company for airport transfers because I'm not sure about the air conditioning and now I know that I'd be charged full price even if it wasn't working.

Used this service on Oct 14th. Easy process and had one of the best drivers. I enjoyed it!! I especially liked the different payment options to choose from. Didn't necessarily agree with luggage charges already being included (Unless i read the fine print wrong) being that I wasn't getting picked up at an airport and had no luggage. When I called for a ride to the airport on short notice the man who I spoke to was extremely accommodating. I think it must have been the owner. He had a car at my door the next morning at 5 AM. The driver was very polite and got me to Airport ahead of schedule. When I returned another driver met me in the terminal with a sign with my name on it. He was as polite and professional as the first. Both cars were brand new sedans that were clean and devoid of any odors. I would recommend this Ballantyne Limo service for anyone needing a ride to the airport.

Emil was so helpful from the moment I booked the service until he dropped us home after our trip. We were four children and four adults traveling to and from the airport. We needed car seats and Emil was so cooperative in meeting our needs. I recommend Ballantyne Limo very highly. Our driver to the airport was also very helpful with my family and many pieces of luggage.

I requested a forward facing car seat for my toddler. However, the car that arrived did not contain any car seat. I had no other travel options so was forced to ride with my toddler fastened by standard seat belt outside of safety standards. When I complained and requested compensation of some kind, I was refused. I will not use this company again for any services.

Booked a party bus weeks in advanced and on the day of the services they canceled 2 hours prior to my pick up time due to "the bus being broken down". It was a HUGE inconvenience due to me not being from the area plus I had friends from all over that flew in to come to Charlotte for my event and had no transportation. They did not try their best to give me fair options to accommodate us and there was no discount offer for the inconvenience.

Shame no refund of deposit due to shelter in place. Our sweet 16 plans were cancelled by the resturant so no choice but to cancel limo. Was ttold no deposit returns. When I said we will go then, he said not driving.
