The new gym equipment in the weight room has made it much nicer to workout here since the racks can handle many different types of exercises. I pay for it in my tuition, so i may as well use it.

Bathroom allows you to reminisce about the people who have been there before you. Toilet paper is made to be sheer, allowing you to be able to see through your mummy costume. Automatic bidet is strange addition in a public restroom, but makes me feel clean. Overall 3 out of 5 plys.

Awesome place to go if you are a student, all kinds of activities for you and your friends. Soccer, volleyball, basketball, racquetball, ping bong, gym and still tons more! Even if you're not a student its only $8 for a day pass, very worth it and highly recommended!

The staff, especially the supervisors and front office assistants, are extremely friendly! The facilities are top of the line featuring the best equipment and availability. I love the atmosphere at the BSU Rec Center!

The rec room offers a variety of high quality machines to choose from. The facility is very clean. My favorite thing about the Rec Center is the BSU Fit classes offered--they're so much fun!

They have a good amount of equipment BUT it s tiny for have 20,000+ students. If you enjoy waiting for frat bros to finish talking, this is your gym. Also, they do a horrible job keeping the facility clean. There s dust surrounding every single machine.

Staff is sometimes annoying and has no idea about weight lifting it's half and half. There is some knowledgeable staff though. Most are just enforcing the rules as they have been told. But some are over the top to where you don't enjoy your workout.

We are here for a volleyball tournament every year. You would think a facility dedicated to health and recreation would have better food options. They practically strip search you when entering the building in their effort to find contraband food and drink. Then, the concession stand offers little more than carnival food to keep our athletes nourished for the hours they are there playing with no breaks between games. A few grapes or carrots in a ziploc or apples and packaged cups of peanut butter would go a long way.

Great workout facility at Ball State. Never too crowded and enough equipment for students and faculty to easily use. As a former student, I remember the old fitness room and gym space - this facility is a dramatic improvement!

I absolutely LOVE the Ball State Rec Center. As an Alumni they give you an option to still have access to all facility equipment at a great price! On top of that they give the best customer service at the gym. For example, I usually buy the monthly pass for $30 and just renew it. I decided this time around to go with the Semester pass for $90 - an employee named Lexi told me to wait until Monday so the system recognizes the pass and then gave me a weekend pass to use the gym since my pass is now expired on a Friday. Great gym, great University, and amazing employees!
